About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. My sister is a vet at Dominion Animal Hospital so I have immediate access to professional help if needed!
About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and have cared for/owned all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to snakes and ferrets. I stay on top of feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any other daily needs, and I always try to give pets plenty of attention so they’re not just being “checked on.” I’m comfortable adjusting to different personalities and energy levels, whether that means playing with a high-energy dog, giving a shy cat space to warm up, or being extra gentle with a senior pet.

Your pet will never be left in an empty and strange house. We spend quality time with our own fur babies, who are always near us during the day, so we can tailor time to anxious dogs. We can manage feeding and walking schedules, which help your fur babies stay in a consistent schedule. We have a fully fenced-in yard (front and back). The front door opens to the fenced-in front yard, so there is no chance of dogs escaping.

I currently care for a 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, so I have firsthand experience managing high energy levels, from his puppy years through his senior stage, while also being attentive to the extra care older dogs need. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed!
