About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies who need consistency, potty breaks, playtime, and basic routine reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may need a gentler pace, extra patience, medication support, or additional comfort. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents always know their furry family members are happy and well cared for. I’m able to help out on Monday-Friday or Saturdays and Sundays. I do not accept boarding as my currently home is renting.

About: I've been a pet caretaker since I was 12. Dogs quickly connect with me for play, walking and companionship- just like you were there too. I have a very flexible schedule with my JMU classes this semester so I have lots of available time to spend with your fur baby. I am currently home for summer! I am very comfortable using any style leash for walking and using crates. My time with your fur baby will focus on play, fun and comfort

About: I have had a dog my whole life. After my old family dog passed I decided it was time to get a puppy. After months of working closely with my pup she has succeeded in recall, leash walking, show tricks and more! She is great with other dogs and would love to hangout with your pup! I am home for the summer from college with no other interfering work plans so your dog will be at the top of my list every day!! I am always alert of other dogs around, I stay away from the street, I always have a plan so you’ll know where I am and when I’ll be back with your furry friend

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for my whole life. I started my professional animal care working as a farmhand, caring for horses dogs and cats from a young age. I have been a veterinary assistant for 4+ years and am comfortable medicating our furry friends. I've previously trained a deaf puppy for a neighbor. By the end of our time working together the dog had confidently learned sit, lie down, rollover and fetch via hand cues. I'm happy to discuss my availability with you to see if I could potentially be a good fit for your situation. My work schedule is Tuesday - Saturday. I enjoy spending time with the animals I care for. I will make sure any medication are given as prescribed, play with them, brush them as needed or requested. About: I’ve taken care of our family’s animals since I was very young — including cats, dogs, hamsters, hermit crabs, fish. About: Hi there! I am a bunny lover of 3 years now and I recently graduated college, so I have a lot more time now to care for more pups. I’ve always loved fur babies, but unfortunately couldn’t get one bigger than my Shego. I am hoping to build fun and loving relationships with some fur babies! I currently work the evening shift during the week. With this schedule I am available Monday-Friday before 1pm and all day on Saturday and Sunday! I am very playful and extroverted so I will love as much play time and cuddles as possible. I am also athletic so walks and runs with your baby will be perfect!

About: I am an animal lover, from cats and dogs, to rabbits and gerbils! I have two dogs of my own who I love to look after and spend time with. My house is on 2.5 acres, but also has a smaller gated area just for the dogs so the little ones don’t escape through the larger fence. Although, if you have a big dog, the larger backyard area is entirely fenced in- the large yard is perfect to play in! The house also has a separate pet area inside, but, for the most part, the dogs will be in the house with me. My family and I keep a clean home and do not smoke, so your pet(s) will remain safe and healthy in my environment!
