About: I have a soft spot in my heart for all animals. Before becoming a homeowner in 2018, I cared for dogs and cats and guinea pigs for friends and family. I'd walk, play, feed, bathe, administer meds, and do some mentally stimulating games with them. After purchasing my own home, I began to rescue animals from the streets and from community members who couldn't care for their pets anymore -- cats and kittens, emaciated dogs, ferrets, chinchillas, dwarf hamsters, small and large and gigantic dogs. I've settled into 2 of my own dogs, care for a few stray cats, and have caged chinchillas that come to school with me weekly. I absolutely love caring for animals, which is why I want to work for Rover! I make my own schedule with a youth volunteer program, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am comfortable in a dynamic work setting, meaning I can take bookings weeks in advance or day of. I am usually not away from my house for more than 2-3 hours at a time for my job. For my home, I have a large fenced in backyard and two dogs of my own (1.5yrs each) to play with. I have TONS of toys and mentally simulating games. I have an open door policy on warm days, meaning I leave the door to the backyard open for the dogs to run in and out (on cold days it stays shut, but I have bells on the door knob for them to use to signal outside). I will accommodate with the owner though, if their pet has a set routine or habits.

About: I have taken care of animals big and small, and of all ages, for at least 10 years on my own. I started caring for family animals alone when I was 12 and then have moved to caring for neighborhood and friends’ animals for years now as well. I work a food service job but work 9 hours a day at the most, on average 5-8 hours per day, 5 days a week. I am able to care for animals during any hours in which I am not working. I have experience doing both live-in animal care and also multiple visits per day animal care. I have experience administering and tracking pet medications and various meal plans, whatever your pet needs I am more than happy to provide!

About: Hello! My name is Ellie S. I am 29 year sales and marketing professional who enjoys house sitting and dog walking on the side to keep life interesting. I work from home full time which means I have a flexible schedule that allows me to have greater availability. I grew up with pets from the time I was 4 years old- I can't remember a time before we had dogs. I currently own one pit bull/husky mix who I’ve raised from 8 weeks old. He’s now 5 and comes with me on most house sitting jobs! I have provided pet care for several families. The dogs I have cared for have ranged in size from small lap dog to medium sized lab. This care has ranged from short stays during the day to overnight stays for a weekend. I have experience walking, feeding, watering, giving oral medication, and any other general care needs. I work full time but completely from home, so I have a lot of flexibility for both house sitting and drop in visits! Dog walking is also something I can do either in addition to a stay or drop in or as its own thing. I only do care at clients homes as my place is a rental and doesn’t allow for any pets on the premises that aren’t on the lease. Depending on needs I am comfortable having dogs loose in the house with me, I can crate as needed, I can manage keeping certain pets separate from others if needed, and am happy to follow any instructions specific to the pets and property!

About: I’ve had a dog my entire life except for a few very lonely months in 2020 after I lost the love of my life, Romey, the naughtiest lab with the best sense of humor. I grew up with labs (mostly ) but now have Gizmo, a labrodoodle , who will soon become BDE (best dog ever) if he can finally learn how to not jump like a kangaroo when he sees his dog friends. I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was young. I’d walk, feed and love on my neighbors and friends pets. I hope I will be the one you call and who you can trust with your furry BFF. Whether you have a long day at work or a weekend vacation, I’ll be there for you! I work part time on the weekends up on the mountain and have lots of time during the week to help out with your dog! I have a fenced in play area in my back yard and crates, dog beds and a designated “dog room” where your pet can relax in solitude or with Gizmo!

About: I am an active retiree, who adores animals. I am able to spend many hours with your pet while you're away, and give ample love and exercise. I have been a dog owner for most of my life and am comfortable around all breeds. My wide open schedule allows me the flexibility to be there whenever your pet needs me! I am currently retired and have full availability. I am around during the holidays as my family is close by. I am available weekends, weekdays, extended stays! I will follow whatever your instructions you give. I will try to closely mimic your pets normal routine as to reduce anxiety. I am active and love to take dogs on long walks if they are able. I will sit with them on furniture if that is allowed or keep them off if that is what the owner prefers.
