About: Hi, I’m Nadia, and welcome to my Woodland Paws Retreat! Woodland Paws Retreat is my home-based dog boarding business, located on five beautiful wooded acres in a peaceful country setting in Schuyler, Virginia. I proudly serve families in Charlottesville, Crozet, Scottsville, and the surrounding areas. Our spacious, natural surroundings are wonderful for dogs who enjoy fresh air, exploring, walking, running, playing, and simply relaxing in a peaceful environment. Whether your dog is playful or calm, young or senior, confident or a little shy, every dog is welcomed here with love, patience, and personalized attention. I love welcoming dogs into our home and making them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while they are away from their families. My priority is not only their safety, but also making sure they feel at home and enjoy their stay. When your best friend is in my care, you can relax knowing they are being treated like part of our family. I am currently working from home, so my schedule is flexible, and I have enough time to enjoy taking care of your furry friends giving them love, attention, providing exercise, and tailor each dog unique needs. Our home is surrounded by five beautiful wooded acres, creating a peaceful and private retreat where dogs can enjoy fresh air, exercise, and time in nature. We have plenty of space for dogs to play and exercise, including a large fenced area and a spacious fenced backyard deck. One of the favorite spots at our retreat is our screened balcony overlooking the woods. Dogs love relaxing there, watching birds and wildlife, enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and simply observe everything happening around them. Inside our home, there is plenty of comfortable space to play, relax, and spend time with us. Some of our guests even enjoy watching Dog TV while keeping us company. Most importantly, every dog receives plenty of individual attention, love, and supervision. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a beloved family member, and I truly appreciate the trust you place in me. My goal is for you to travel with complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: I have my associates degree in animal sciences and have been tending to animals of all kinds since I was very young. I have experience with farms along with typical house pets. I am a stay at home mom who loves to spend her days loving on animals and enjoying nature. We go on walks and enjoy each others company! I have 1 dog at home, which can be kept separate from other pets. I have an indoor/ outdoor cat. I have an extra large crate for those in need. I have a spacious yard, and leashes for those who need them.

About: I am part owner of a dog training business and have dog trainers on premises. I’ve had dogs in my life since I can remember. I believe dogs are the best medicine for anyone. I limit myself to only a few dogs at a time so that I can ensure each pup gets all the love, attention and care they need while their owners are away. I am a remote worker, so I am home nearly 24/7 so your pup will be well cared for and treated as though a member of the family while staying with me. I cater to what each dogs needs. Your dog will never be left alone unattended while staying with me. I have 6 acres so there is plenty of opportunity to explore.

About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. My sister is a vet at Dominion Animal Hospital so I have immediate access to professional help if needed!

About: Hi! I’m Ashley! 🐾 I’m a small-business owner, but I only work two days a week during normal business hours. The rest of the week, I’m a stay-at-home mom to my toddler, so I’m home most of the time and able to give your pup plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and love! I offer both dog boarding and daycare, and I only take ONE client dog at a time. This allows me to give your dog individualized attention rather than having a house full of unfamiliar dogs. Our home is very pet-friendly. We have: •One 6-year-old pit mix who is part of our family •Three indoor/outdoor cats who are comfortable around dogs •A toddler, so dogs must be comfortable and safe around small children •A fully fenced yard with a doggy door I’m happy to accept dogs of all ages and sizes, including puppies and senior dogs. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs who need medications or additional attention. Our sweet 15-year-old beagle, Cletis, who you may see in my profile picture, recently passed away, so I’m very familiar with the extra care that comes with senior dogs, including medications and keeping up with their individual routines. I also have plenty of experience with hounds and their famously adventurous, escape-artist personalities! The one important requirement is that your dog must be comfortable being crated. On the two days I work, your dog may be crated for up to 8 hours while I’m away. The rest of the week, I’m home with my toddler and your pup will have lots of companionship and attention. For everyone’s safety and comfort, dogs staying with us need to: • Be comfortable around small children • Be comfortable around cats • Be able to safely stay in a crate for up to 8 hours when necessary • Be comfortable in a home with another dog • Be house-trained or actively working on it I want your dog to feel like they’re staying in a home, not a kennel. I’ll treat your pup like one of our own, keep you updated with pictures and messages, and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and time outside. About: I have grown up with my family’s Golden Retriever. My husband and I also have a Golden Retriever. I have also fostered and taken care of a few dogs from the SPCA to give them a break from the shelter. I have helped watch friends and family dogs while they are away. My husband and I am available all throughout the week to give your dog all the attention it needs. My husband works from home so your dog will have company throughout the day. We have a fenced in yard that we can let your dog out to run around with our Golden Retriever. We will also take them on nice walks around our neighborhood and on the trail by our house. My husband works from home so your pet will have companionship throughout the day. We also have a fenced in backyard for your dog and our 3 year old golden retriever to run around in. We also have multiple bedrooms if they need extra room to relax.
