About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I work remote so I can always be available for your little buddy! I’m a medical student, so I will have to be gone a few hours in the morning, but after that I can cater to any of your animals needs. I get up around 7 AM and head to get around 11:30. I always take frequent breaks throughout the day to stretch my legs and get some sun. Whatever you need, I’ll make sure your pet is well loved and appreciated! My house is always very clean and very spacious. I also live right next to a park and go for walks by myself regularly. Whenever I watch my friends animals, I bring my own food and activities and leave the place better than I found it.

About: Please note we are in Troy near Zions Crossroads (about 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and 15 minutes from Lake Monticello). Hi, my name is Katina. I have been caring for dogs as long as I can remember. My earliest memories include setting up agility courses for my german shepherd in my backyard. To say I have a passion for dogs is an understatement. I recently quit my job to pursue dog boarding full time and I could not be more excited to spend all day with your pup(s)! We spend lots of time on play, exercise and enrichment. Our yard is set up similar to a dog park meaning we have two separate fenced areas for dogs comfort. We have one small fenced area (4ft fence) to accommodate small, elderly, timid and handicapped pups as well as a large dog park sized fenced area to accommodate more playful mid sized pups (6ft fence). We also have a whole home generator for added peace of mind. When the weather is nice we like to spend a lot of time outdoors Health and safety is our top priority. We have a zero tolerance policy for aggression. If your dog shows signs of aggression during their stay they will be quarantined for the remainder of the stay and not accepted back. In order to board with us your dog must be friendly with EVERYONE this includes children (even though none are present in the home, they do come and visit), the elderly, cats and other dogs. Please provide proof of rabies vaccination (I need a copy of the in date certificate that is signed by your veterinarian). Please ensure your dog(s) are free from fleas ticks and intestinal parasites. Our storage space is limited so please only bring food (put food in ziplock bag and write pets name on the bag) , medications/supplements, and a leash. We will provide toys, treats, bowls (we have a variety of sizes both regular and slow feeder), crates if your dog needs one and plush bedding. Please ALWAYS pack extra food. We will not be able to fulfill requests to withhold water from your dog, so if this is something you require please choose another sitter. Please provide an emergency contact who is willing to pickup your dog(s) in case of emergency. Drop-offs/Pick-ups are between 8A-8P by appointment only. Please keep pickup/drop off timeframes to a 30 minute window. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve had big and small dogs. I currently have two small Morkies, Pickle and Penny. Pickle requires a special diet and pills to be given daily. Penny loves to be close and cuddle. My parents dogs is a black lab who over the past few years I’ve helped take care of. She has Addison disease and requires medication daily. She also needs a special routine to help keep her from getting overwhelmed. I’ve also had cats throughout my whole life and frequently had to give medications to my last cat Tilly. I really am looking forward to an opportunity to help be involved in your pets life. Whether it’s for a short walk, a play in the park, or just cuddles. I can’t have cats or other dogs because my wife is allergic to them. I’ve recently moved away from my family and looking to be able to still be able help other animals. That’s why I know getting on Rover is a great choice for me!! A little about me is I have been a nurse for ten years, and currently am a charge nurse. I love caring and helping people but I also love caring for animals. My schedule is different every week but I am able to visit anytime I am off. I have two dogs of my own at home. We have a dog park in the neighborhood that is fenced. I am able to be flexible with your animal needs. I can walk and play or just hang out with them. I can crate them before I leave, or give medications. I am overall very flexible and willing to meet your animals needs!
About: I have worked with several different breeds, and personalities of dogs. I also have experience with older dogs and being sensitive to their needs as they age. Providing a calm and reasurring presence to my canine friends, whether they are excited to see me or feeling a little stressed with their owner gone. I try to give my animal companions the best quality of life possible for them. I really love what I do. I currently work part time so I am able to give lots of time spending with furry friends. Animal care has become part of my daily routine and I couldn't imagine life with out it. In others homes I keep the enviorment low key and peaceful so as not disrupt them. I try to keep them on a regular schedule so they know what to expect and can relax a bit more.

About: I love animals! I believe your fur baby is more than just a pet, they are a member of your family. I have cared for pets belonging to family, friends, and employers for years, and I will always treat them with love and care. I currently work full time Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. My only available time to assist with pets throughout the work week would be after 5pm. I am very flexible on weekends! I unfortunately will not have the room to care for pets in home yet. However, I can care for pets at your home. I will make sure your dog or cat has all the love and attention it needs and go above and beyond on making sure your pet feels comfortable and happy.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. I am generous with my love with pets if they want that. If they are shy I will absolutely listen to what they need and let them warm up to me at their own pace. I am clean and respectful of others’ space and strive to make sure your sweet pup gets the activities they deserve.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. I am a big animal lover so your pet would be in good hands. They will get a lot of attention, exercise, and love. I am fully able to take care of your pet 7 days a week and all daytime hours. I am available from 6am to 10pm. I can provide a leash if needed and walk only on sidewalks, paths, trails or take them to a nearby park. Safety is my highest priority.
About: I am a certified professional dog trainer with a degree in veterinary technology. I have been working with dogs for about 11 years now, including dog daycares, boarding facilities, in home dog sitting, and now a professional dog trainer. My training ranges from puppies to semi-aggressive dogs, and pretty much everything in between! All of this info meaning I’m comfortable with a large range of dogs and behaviors, and your dogs will be in good hands! I currently do not have a full time job so my days will be tailored to the pets I care for and taking care of them, and your home. I treat my clients dogs as if they were my own. They obviously receive basic care, but they will get lots of love and cuddles while you are away. Walks and enrichment activities are always provided if you request them!

About: I have my associates degree in animal sciences and have been tending to animals of all kinds since I was very young. I have experience with farms along with typical house pets. I am a stay at home mom who loves to spend her days loving on animals and enjoying nature. We go on walks and enjoy each others company! I have 1 dog at home, which can be kept separate from other pets. I have an indoor/ outdoor cat. I have an extra large crate for those in need. I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
