About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. My sister is a vet at Dominion Animal Hospital so I have immediate access to professional help if needed!

About: Hi! My name is Riley and I'm a 21-year-old nursing student originally from South Carolina. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm raising and caring for many different animals, so caretaking has always come naturally to me. As of now, I have 4 dogs back at home and 1 pup currently residing with me. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with all types of animals, my reliability, and how much I truly love caring for them. I understand how important it is to find someone to trust with your pets. I'm very communicative, respectful of each pet's/owner's unique needs, and can confidently handle anything from a laid-back walk to giving medications or handling multiple pets simultaneously. Rover is my full-time job, which allows me to dedicate my full attention to the pets I care for. I am currently a nursing student in my third semester, but I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time to focus completely on your pet’s needs. I live near the college campus, surrounded by hiking trails and parks which is perfect for daily walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of playtime. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, whether it’s relaxing at home, going for walks, playing in the dog park, or exploring nearby trails. In my home, your pet will also have the opportunity to socialize with my own friendly dog, who loves making new pup friends. I always keep a close eye on behavior and health to make sure they are happy and stress-free. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for while you’re away!

About: I grew up with cats and have helped taken care of my senior cat as well. I also am a volunteer at the local spca I just finished my graduate program at UVA so I have lots of free time to care for and play with your pups and cats!! I have lots of experience house sitting as well. My main goal is to take care of your pet and also your home! My hope is that your house looks exactly the same as when you left it!

About: I’ve always had animals in my younger life from cats to dogs, and even though I only have a cat I continue to love dogs. My current housing situation allows me to share dog sitting and caring of his clients dogs (ages 9 months to 14 years) for the last ten years. Since then I have asked my neighbors for tending to the needs of their dogs be it from a 5 mile walk on and off leash to a 100 yard potty break in addition to giving medications. I’m currently working part time three days a week and an occasional Saturday, so I have the time to care and interact for your furry friend. I live in a neighborhood with easy access to the Rivanna trails and a road trip access to a farm with woods in Earlysville for running in fields. I also have a very tolerant cat who actually enjoys dogs staying with me because she’s learned that visiting dogs often get a treat she’s earned one too. My house has hardwood floors on the first floor throughout access to the carpeted lower level is through a door. The dog would have free range of the house while we were at home and unless he/she is accustomed to be crated.

About: I have been dog sitting and walking since I was 15 years old. I love dogs of all sizes, but have most experience with dogs 50+ lbs. I even walk my brothers 140 lb Great Dane! I am currently a stay at home mother to my sweet girl, Willow. We are always looking for ways to get out of the house to go on adventures and stay busy. At this time I am not accepting pets for care in our home. With a baby and two big dogs it would prove pretty difficult!

About: I've taken care of all sorts of all kinds of pets throughout the years and I absolutely adore them. For the past three years I have been walking and providing overnight care for dogs and cats of all breeds, shapes, sizes, ages and personalities. I established my own business with my partner as of last year, Zoomies, and we are licensed and insured, as well certified in providing first aid/cpr, so you can ensure your pet is getting top notch care and is in great, loving hands. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, both large and small. During that time, I’ve cared for puppies, rescue dogs that have been adopted, foster dogs for a short term, and dogs with special considerations: including lower half paralysis and deafness. I love being able to play with dogs whether it be a game of fetch or a wrestle session in the living room. I also like taking dogs for walks and letting them explore with their noses. I’m a full time remote worker with a pretty flexible schedule and very limited travel, so I am around the area consistently. Whether it be an early morning walks or multiple romps around the backyard, I’m always game to keep your dog active. I will provide the best care for pets visiting my home and when I am in their space. I like to get on the dog’s level and let them know I’m a friend before we go for a walk or start playing.
