About: I have over 12 years of experience caring for animals. As a former pet owner, I understand the stress that comes with finding someone compatible and dedicated enough to watch over your loved ones while you are away. My clients have been able to rely on me to take great care of their loved ones while they are away. I have experience, with walking, feeding, cleaning, and medicating pets. I have also worked with rescues and difficult to deal with dogs and cats. Please do not worry about the size of your dog, I am very comfortable caring for large dogs as well as small. I have recently graduated from Roanoke college, so I will have plenty of time to play with, care for, and love on your pets while you are away. Seeing your pets happy makes me happy! I am very detail oriented so there is no need to worry about whether your pet has received their medication or if they will escape the house or yard. I always triple check to ensure their needs have been met, from feeding to walking to medication – with the addition of playtime and treats.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. I am generous with my love with pets if they want that. If they are shy I will absolutely listen to what they need and let them warm up to me at their own pace. I am clean and respectful of others’ space and strive to make sure your sweet pup gets the activities they deserve.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve had big and small dogs. I currently have two small Morkies, Pickle and Penny. Pickle requires a special diet and pills to be given daily. Penny loves to be close and cuddle. My parents dogs is a black lab who over the past few years I’ve helped take care of. She has Addison disease and requires medication daily. She also needs a special routine to help keep her from getting overwhelmed. I’ve also had cats throughout my whole life and frequently had to give medications to my last cat Tilly. I really am looking forward to an opportunity to help be involved in your pets life. Whether it’s for a short walk, a play in the park, or just cuddles. I can’t have cats or other dogs because my wife is allergic to them. I’ve recently moved away from my family and looking to be able to still be able help other animals. That’s why I know getting on Rover is a great choice for me!! A little about me is I have been a nurse for ten years, and currently am a charge nurse. I love caring and helping people but I also love caring for animals. My schedule is different every week but I am able to visit anytime I am off. I have two dogs of my own at home. We have a dog park in the neighborhood that is fenced. I am able to be flexible with your animal needs. I can walk and play or just hang out with them. I can crate them before I leave, or give medications. I am overall very flexible and willing to meet your animals needs!

About: I grew up with cats and have helped taken care of my senior cat as well. I also am a volunteer at the local spca I just finished my graduate program at UVA so I have lots of free time to care for and play with your pups and cats!! My Experience: I cared for my own dog, Kirby, for 12 years, taking care of his daily walks, meals, playtime, and everything else that came with being a pet parent. He passed away in 2024, and caring for other people’s pets has been a wonderful way for me to keep animals in my life. Professional Experience: In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve spent over 5 years caring for dogs and cats for friends, family, and clients. I have experience with pets of many different breeds, sizes, and ages, including pets with additional medical, behavioral, and daily-care needs. I typically book weekend only clients due to my work schedule in mental health treatment! For weekend stays I am available to stay full-time at your home to provide daily care for your pets. About: I’ve had experience with many types of animals since I could remember, which could be around 13-14 years. Our family is very animal oriented and it has been for a few generations. My great grandma raised, trained, and did dog shows with many different types of dogs. My grandma has always had animals as well as my mom. This ranges between birds, bunnies/rabbits, snakes, lizards/bearded dragons, birds, dogs, and cats. We almost like them more than people :) Pet care fits into my daily routine including every other weekend for my California king snake and bugs every other day with daily greens/fruits for the bearded dragon. 3 meals a day for the dogs, clean water for all animals, and the cats free feed expect some wet food. I can care for your pets in different ways including, of course, breakfast lunch or dinner, potty time outside on leash or back/front yard, and attention. I can also offer baths, and medication to certain animals if needed.

About: I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up my father an I have rescued/relocated over countless dogs,cats, and other farm or domestic animals. About: First of all, my name is Toni. Rover will only accept legally changed names, and I haven’t gotten there yet. But I’m Toni M. and I started getting involved with pet care because of my mental illness and autism. The stress of life was lowering my ability to function and every job I tried seemed to make it all worse. Enter: Dogs. I decided if I was going to make it I needed to be doing something that gave instead of took from me. Animals have helped bring me back to life in the dark. I’ve worked with puppies and older dogs. I’ve spent significant time with dogs with anxiety issues as well. I tend to connect with dogs who need a little extra love the most anyway. If at all possible I prefer boarding as transitions can be a challenge but I’m usually up for anything the pet needs to feel safe and secure and do a lot of house sitting, too and am more than willing too. I try to keep all homes clean and tidy for the owner’s return. My own home is small, only two usable rooms, but has a large wooded yard and perfect spots for beautiful walks, or throwing a ball and playing fetch in our secluded field if the dog is not an eloper. My dog loved living in this home before he passed as it is quiet and peaceful, and playing ball was his favorite thing in the world. Hit me up if you need some help, as I’m quite passionate about this work and want to be of service. :) ✨ When a pet stays with me we have a routine. Coffee (for me), breakfast, walk. And in the evenings we eat, play, have downtime. I guarantee an hour of exercise a day for your pet as well. I always appreciate a crate just in case but that doesn’t mean I’ll use it. My home is small so if your dog is a big chewer it might not be the perfect fit for boarding unless a crate is available. I’m home almost all day and can monitor animals closely and give plenty of love. I like to play outside with the animals twice a day. Water bowel is always filled and animals are always welcome on my furniture. They’re free to make themselves at home.

I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies who need consistency, potty breaks, playtime, and basic routine reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may need a gentler pace, extra patience, medication support, or additional comfort. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents always know their furry family members are happy and well cared for. I’m able to help out on Monday-Friday or Saturdays and Sundays.
