About: I have had dogs my entire life, and currently have a 1 year old female redbone coonhound puppy and a 5 year old male lab husky mix. I love being around them, teaching them new tricks and commands. I am open in the morning from 9a.m to 1pm. On my off days, I am available from 9a.m to 3pm, with the exception of taking my youngest to school by 1240p.m. I can take dog (s) to the dog park or on a short ride or walk to get some energy out. She's a social butterfly. They love making new friends, so we'd love to host your little one(s), and welcome them into our home. We have a fully-fenced back yard to run and play in. Dogs are allowed on the furniture here, but I'm happy to follow any rules you may have for your dogs if you prefer they not get on furniture. I currently work full-time outside of the house, but can come home over lunch to offer potty breaks if needed. When dog sitting, I try to limit my nighttime plans, so I'll have lots of time to play with your pup(s) after work! Your dog will be safe at my house. I have a 6ft privacy fence around most of the backyard, and a 4ft picket fence along one edge. I never leave the dogs unattended in the yard. I have a large dog crate if needed.

About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! About: I have had dogs since I was born and have taken care of them my entire life! I am a big dog lover and have 25 years of experience raising, feeding, house training, caring for, and loving on my pups (and every dog I encounter!!!) I am currently about to graduate law school in May and then will be studying for the bar exam Monday-Friday full time. Whichever you choose, please know that your pet will be given the best care and so much love! I find that pets are generally more comfortable in their own space. I am happy to visit yours! My schedule is quite flexible and I am open to long-term set schedules or the occasional drop-in. I try my best to keep my calendar updated. I currently do not offer boarding services, however, you can be sure that both your home and your beloved pet will be safe with me.

About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: I have taken care of dogs for the majority of my life. I’ve grown up with them in many parts of my family and i’ve also taken care of family-friends animals when needed! I have no problems with providing animals with the care they deserve! I am currently working full time as a Waitress/Bartender! I have three dogs of my own that I take care of during my off time! My schedule does vary week to week, but it can also be flexible! I currently live in an apartment. I love taking my dogs on walks or to the dog parks around town. I also love just sitting outside with them on my porch and enjoying the weather!

I do not provide doggy daycare, however I do allow you pet (singular) to stay the night at my place for x amt. of nights when you need it. You should be aware if your pet is coming over to my home, that I have an 8mo. old puppy named Lilo (American Eskimo) who loves to hang out and socialize with other animals (I do not allow animals over 15lbs to stay in my home due to my own puppy who is rather small). I can train your dog or just snuggle them and play with them! I am working towards going full time care taker so that I can build my clientele. As of now I work full time at a doggie day care as their manager and dog trainer and will be decreasing my hours as my clients increase! I can travel to your home or bring your best friend to mine! I have a very large fenced in back yard, and a very friendly dog. A few kennels for rest time as well.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and currently have a 1 year old female redbone coonhound puppy and a 5 year old male lab husky mix. I love being around them, teaching them new tricks and commands. I am open in the morning from 9a.m to 1pm. On my off days, I am available from 9a.m to 3pm, with the exception of taking my youngest to school by 1240p.m. I can take dog (s) to the dog park or on a short ride or walk to get some energy out.
