About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

About: What sets me apart is the level of love, patience, and personalized care I give every pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies who need consistency, potty breaks, playtime, and basic routine reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may need a gentler pace, extra patience, medication support, or additional comfort. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents always know their furry family members are happy and well cared for. I’m able to help out on Monday-Friday or Saturdays and Sundays. Let me know what fits your needs and I will be more then happy to accommodate! I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Especially in their own home. I do not accept boarding as my currently home is renting.

About: I've been a pet caretaker since I was 12. Dogs quickly connect with me for play, walking and companionship- just like you were there too. I have a very flexible schedule with my JMU classes this semester so I have lots of available time to spend with your fur baby. I am currently home for summer! I am very comfortable using any style leash for walking and using crates. My time with your fur baby will focus on play, fun and comfort

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have been dog-sitting since I was 12! My favorite part is taking dogs on multiple walks a day, it is such a strong point of connection and exercise for them! I’m currently working part-time while in graduate school, so my schedule is very flexible! I am off work during the summer, so more availability ! I make sure that I am gentle and warm when first meeting pets, to build the rapport! I also ensure to implement how the owners take care of their pet, so it feels familiar!

Right now I have a 2 acres property where the dogs can run and play all day long. Im at home full time so I can take care of your dogs necessities. About: I have worked with several different breeds, and personalities of dogs. I also have experience with older dogs and being sensitive to their needs as they age. Providing a calm and reasurring presence to my canine friends, whether they are excited to see me or feeling a little stressed with their owner gone. About: I am an animal lover, from cats and dogs, to rabbits and gerbils! I have two dogs of my own who I love to look after and spend time with. I am a responsible, caring, and considerate person who will always prioritize your comfort and convenience- and your pet’s comfort! I just graduated from high school and will be available to pet sit for the summer before I start college. I am looking for little jobs that I am highly interested in to earn money before college, which would help me a lot to pay for expenses. I am home mornings and evenings, with the occasional babysitting in the afternoon during the week. I normally stay home on weekends. Overall, I will always be able to give your pet(s) a ton of attention, love, and affection! My house is on 2.5 acres, but also has a smaller gated area just for the dogs so the little ones don’t escape through the larger fence. Although, if you have a big dog, the larger backyard area is entirely fenced in- the large yard is perfect to play in! The house also has a separate pet area inside, but, for the most part, the dogs will be in the house with me. My family and I keep a clean home and do not smoke, so your pet(s) will remain safe and healthy in my environment!

About: Happy Hearts Pet Sitting gives dogs a wonderful park-like experience and loving environment. We have over 150 acres of beautiful rolling hills conveniently located between Lynchburg and Charlottesville. During the visit, we will take your dog for relaxing on-leash walks. When they are indoors, they will have access to a large, comfortable farmhouse with loving people to keep them company. We will never let your dog off the leash outside and will always give them the highest level of supervision. I have been watching dogs for conscientious pet owners for over 12 years, and I have had a dog for many years. Since the dogs have the run of the house and we live on a farm with lots of outdoor activity, we require that dogs are treated with flea and tick medicine before arrival.
