“Danielle was great! She was able to pill one of our three cats who needed medicine while we were away, and took some extra time to socialize with him so he was a lot calmer. She gave lots of attention to one of our other, very sociable cats. We would definitely use her again!”

“Amy was great! The cats quickly warmed up to her, and we were very surprised to see our shy cat come out of her shell for Amy. We will certainly be using her services again!”

“Jessica did such a great job with Luci, who is not always the friendliest/most outgoing cat! She was extremely responsive, attentive, and spent quality time with Luci. and I appreciate it so much! Would not hesitate to book again.”

“Emily is the BEST! This was my first time using Rover and Emily popped up first. Which I’m so happy I clicked on her. She has helped me learn more about my Lucy. I can’t wait to book again!”
“Mitch was WONDERFUL. He took great care of my cat while I was on vacation. He was attentive & very thorough. He went above & beyond my expectations. Definitely will be using his services again in the future.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. I have two cats of my own, and I enjoy dog and cat sitting just as much as spending time with my own pets. Since I love going on long walks, I’m the perfect match for dogs who need some exercise. Whether it's a walk, a check in, or overnight, I will make sure your pets get all the love and care they need! I currently work close to full time, but I still have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to other responsibilities. My days are always free until 4pm, and I’m also available later in the evenings. In addition, I’m off every Sunday, which allows me even more time! I will care for your pets with the same love and compassion I give my own. I'm responsible and dependable, and my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Katelyn was wonderful! She was very communicative and made sure my cat felt cared for while away. He is a bit high maintenance and she was very easy going about some of his behaviors. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.
About: With 17 years of pet sitting and dog walking experience, I provide thoughtful, individualized care for dogs who thrive on routine as well as those ready to build confidence and try something new. I’m experienced working with reactive dogs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and reading each dog’s unique cues. Whether your pup needs structured, dependable walks or gentle support working toward behavioral goals, or just wants to get their wiggles out on a new adventure, I tailor each visit to fit their needs. I’m also happy to include a simple “report card” to track progress, celebrate wins, and keep you updated every step of the way. I am currently available for before and after work walks Tuesday - Saturday, as well as flexible hours Sunday - Monday. I also offer late night hours (8-11pm) for those working a late shift, or just wanting to enjoy a stress-free night out! In your home I will follow instructions closely, maintaining a consistent routine with your furry friends feeding schedule, bathroom breaks, medications, and other care. During visits I make sure pet's aren't just receiving basic care, but also attention, enrichment, and stimulation at their pace and comfort level. I clean up after myself and keep your house tidy and secure during my stay. I am also happy to provide consistent photos and notes so you feel connected and in-the-know!
About: I grew up with several pets and frequently cared for friends and family members pets as well! I treat pets like family and think they deserve nothing but the best! I have a flexible full time job, so I am open to dog walking at various times throughout the day/week. With enough time in advanced, I’d love to dog sit for longer periods of time or even over night. I will follow any specific guidance you may have for your pet. My standards are to treat pets like family, with the respect, love, and attention they deserve! Proper nutrition and clean water is always a priority. Play time and affection will not be limited!
“Nathan was so helpful! He was willing to fit me in last minute. He replied quickly to messages and even called from the house to make sure he took care of everything I needed.”
“Abigail was amazing with my cat Felix. He took to her very quickly and she was there every day to make sure he had fresh food and water. She also got in some play time with him, which I was very appreciative of. She was very responsive and always sent pics. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have rarely had a moment in my life where I wasn’t caring for an animal. I grew up with parrots, chickens, big dogs, rabbits and fish - I can handle almost anything! My partner and I recently lost our sweet dog after 12 wonderful years with her, so I have plenty of space, time and love to share with your pet. I now have a Great Dan mix named Monty who is crated when we are not home, he is fully vaccinated and great with other dogs. I currently work 4 days a week in the office and one day working from home. When I’m not working I enjoy running, walking or yoga. I am very tidy and great at following directions in your home. My preference if I am house sitting during the week is to be able to leave your dog home alone for at least 8hrs so I can go to and from work.
About: I've been a pet caretaker since I was 12. Dogs quickly connect with me for play, walking and companionship- just like you were there too. I have a very flexible schedule with my JMU classes this semester so I have lots of available time to spend with your fur baby. I am very comfortable using any style leash for walking and using crates. My time with your fur baby will focus on play, fun and comfort
“Mary was great with our cat Monty! She was very communicative and spent lots of time with him over the 7 days she sat for us. The house was immaculate when we got back. Would 100% recommend her”
