About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

About: Happy Hearts Pet Sitting gives dogs a wonderful park-like experience and loving environment. We have over 150 acres of beautiful rolling hills conveniently located between Lynchburg and Charlottesville. During the visit, we will take your dog for relaxing on-leash walks. When they are indoors, they will have access to a large, comfortable farmhouse with loving people to keep them company. We will never let your dog off the leash outside and will always give them the highest level of supervision. I have been watching dogs for conscientious pet owners for over 12 years, and I have had a dog for many years. Since the dogs have the run of the house and we live on a farm with lots of outdoor activity, we require that dogs are treated with flea and tick medicine before arrival. About: What sets me apart is the level of love, patience, and personalized care I give every pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies who need consistency, potty breaks, playtime, and basic routine reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may need a gentler pace, extra patience, medication support, or additional comfort. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents always know their furry family members are happy and well cared for. I’m able to help out on Monday-Friday or Saturdays and Sundays. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have been dog-sitting since I was 12! My favorite part is taking dogs on multiple walks a day, it is such a strong point of connection and exercise for them! I’m currently working part-time while in graduate school, so my schedule is very flexible! I am off work during the summer, so more availability ! Right now I have a 2 acres property where the dogs can run and play all day long. Im at home full time so I can take care of your dogs necessities. About: I will walk, bathe, and feed your precious loves. I will make sure your babies are loved and cared for. If you don’t like something for your animals, I won’t do it. Willing to negotiate if you have multiple dogs , or cats if you have cats. I will make sure your lovely animals are happy and well taken care of while under my supervision and care. I don’t allow animals on my bed but they are allowed on my futon, if you may have special ways of taking care of them I will make sure they are taken care of the way you want them to be! I love animals and want them happy! Willing to travel and stay at your home with your animals if that’s what you’re more comfortable with! I’m currently not working, so my time and attention is 100% on your loved animals. I will make sure your baby is loved and taken care of. I have an unfenced yard but i do have a leash & a dog cable so i can have your dog outside getting some sun and enjoying the weather. I have 1 dog that can keep your dog company!

About: I have had pets from day one. My family has had 4 cats, 2 dogs, hamsters, lizards, fish, and even a hedgehog!. I’m currently a Nursing student who’s past career was a veterinary technician. Caring for animals is my passion and I hope I get to meet your fur babies sometime and give them some extra love. I provide written updates and pictures of your pet having fun after each visit! When I’m not working as a wildlife care professional, I set aside time to care for your pets! About: I have been a dog and cat owner/lover/advocate my whole life. I miss having my own pets so much so I pet sit during our travels and while we are home too! I’m a massage therapist and energy worker so animals LOVE my touch and calming presence. I’m very active and love long walks. I’m totally comfortable with large dogs. I have retired early so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to travel to pet sits. I tend to do pet sitting in Florida during the months of January and February. I love having dogs and cats in my home. There is a little river behind my house and the national forest and Sherando Lake Recreation Area is just beyond the river so there’s lots of space for long walks. Pets will get lots of loving care, tons of cuddles, and undivided attention while under my care and I will walk for as long and far as your dog (or cat) wants to.

About: I am an animal lover, from cats and dogs, to rabbits and gerbils! I have two dogs of my own who I love to look after and spend time with. I am a responsible, caring, and considerate person who will always prioritize your comfort and convenience- and your pet’s comfort! I just graduated from high school and will be available to pet sit for the summer before I start college. I am looking for little jobs that I am highly interested in to earn money before college, which would help me a lot to pay for expenses. I am home mornings and evenings, with the occasional babysitting in the afternoon during the week. I normally stay home on weekends. Overall, I will always be able to give your pet(s) a ton of attention, love, and affection! My house is on 2.5 acres, but also has a smaller gated area just for the dogs so the little ones don’t escape through the larger fence. Although, if you have a big dog, the larger backyard area is entirely fenced in- the large yard is perfect to play in! The house also has a separate pet area inside, but, for the most part, the dogs will be in the house with me. My family and I keep a clean home and do not smoke, so your pet(s) will remain safe and healthy in my environment!

I have a doggie door for the emergency potties and I enjoy training so that can be part of the routine. I have a fenced in yard and I am able to provide mental enrichment as well as physical walks/Sniffari adventures and I have personal pups to keeps your busy! I have the ability to crate and even do drop bys at your house if needed.
