About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

About: What sets me apart is the level of love, patience, and personalized care I give every pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies who need consistency, potty breaks, playtime, and basic routine reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may need a gentler pace, extra patience, medication support, or additional comfort. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents always know their furry family members are happy and well cared for. I’m able to help out on Monday-Friday or Saturdays and Sundays. Let me know what fits your needs and I will be more then happy to accommodate! I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Especially in their own home. I do not accept boarding as my currently home is renting.

About: I am comfortable with all kinds of dogs and needs. I personally care for a GSD and a Heeler mix, and am comfortable with rambunctious and large dogs. Both of my dogs practice loose leash walking, and I love using our walks as time to tire their brains as well as their bodies. I can give medications, including subq and other injections. And I’m working on becoming a certified trainer, but for now I do not offer training services. I work a few part time gigs that change with the seasons. I have lots of flexibility to meet the needs of your pets. I generally do not go out of town during major holidays. I have lived on estates as a property manager, and ran my own home repair business for several years. I’m good at handling emergencies, and enjoy fixing things when I have the opportunity

About: Professional, experienced, loving, care for your pets and livestock at your home or farm, large and small, indoor and out. Customized service to fit you and your pets' needs. Home checks, extended visits and overnight stays are available. I have pets of my own. I have house sat for family friends and filled in for people at horse farms when they are out of town. About: I’ve always had animals growing up. My family bred Saint Bernards, so I have experience with animals of all sizes and ages. I loved helping take care of them, but have been unable since I moved for college. I am really excited to meet your pets. I’m currently working part-time with a very flexible job. I can do anytime as long as I have about a weeks notice prior. Thank you! I have a fenced in court-yard and currently have no pets, so your pet is my number 1 priority. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of space for your animals!

About: I've been around pets my entire life and have always grown up in a home with multiple dogs and cats alike. Whenever I'm home, I'm the primary caregiver, helping with feeding, walks, exercise, playtime, grooming, and making sure they're happy and comfortable. I've also cared for friends' dogs and cats through drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays while they were away. As a college athlete, I know how important consistency and responsibility are, and I'll care for your dog with the same attention and love I give my own. I'm currently a full-time student completing my coursework online while training as a collegiate swimmer and track athlete. My practice schedule varies throughout the year, but outside of practice I have a flexible schedule and can provide dependable care. I always communicate my availability clearly and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. When I'm with your pet, they'll receive my full attention and plenty of exercise, affection, and care. At this time I provide care in my clients' homes, where pets are most comfortable and can stay in their normal routines. I understand how important consistency is for animals, so I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any house rules you provide. About: I am an animal lover that routinely volunteers with shelters and fostering agencies! I believe every pet deserves a home and will treat your pet like they are a member my home. I know having a pet is like having a child, and I strive to stay flexible and adapt to your pets needs!! I currently work full time and volunteer at shelters on select weekends! I am away from my family dog and would love to spend quality time with your pet as I miss my dog so much! Drop in visits are always fun for me as I know dogs are most comfortable at home. About: I have had a dog my whole life. After my old family dog passed I decided it was time to get a puppy. After months of working closely with my pup she has succeeded in recall, leash walking, show tricks and more! She is great with other dogs and would love to hangout with your pup! I am home for the summer from college with no other interfering work plans so your dog will be at the top of my list every day!! I am always alert of other dogs around, I stay away from the street, I always have a plan so you’ll know where I am and when I’ll be back with your furry friend

About: I grow up in a farm and that gave me large experience taking care of all kind of animals, I have had different kind of dogs breed as owner and care giver. Right now I have a 2 acres property where the dogs can run and play all day long. Im at home full time so I can take care of your dogs necessities. I'm patient, I like to play with them, and I like to treat them as my own dog. I consider dogs, cats or any other animal, not only as pets, they are part of our families and deserve care, love and respect. I can provide comfort, exercises, play time, rest time and bath if necessary. I also accept puppies or seniors. I can take care of your furry babies as long as you need it.

About: I have worked with several different breeds, and personalities of dogs. I also have experience with older dogs and being sensitive to their needs as they age. Providing a calm and reasurring presence to my canine friends, whether they are excited to see me or feeling a little stressed with their owner gone. I try to give my animal companions the best quality of life possible for them. I really love what I do. I currently work part time so I am able to give lots of time spending with furry friends. Animal care has become part of my daily routine and I couldn't imagine life with out it. In others homes I keep the enviorment low key and peaceful so as not disrupt them. I try to keep them on a regular schedule so they know what to expect and can relax a bit more.

I am respectful of your spaces if I were to dog sit, but live in an apartment so can not offer pet boarding long-term.
