She made sure our grouchy old lady always ate and was brushed, and she spent time to try and bond with her too. Pam kept their boxes spotless and entertained our two younger heathens with treats and brushing every day. Everyone’s fur is soft and clean and they all are well fed and seemed happy and calm when we returned! No urgent “where have you BEEN” meows like usual when we leave them for a shorter time! Pam even suggested that she put music on the radio for them and did and I think they really liked it! About: As a mom of 2 human children and 1 very special needs bulldog, I can promise you I will be patient, caring and attentive when caring for your fur baby. Whether it’s lots of walks or dog parks or ball tossing playtime they need, or just cuddles and hugs if they want to lay low, rest assured your fur baby will receive the same level of care you would give them. My bulldog Nora has been special needs since day one- we say she is “misunderstood”. Dealing with pet sitters and walkers has been a nightmare for us so I never want another owner to have to go through the struggles we did. I only take on one pet at a time so they will get 100 percent of my attention.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
