About: I've had cats my entire life. I've cared for friends' and neighbors cats and dogs and love going for walks and playing with dogs/cats of all ages! I work from home so I have flexibility to meet the needs of your schedule. I am available early in the morning, afternoons, and evenings. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. I am generous with my love with pets if they want that. If they are shy I will absolutely listen to what they need and let them warm up to me at their own pace. My responsibilities have included feeding, grooming, administering basic medications, and ensuring the animals’ living spaces are clean and comfortable. About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have had both dogs and cats of my own, so I understand how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to find someone you can trust. While I don’t have formal professional pet-care experience, I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for my own pets and treating them like family. About: As a mom of 2 human children and 1 very special needs bulldog, I can promise you I will be patient, caring and attentive when caring for your fur baby. Whether it’s lots of walks or dog parks or ball tossing playtime they need, or just cuddles and hugs if they want to lay low, rest assured your fur baby will receive the same level of care you would give them. My bulldog Nora has been special needs since day one- we say she is “misunderstood”. Dealing with pet sitters and walkers has been a nightmare for us so I never want another owner to have to go through the struggles we did. I only take on one pet at a time so they will get 100 percent of my attention.
About: I love dogs more than most people :) and am always looking to make more furry friends. I am also a massage therapist and give a doggone good doggy rub. I am happy and entertained by a good game of catch and retrieve and am as comfortable with 2 pound pups as I am with 200 pound pups. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
