About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with both energetic dogs and senior pets. I currently care for a 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, so I have firsthand experience managing high energy levels, from his puppy years through his senior stage, while also being attentive to the extra care older dogs need. I can balance exercise, routine, and care. In addition, I have two 14 year old cats and experience feeding cats and maintaining clean litter boxes. I also enjoy running and I have experience running with my GSP. I’m currently working at a tax accounting firm in Charlottesville through the end of tax season on April 15, 2026, so my Rover availability is limited until then. Starting April 16, 2026, I’ll be a lot more flexible since my seasonal position ends! I’ll have completely open weekday availability for dog walks, drop-in visits, and checking in on houses or cats. About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. About: I am a huge lover of dogs of all kinds, from chihuahua to doberman. I love to play with them all. I have two dogs whom I love with all my heart. My dog Chip is an 80 pound ball of anxiety who is afraid of dogs a fourth of his size. I also have a golden doodle named Huitzi. She is very loving and kind and has been trained to be a therapy dog. I love spending time with both of them and enjoy their unique personalities. “Jenny was great! This was our first time leaving our dog at someone else’s house for the weekend and I couldn’t be happier than having him stay with Jenny! She was very on top of responding to messages and sent plenty of pictures while we were away. Our dog has not yet learned to be off leash, so she had a great idea to let him roam around and play in the closed off barn with the other dogs. He came super happy and worn out. I highly recommend Jenny!”
