About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy spending time caring for them. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, administering medication, and giving pets plenty of love and attention . I’m dependable, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs and personality. I do have a full time job. I work from 7am-3pm Tuesday-Saturday and off Sundays and Mondays. My wife works from home so there will always be someone here to take care of any pet needs. I have a cozy three bedroom house with a fenced in back yard. Plenty of room for them to run around and play. I love to go on walks and enjoy the outdoors. If they have any favorite spots to go or favorite toys to play with we'll play. Or any special instructions just let me know. I only take one client at a time, if you have more than one pet that's perfectly fine. About: I grew up on a farm with a variety of animals. I’ve hosted many types of foster animals from the Lawrence Humane society. I am comfortable with caring for all types of animals! I work full time as a police officer. However when I am working my boyfriend is home to take care of any animals we are hosting. I am available for walks anytime Saturday, Sunday and Mondays. I can walk pets in the evenings every other day of the week. I have a fenced yard and have two crate trained, pet friendly dogs. About: A dog has always been in my house growing up, except when I moved to lawrence to go to school/work. I learned to take care of dogs since I could walk. My first dog was a German Shepard. I learned how to brush, clean, feed, and exercise around 6 years old and have loved dogs ever since. From middle school until now I had a side gig of watching extended family/ friends dogs for the weekends, so I have worked with all types of dogs such as pit bulls, labs, Rottweilers, shorthairs, boxers, huskies, and I also have experience with small dog breeds such as pugs, terrors, mini poodles, and chihuahuas. I feed, brush, play with them, and provide them with veterinary care. I am available for regular check-ins daily, providing walks, playtime, feeding, etc. I am available Sunday, but only after 12pm. I am available early afternoon 11am-4pm and late evening 6-11pm Unfortunately at this time I do not have the space or luxury of providing boarding for pets as I live with other pets and people. About: Hi, I'm Cassie! I grew up with cats, but became a dog person the day I unexpectedly met my pup Rebel 12 years ago! I wasn't planning on getting a dog that day, but I fell in love the moment I saw him, and the rest is history! Our girl, Kimmy (10), joined us in 2020 when a friend needed to rehome her. She's a social butterfly. They love making new friends, so we'd love to host your little one(s), and welcome them into our home. We have a fully-fenced back yard to run and play in. Dogs are allowed on the furniture here, but I'm happy to follow any rules you may have for your dogs if you prefer they not get on furniture. I currently work full-time outside of the house, but can come home over lunch to offer potty breaks if needed. When dog sitting, I try to limit my nighttime plans, so I'll have lots of time to play with your pup(s) after work! Your dog will be safe at my house. I have a 6ft privacy fence around most of the backyard, and a 4ft picket fence along one edge. I never leave the dogs unattended in the yard. I have a large dog crate if needed.

About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

I work full time but have Wednesdays off and almost every weekend off. I also like to visit twice a day so I can check on any animal and make sure they are okay! If I am able I can always try to visit more! I treat any animal like my own but also respect whatever the owner wants. I will love them like they are my own! I can fit whatever they need into my schedule also!

Very chill, laid back, and accommodated very well to my requests or changes. He is very responsive, updates on how Tako is doing, and detailed Tako’s visit at the end. The added bonus is that all I had to provide for Tako for his stay was a bowl and food, Steve took care of the rest! This was the first day of my vacation, so I was not able to get Ruby myself, but my daughter got her. She said Ruby was glad to see her but would also have gone back to play with the other dogs if she had been allowed to : ) I will happily ask Maisy to look after her again when the need arises. Sorry this is so long in coming, but I only returned from my trip yesterday.”
About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy spending time caring for them. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, administering medication, and giving pets plenty of love and attention . I’m dependable, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs and personality. I do have a full time job. I work from 7am-3pm Tuesday-Saturday and off Sundays and Mondays. My wife works from home so there will always be someone here to take care of any pet needs. I have a cozy three bedroom house with a fenced in back yard. Plenty of room for them to run around and play. I love to go on walks and enjoy the outdoors. If they have any favorite spots to go or favorite toys to play with we'll play. Or any special instructions just let me know. I only take one client at a time, if you have more than one pet that's perfectly fine. I also send text updates pictures and video's of your pets care while your away.
About: I grew up on a farm with a variety of animals. I’ve hosted many types of foster animals from the Lawrence Humane society. I am comfortable with caring for all types of animals! I work full time as a police officer. However when I am working my boyfriend is home to take care of any animals we are hosting. I am available for walks anytime Saturday, Sunday and Mondays. I can walk pets in the evenings every other day of the week. I have a fenced yard and have two crate trained, pet friendly dogs. I’ve fostered for years for the animal shelter so my dogs are familiar with new animals being in the home. When your pets are let out in the yard they will be monitored! I can and will send updates as requested!

About: A dog has always been in my house growing up, except when I moved to lawrence to go to school/work. I learned to take care of dogs since I could walk. My first dog was a German Shepard. I learned how to brush, clean, feed, and exercise around 6 years old and have loved dogs ever since. From middle school until now I had a side gig of watching extended family/ friends dogs for the weekends, so I have worked with all types of dogs such as pit bulls, labs, Rottweilers, shorthairs, boxers, huskies, and I also have experience with small dog breeds such as pugs, terrors, mini poodles, and chihuahuas. So don’t worry about what breed of dog you have I am open to all kinds!
