About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with both energetic dogs and senior pets. I currently care for a 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, so I have firsthand experience managing high energy levels, from his puppy years through his senior stage, while also being attentive to the extra care older dogs need. I can balance exercise, routine, and care. In addition, I have two 14 year old cats and experience feeding cats and maintaining clean litter boxes. I also enjoy running and I have experience running with my GSP. I’m currently working at a tax accounting firm in Charlottesville through the end of tax season on April 15, 2026, so my Rover availability is limited until then. Starting April 16, 2026, I’ll be a lot more flexible since my seasonal position ends! I’ll have completely open weekday availability for dog walks, drop-in visits, and checking in on houses or cats. About: I am a huge lover of dogs of all kinds, from chihuahua to doberman. I love to play with them all. I have two dogs whom I love with all my heart. My dog Chip is an 80 pound ball of anxiety who is afraid of dogs a fourth of his size. I also have a golden doodle named Huitzi. She is very loving and kind and has been trained to be a therapy dog. About: Animals have always been a major part of my life. I have experience with grooming, bathing & boarding animals during my college days. Animals sense the kindness & goodwill in my heart. I was recently told, "I have never seen my cat allow anyone to pick her up." I also briefly fostered a German Shepherd at a local kennel. She only allowed me to be around her. We are fairly new pup parents and she offered some great advice for some good training techniques to try with Dot. Amy sent us pictures and videos of Dot having a wonderful time! Amy’s property is gorgeous! If I was a dog I would want to go to Miss Amy’s! So very grateful for her and her love for animals. We are so excited we found her and will be continuing care for Dot with her.”

“Jenny was terrific especially as she was challenged by my 70 lb lab grand-dog who got into everything, including some horse feed. She seemed to take it all in stride, the dogs seemed happy and all was well. I didn't realize how many dogs would be together that weekend; a good thing to ask if it matters to you.
