About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. I am generous with my love with pets if they want that. If they are shy I will absolutely listen to what they need and let them warm up to me at their own pace. I am clean and respectful of others’ space and strive to make sure your sweet pup gets the activities they deserve.

About: I have been pet sitting for many years, typically with friends and family. I have been responsible for cats (domestic & feral), dogs, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, guinea fowls, fish, bearded dragons, geckos and even a millipede! I have also worked with animals in a professional setting for 14 years and I have some veterinary assistant experience. I’m happy to handle extra tasks such as retrieving mail, watering plants and even some light housekeeping. I work full time (4 days per week) but can provide morning and evening care most days. I currently care for a 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, so I have firsthand experience managing high energy levels, from his puppy years through his senior stage, while also being attentive to the extra care older dogs need. About: I have been taking care of neighbors' dogs since I was nine years old! I have watched many senior dogs and dogs with special routines. I'm currently working on my Master's in Public Health at UVA, so I have plenty of flexibility to keep your dogs company! I am available most weekday evenings and weekends! About: I’ve taken care of many animals in my life and I will continue to take care of animals for as long as I live. Getting to see dogs and cats every day has always been a joy but it’s been even better knowing I take care of people’s pets, knowing that people trust me with their furry friends is an honor. I’ve been in many different kinds of environments with dogs and cats outside of dog sitting. I have worked as a kennel assistant in two different vets, and realized that the veterinary field wasn’t the field I wanted to go down, I’ve worked in a doggy daycare where I go to play with dogs and see the looks on dogs faces when their owner picked up, I now work as a dog bather and have goals to become a dog groomer in the future. I will always have dog sitting open and available for years to come. Working with animals is so rewarding and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I currently am not working any jobs at the moment but I am a college student. My hours are much more flexible than they were in high school. I have class on Mondays and Wednesdays, and I also have band practice every day from 6-7:30. My weekends are free unless I have a game on Saturday or if I plan to go home on a weekend. We have a double harness leash for both of our dogs and we take them on daily walks. We do live in a townhome so we don’t have a fence but we do take them out and if you have a fence I will definitely be sure to give your furry friend the exercise they need!

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
