About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

About: I have experience caring for all age ranges of cats and dogs. I have 3 years of animal welfare experience previously working in a shelter and i have always naturally been a huge animals lover. I have the ability to read animals body language really well. I connect quickly with every animal I meet! I have experience with different kinds of energy levels as well. If your dog needs a hike and does well in the car; I’m your gal!!, If they just need cuddles while we binge a tv show I can do that too! I have experience with bunnies, chickens and birds too!! I have a 3 year old dog named Ace who came to me as a puppy. I raised him and have trained him to be off leash, sit, stay, paw, and heel. (Basic commands) if you need assistance or would like for me to work with your dog in any training/ socializing way please reach out! Currently available anytime! Would love to have the ability to work with your animals and still have the time to give my animals the loving they deserve as well! I walk my dog every chance I get while working on any minor behavioral or fear based problems to insure my baby can live a full healthy happy life.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. I am generous with my love with pets if they want that. If they are shy I will absolutely listen to what they need and let them warm up to me at their own pace. I am clean and respectful of others’ space and strive to make sure your sweet pup gets the activities they deserve.

I have a spacious fenced in yard and an endless amount of love to give! I’m a paramedic full-time and I only work 2 days a week! I’m free the other 5 days! I’m available any time of the day! About: I’ve taken care of many pets in the past 7 years like dogs, cats, birds, and have even worked on a farm helping to take care of animals. I am currently in college, so I have some free time that i’d love to spend with different animals. I love playing and taking care of animals and love them to be part of my life. In other clients homes, I will abide by the rules they have and make sure that my visit runs smoothly. I will show the pet love and care to ensure that they are happy.

About: I absolutely love animals and have had them through out my entire life. I have experience from working at “Dogtopia” to “Home away from home, dog boarding”. I understand the importance of family and would love to be your dogs next best friend! I have experience providing care for a variety of animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health. I am familiar with cleaning and sanitizing animal housing and equipment, and can recognize signs of illness or distress. By feeding, walks, and playtime—with my personal habits like breakfast, exercise, and evening relaxation it helps to create a consistent, healthy routine. My successful routine with my 12 year old senior terrier includes early morning engagement to set a positive tone, scheduled midday breaks or mental stimulation to combat boredom, and structured evening bonding that eases stress. I have a 12 year old friendly Emotional support animal named Flower, who still loves to run and play. I also live close to the park, and have a crate if needed.

About: I am an animal lover, from cats and dogs, to rabbits and gerbils! I have two dogs of my own who I love to look after and spend time with. I am a responsible, caring, and considerate person who will always prioritize your comfort and convenience- and your pet’s comfort! I am a rising 3rd year college student at the University of Virginia. I have flexibility this summer, as I am taking a summer course and doing research. I am respectful of your spaces if I were to dog sit, but live in an apartment so can not offer pet boarding long-term.

About: I have had pets from day one. My family has had 4 cats, 2 dogs, hamsters, lizards, fish, and even a hedgehog!. I’m currently a Nursing student who’s past career was a veterinary technician. Caring for animals is my passion and I hope I get to meet your fur babies sometime and give them some extra love. I have experience with dogs with special needs as well as dogs who are in rehabilitation. I am up for any task that includes a precious pup or any other fur baby that needs me. I look forward to meeting you and you’re families and hopefully be honored to care for your lovely pets! I have a flexible schedule and am very accommodating. If there is a will there is a way is how I think of things, you can always count on me! Unfortunately at this time I do not do in home boarding as I have my own little circus of fur babies who are friendly but just don’t like change.

About: I’ve always been surrounded by many animals growing up. However, recently I have moved out & had to leave my furry family friends behind. With my experience, I’ve decided to move forward and care for others animals instead of my own! I’m available strictly Tuesday-Friday (cannot leave pet overnight on fridays, as I do work the following day). Any other days are welcome, as well as overnight in regards to available days I have a home to share, with 3 bedrooms and a couple bathrooms. There’s a large space to share for any pets who enjoy roaming

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets over the years. Neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to feed, walk, and bathe their pets. I’m currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after 11am. I live in a small neighborhood with places to go for walks and have lots of backyard space. Perfect for playing fetch with your pups!

About: I have grown up with my family’s Golden Retriever. My husband and I also have a Golden Retriever. I have also fostered and taken care of a few dogs from the SPCA to give them a break from the shelter. I have helped watch friends and family dogs while they are away. My husband and I am available all throughout the week to give your dog all the attention it needs. My husband works from home so your dog will have company throughout the day. We have a fenced in yard that we can let your dog out to run around with our Golden Retriever. We will also take them on nice walks around our neighborhood and on the trail by our house. My husband and I live in a house in a neighborhood where we can take them on long walks throughout the day. I have a 2 year old golden retriever. We have lots of room for them to run around and toys for them to play with. We have a fenced in back yard for them to run around in as well.

About: I have had dogs and cats growing up ever since I was born. I was always the go-to neighbor or friend pet sitter. I love animals deeply and will do everything I can to make you pet feel right at home. It’s a plus for me too to be able to meet your fury friend! I work part time and have a flexible schedule, so I am able to accommodate most people’s availability. I can make most pets schedules work and am open to working morning, afternoon, and evening. I live in a townhome with 3 other pets so I will not be able to accommodate boarding. That being said, I am very interested in doing house sittings and working with the owner to come up with a complete safety plan that fits the animals and their environment.
