About: Taken care of family dogs since 2010, ranging from small to large breeds. Experience in caring for more than one dog at a time. Comfortable walking small to large dogs. I have my own dog, she is a 2 year old dachshund-poodle mix who loves to play with dogs. I trained her since she was a puppy and is fully vaccinated and house-trained. Will provide loving care for your pets as I would my own. Full-Time student at KU. I live close to campus and can provide pet care in between classes throughout the day. Free availability on weekends and holidays. In class starting in August from 9am-3pm MWF, 12pm-6pm on Tuesday, and 12pm-2pm on Thursday. I have free periods on MWF to check in on pets and provide meals or walks. I live in an apartment complex with walking trails and a dog park to provide outdoor exercise. I also have one small (20lbs) female dog who is spayed, fully vaccinated, and trained. My dog loves other dogs and is used to living with small to large dogs. I have pet cameras with motion detection in my apartment so I can monitor pets if I’m in class; I am able to speak through the pet cameras in case any issues arise while I’m away briefly. I also have a small dog crate if needed.

“It was the week of July 4th. We arranged boarding tentatively, but the did not work out. Looking at Rover schedule again, we contacted Emily for July 2-7. Thankfully, she agreed. Ron and I and our 2 dogs met Emily and her dog Fish, at their lovely home, and the 3 of them began playing in her big backyard. What a handful they must have been, yet Emily sent many photos and said the dogs played and then napped often. Emily was a kind and gracious host who managed the care beautifully. We look forward to boarding with her again, if she is willing and able.. Thank you, Emily!”

About: I have had dogs since I was born and have taken care of them my entire life! I am a big dog lover and have 25 years of experience raising, feeding, house training, caring for, and loving on my pups (and every dog I encounter!!!) I am currently about to graduate law school in May and then will be studying for the bar exam Monday-Friday full time. So I will be home all-day, everyday during the week with the ability to take dogs on walks, potty breaks, go outside to play, etc. at any point in the day!! I live in an apartment and all of my neighbors have pups to keep your dogs company! There is a fenced-in dog park literally outside my window and I also have a porch that a dog can sit out on! My community is very dog-friendly! I do not have a crate, but if your dog is kennel trained then I can accommodate that if needed! I would prefer the pup to be potty trained and gets along with other dogs also. Other than that, I am pretty flexible as long as the dog is friendly!!

About: In my day job I am a home health/ Hospice assistant so I not only have experience taking care of people I also take care of people's fur babies when they are unable to. I also grew up with dogs so there is not a day that goes by in 25 years I have not taken care of a furry friend I currently work monday through friday 730am to 330 pm so afternoons and weekends are when I am most avaliable, and over nights as needed. I have vast knowledge of walking safety, leash control/safety, environmental triggers, and the importance of hydration and rest. When pet setting, I like to have a secure outdoor/ yard area, i stick to the owner and dogs set routine,and I like to respect that I am a guest in the animals home

About: I have had dogs and cats in my house since I was born and have taken on the majority of care. My neighbors would always ask me to dog sit for them whenever they go out of town. I have school in the mornings on weekdays so I am available for the afternoons and evenings during the weekend but completely free on weekends! I’ve always had a love for animals and make sure they receive the best care and attention by giving them regular exercise, meals, and plenty of playtime.
