About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. My sister is a vet at Dominion Animal Hospital so I have immediate access to professional help if needed!
About: I’ve taken care of many pets in the past 7 years like dogs, cats, birds, and have even worked on a farm helping to take care of animals. I am currently in college, so I have some free time that i’d love to spend with different animals. I love playing and taking care of animals and love them to be part of my life. About: I have over 12 years of experience caring for animals. As a former pet owner, I understand the stress that comes with finding someone compatible and dedicated enough to watch over your loved ones while you are away. My clients have been able to rely on me to take great care of their loved ones while they are away. I have experience, with walking, feeding, cleaning, and medicating pets. I have also worked with rescues and difficult to deal with dogs and cats. Please do not worry about the size of your dog, I am very comfortable caring for large dogs as well as small. I have recently graduated from Roanoke college, so I will have plenty of time to play with, care for, and love on your pets while you are away. Seeing your pets happy makes me happy! I am very detail oriented so there is no need to worry about whether your pet has received their medication or if they will escape the house or yard. I always triple check to ensure their needs have been met, from feeding to walking to medication – with the addition of playtime and treats.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with both energetic dogs and senior pets. I currently care for a 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, so I have firsthand experience managing high energy levels, from his puppy years through his senior stage, while also being attentive to the extra care older dogs need. I can balance exercise, routine, and care. In addition, I have two 14 year old cats and experience feeding cats and maintaining clean litter boxes. I also enjoy running and I have experience running with my GSP. I’m currently working at a tax accounting firm in Charlottesville through the end of tax season on April 15, 2026, so my Rover availability is limited until then. Starting April 16, 2026, I’ll be a lot more flexible since my seasonal position ends! I’ll have completely open weekday availability for dog walks, drop-in visits, and checking in on houses or cats. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. About: I am a huge lover of dogs of all kinds, from chihuahua to doberman. I love to play with them all. I have two dogs whom I love with all my heart. My dog Chip is an 80 pound ball of anxiety who is afraid of dogs a fourth of his size. I also have a golden doodle named Huitzi. She is very loving and kind and has been trained to be a therapy dog. I love spending time with both of them and enjoy their unique personalities. I often walk them in the beautiful parks and trails in the Crozet area, and have become good at handling dogs with difficult personalities. About: I have had dogs and cats growing up ever since I was born. I was always the go-to neighbor or friend pet sitter. I love animals deeply and will do everything I can to make you pet feel right at home. It’s a plus for me too to be able to meet your fury friend! I work part time and have a flexible schedule, so I am able to accommodate most people’s availability. I can make most pets schedules work and am open to working morning, afternoon, and evening. I live in a townhome with 3 other pets so I will not be able to accommodate boarding. That being said, I am very interested in doing house sittings and working with the owner to come up with a complete safety plan that fits the animals and their environment.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
