About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. I am generous with my love with pets if they want that. If they are shy I will absolutely listen to what they need and let them warm up to me at their own pace. I am clean and respectful of others’ space and strive to make sure your sweet pup gets the activities they deserve.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. I love dogs and cats. I love animals and have no problem spending my free time taking care of and playing with some fur babies. I have a pug that I've had since she was 6 weeks old. I also have a cat who I took in after his old owner abandoned him. I currently work full time Monday-Friday 8-5pm in Charlottesville. I am more than happy to stop by after work if needed or if you want me to stay at your place I can take care of the babies before heading to work to make sure they are fed and worked. Can work with a lot of schedules. I do make and sell jewelry so there may be a few weekend days where my availability is limited due to already committed to a craft show In my house I try and take my dog out every 2 hours. In the summer my pug is sensitive to heat so we do short walks around our driveway. She is a bit spoiled and will not go outside in the rain so I do also have experience cleaning up puppy pads and encouraging their use. My cat is both indoors and outdoors so he goes to the bathroom outside but also have a litter box inside I clean every few days for him.

She stayed with them in our home and kept up their routine perfectly. She sent us photos and videos every day so we knew exactly that was happening. It made our whole trip much more relaxing.”

About: I absolutely love animals and have had them through out my entire life. I have experience from working at “Dogtopia” to “Home away from home, dog boarding”. I understand the importance of family and would love to be your dogs next best friend! I have experience providing care for a variety of animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health. I am familiar with cleaning and sanitizing animal housing and equipment, and can recognize signs of illness or distress. By feeding, walks, and playtime—with my personal habits like breakfast, exercise, and evening relaxation it helps to create a consistent, healthy routine. My successful routine with my 12 year old senior terrier includes early morning engagement to set a positive tone, scheduled midday breaks or mental stimulation to combat boredom, and structured evening bonding that eases stress. I have a 12 year old friendly Emotional support animal named Flower, who still loves to run and play. I also live close to the park, and have a crate if needed.

About: I have been owning pets since I was a child and I have loved animals in general ever since. I’ve cared for young animals to older animals I walk them and bathe them and I just love hanging out with animals! I go to school on Mondays and Tuesdays, and I have a job other days but I only work morning shifts and get off around 5:30–to 6:00 depending on the day! I unfortunately cannot have other animals in my house. I have 6 animals which include one dog and 5 cats, I have a fenced in yard where my dog hangs out to go potty and get some air and my cats have a lot of toys to play with! And I can do the same thing in your house with your fur children!

About: I have three dogs of myself and a rabbit! I’m previously from Arizona and I’ve had dogs for longer than I can remember. I have experience in taking care of elderly dogs (14+). Currently two of my dogs are with me in VA. I make sure to remove and sterilize shoes before entering the home. Just reach out and we can shot some time around and do a meet and great! Im a graduate student and my schedule is relatively free at the moment. Any type of changes to my schedule will be communicated. I can give more concrete times when given exact dates. I don't take pets in my home due to having two dogs myself. I make sure to sterilize shoes and hands before entering premises as a precaution for dogs with sensitive health.

“Alexis was amazing with Brody and Marco while doing house sitting at my place. She was prompt and took the time needed for both of my dogs since they both have different needs. She gave the medications as instructed and gave my boy Marco the extra time he needs due to his past and getting comfortable with people. She even did extra things I didn’t ask her to do. About: I have always grown up with animals, and right now, I have 2 cats and a dog! My dog is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and very energetic, so I am quite comfortable with high energy dogs. I have also been pet sitting since high school for various neighbors, friends, coworkers, etc, and I absolutely love to do it! Tengo un apartamento bastantes amplio dónde tu mascota puede estar tranquilamente, tengo algunos premios, juguetes, comida, cosas con las cuales estoy segura no podria aburrirse, me gusta mucho salir a caminar asi que podria ser un gran beneficio si lo que necesitas es que tu mascota salga a despejarse un poco.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals in my life and I will continue to take care of animals for as long as I live. Getting to see dogs and cats every day has always been a joy but it’s been even better knowing I take care of people’s pets, knowing that people trust me with their furry friends is an honor. I’ve been in many different kinds of environments with dogs and cats outside of dog sitting. I have worked as a kennel assistant in two different vets, and realized that the veterinary field wasn’t the field I wanted to go down, I’ve worked in a doggy daycare where I go to play with dogs and see the looks on dogs faces when their owner picked up, I now work as a dog bather and have goals to become a dog groomer in the future. I will always have dog sitting open and available for years to come. Working with animals is so rewarding and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I currently am not working any jobs at the moment but I am a college student. My hours are much more flexible than they were in high school. I have class on Mondays and Wednesdays, and I also have band practice every day from 6-7:30. My weekends are free unless I have a game on Saturday or if I plan to go home on a weekend. We have a double harness leash for both of our dogs and we take them on daily walks. We do live in a townhome so we don’t have a fence but we do take them out and if you have a fence I will definitely be sure to give your furry friend the exercise they need!
