About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. My sister is a vet at Dominion Animal Hospital so I have immediate access to professional help if needed!

About: I have pet sat for many families with both dogs and cats. I can do anything from changing litter boxes to walking dogs. Let me know + ask any questions you may have! I have a full time job but would love to watch over your babies too! This is something I do with my own 3 cats and I also had dogs growing up. Animals are a huge part of my life! I like to provide a safe space for animals who's humans have gone away one a trip etc. I like to hangout with him and cuddle (if able) and give all the love I can!

About: I’ve taken care of our family’s animals since I was very young — including cats, dogs, hamsters, hermit crabs, fish. I’ve helped train my dogs as puppies and provided everything they’ve needed to thrive! I am currently home from college for the summer with my days completely free! Any day of the week fits with my schedule including weekends! I usually spend most of my time with my pets when i’m home so your animal will be well attended to! In clients homes I love getting to know their pet and forming a bond with them even if our time together is short!

About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

About: I've had cats my entire life. I've cared for friends' and neighbors cats and dogs and love going for walks and playing with dogs/cats of all ages! I work from home so I have flexibility to meet the needs of your schedule. I am available early in the morning, afternoons, and evenings. I'm Kelsey, and I'm a mid 20s UVA student looking to make a bit of extra money while I get my education degree :) I have lived with both dogs and cats since I was 5 years old and have spent all of high school and college pet sitting. I'm used to specific instructions and special needs, I grew up with dogs that needed both (and a blind cat). I'm just a girl who loves hanging out with animals! I currently do not live with any pets as well :) I am currently a full time student with a flexible schedule! I do not have any pets of my own and have lots of time daily or weekly to meet your pets needs :) I do not offer in home services because I rent in a space where pets are not allowed in my lease, hence why I do not have a pet of my own.

About: I was born and raised around dogs and know how they are true members of the family and deserve that care. I've pet sit many times from puppies to seniors, given pets their medication, stayed overnight with anxious pups, and I've even taken a dog first aid class to ensure I give your pets the best treatment. About: Animals have always been a major part of my life. I have experience with grooming, bathing & boarding animals during my college days. Animals sense the kindness & goodwill in my heart. I was recently told, "I have never seen my cat allow anyone to pick her up." I also briefly fostered a German Shepherd at a local kennel. She only allowed me to be around her. She was very protective of me. She was a one person dog that needed to be adopted by someone who had a lot of time to change her aggressive behavior towards others. I currently own 3 geriatric kitties. Ebony is 14, Buzz is 17 & Bacardi is 21. Two of my 3 are on medications all of the time. I also have a 2 year old German Shepherd I rescued from a bad situation. Her name is Khelani. I call her Lani for short. She is a sweetheart and has needed a lot of socialization due to her prior home. I am currently not working. Pet care is the perfect fit for me at this point in my life. Taking care of animals is a joy. My love, empathy, compassion & heart of gold touches the innocence that animals behold. I will feed, play, walk, clean kitty boxes and all else needed during my visit. I am prepared to spend quality time with your precious fur baby. It is clear you are trusting me in their care. I take care of my animals first because they depend on me alone for a happy, safe and loving life. My own pets are 3 cats and one dog. My cats are all geriatric and have special needs. I make sure they always have fresh clean water daily and clean bowls. Several kitties take daily meds for the rest of their lives. My dog is high energy. I take her on long walks and hikes in the mountains. She is very attentive to me and sticks to me like glue wherever we go. I give her cosequin daily for healthy joints. She also eats blue buffalo with glucosamine chondroitin part of the ingredients. I also feed my kitties high quality food to hopefully prolong a healthy long life. All of my animals are indoor. They are a bunch of spoiled fur babies. I wouldn't have it any other way.
