About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. I am generous with my love with pets if they want that. If they are shy I will absolutely listen to what they need and let them warm up to me at their own pace. I am clean and respectful of others’ space and strive to make sure your sweet pup gets the activities they deserve.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with both energetic dogs and senior pets. I currently care for a 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, so I have firsthand experience managing high energy levels, from his puppy years through his senior stage, while also being attentive to the extra care older dogs need. I can balance exercise, routine, and care. In addition, I have two 14 year old cats and experience feeding cats and maintaining clean litter boxes. I also enjoy running and I have experience running with my GSP. Hello! I am currently abroad on an extended vacation and temporarily unable to accept new Rover bookings. I will return on September 30th and will be fully available starting October 1st for dog walking, drop in visits, and house sitting. Because I am between jobs during October, I will have excellent, flexible availability to dedicate to your pets! Just a quick heads-up, I am moving to Denver November 1st, so I will be transitioning my services out of the Crozet area at that time. :) I primarily offer care in my clients’ homes and aim to take walks in the Crozet area so I can easily walk or drive to clients’ homes for dog walks, pick-ups, or check-in visits.

I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to visit and play with your pets! I'm available at most times, 7 days a week. I care for pets by following their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any special instructions. In my home, I provide a safe, supervised environment that is clean and has plenty of open space. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar surroundings while keeping their space clean and secure. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can see that your pet is happy and well cared for!

About: Being an MBU student gives me the flexibility for mid day walks and night time visits. I am attentive, kind, and love all the cuddles! I am looking forward to serving your pet needs, as I’ve done for friends and neighbors since I was young! I am currently in a full time doctorate program, so I am in class during the day. I am looking for part-time meetings or drop ins, when necessary. If further commitment is needed, I am happy to discuss this with you! I am more than happy to play with, walk, or entertain your pet. I am here to make sure your animals stay happy and healthy while you are gone. I have experience walking 80-85 lb dogs and am able to control the walk as appropriate.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals in my life and I will continue to take care of animals for as long as I live. Getting to see dogs and cats every day has always been a joy but it’s been even better knowing I take care of people’s pets, knowing that people trust me with their furry friends is an honor. I’ve been in many different kinds of environments with dogs and cats outside of dog sitting. I have worked as a kennel assistant in two different vets, and realized that the veterinary field wasn’t the field I wanted to go down, I’ve worked in a doggy daycare where I go to play with dogs and see the looks on dogs faces when their owner picked up, I now work as a dog bather and have goals to become a dog groomer in the future. I will always have dog sitting open and available for years to come. Working with animals is so rewarding and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I currently am not working any jobs at the moment but I am a college student. My hours are much more flexible than they were in high school. I have class on Mondays and Wednesdays, and I also have band practice every day from 6-7:30. My weekends are free unless I have a game on Saturday or if I plan to go home on a weekend. We have a double harness leash for both of our dogs and we take them on daily walks. We do live in a townhome so we don’t have a fence but we do take them out and if you have a fence I will definitely be sure to give your furry friend the exercise they need!

About: I’m an experienced dog owner, hiker, and daily dog walker who genuinely enjoys spending time outdoors with dogs. For more than 20 years, I’ve cared for my own dogs as well as pets belonging to friends, family, and clients. I’ve worked with puppies, seniors, and dogs with special needs, and I’m comfortable following detailed feeding routines, giving oral medications, and caring for anxious or reactive dogs. Since I have a reactive dog of my own, I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and helping dogs feel safe instead of overwhelmed. Most mornings start with several miles on the trail or around the neighborhood with my own dogs, so active dogs who enjoy getting outside fit naturally into my routine. At the same time, I’m just as happy taking things slow with a senior dog who would rather wander, sniff, and enjoy a quiet walk. When your dog is with me, you can expect: • Calm, dependable care from someone who is comfortable managing multiple dogs • Safe, structured walks based on your dog’s pace and personality • Time to explore, sniff, play, or simply relax, depending on what your dog enjoys • Regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing I don’t believe every dog needs the same experience. Some love an adventure, some thrive on routine, and some are happiest curled up beside someone they trust. My goal is to figure out what makes your dog feel comfortable and make sure they have that while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your dog and learn what makes them happiest. Most mornings you’ll find me outside before the heat sets in. I walk my own dogs every day, spend a lot of time hiking local trails, and genuinely enjoy being outdoors. Adding another walk or checking in on someone else’s pet doesn’t feel like work to me. It’s just part of a life I already love. I’m pretty low-key by nature, so I don’t rush through visits or watch the clock. If your dog wants to sniff every blade of grass, we’ll sniff. If your cat would rather sit quietly while I read a book than play, that’s okay too. I believe every animal has its own personality, and I try to meet them where they are instead of expecting them to fit into my routine. My goal is simple: when you come home, your pet has been well cared for, and you don’t have to wonder if they were just another stop on someone’s schedule. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I try to keep life as normal as possible. I stick closely to the routine you’ve already established because consistency helps pets feel secure. Meals happen when they’re used to eating, walks happen on their schedule, and medications are given exactly as instructed. I don’t believe every dog needs the same approach. Some want to play nonstop, some just want to sniff every inch of the yard, and some are happiest curled up beside you. I pay attention to what each pet is telling me and let them settle in at their own pace. I also know how reassuring updates can be when you’re away. I’ll send photos and let you know how your pet is doing, so you can enjoy your trip without wondering if everything is okay.
