About: I have been dog sitting and walking since I was 15 years old. I love dogs of all sizes, but have most experience with dogs 50+ lbs. I even walk my brothers 140 lb Great Dane! I am currently a stay at home mother to my sweet girl, Willow. We are always looking for ways to get out of the house to go on adventures and stay busy. About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. About: I’ve always had animals in my younger life from cats to dogs, and even though I only have a cat I continue to love dogs. My current housing situation allows me to share dog sitting and caring of his clients dogs (ages 9 months to 14 years) for the last ten years. Since then I have asked my neighbors for tending to the needs of their dogs be it from a 5 mile walk on and off leash to a 100 yard potty break in addition to giving medications. I’m currently working part time three days a week and an occasional Saturday, so I have the time to care and interact for your furry friend. I live in a neighborhood with easy access to the Rivanna trails and a road trip access to a farm with woods in Earlysville for running in fields. I also have a very tolerant cat who actually enjoys dogs staying with me because she’s learned that visiting dogs often get a treat she’s earned one too. My house has hardwood floors on the first floor throughout access to the carpeted lower level is through a door. The dog would have free range of the house while we were at home and unless he/she is accustomed to be crated.

I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, both large and small. During that time, I’ve cared for puppies, rescue dogs that have been adopted, foster dogs for a short term, and dogs with special considerations: including lower half paralysis and deafness. I love being able to play with dogs whether it be a game of fetch or a wrestle session in the living room. I also like taking dogs for walks and letting them explore with their noses. I’m a full time remote worker with a pretty flexible schedule and very limited travel, so I am around the area consistently. Whether it be an early morning walks or multiple romps around the backyard, I’m always game to keep your dog active. I will provide the best care for pets visiting my home and when I am in their space. I like to get on the dog’s level and let them know I’m a friend before we go for a walk or start playing.
