About: Starting at seven years old, I walked local dogs near my father's work place. All the while learning from my cousins who were cattle dog trainers. In high school I worked three years as a dog groomer, where our clientele was mostly elderly dogs with occasional show dogs. Throughout 2024 I worked at a sheep farm/dog boarding barn where I worked with guardian dogs and tended to the boarded dogs. Aside from tending to cattle, my primary job at that farm was feeding the dogs, stall picking and assisting with occasional medical care for injured guardian dogs. I'm currently working as an independent artist from home while also taking care of our own pup. My schedule is relatively flexible though is arranged around dog care. I structure my day to ensure our dog gets from 3-5 good walks a day as well as a half hour for zoomies. At our home, we use the rule of "up for one down for two". Meaning that dogs will get an hour of walking, running, or playing at a time and then down time for about two hours. Crate training is essential in our home for overnight stays. Care at the client's home will depend on the client's daily rituals that they've established with their dog.
“Abigail was amazing with my cat Felix. He took to her very quickly and she was there every day to make sure he had fresh food and water. She also got in some play time with him, which I was very appreciative of. She was very responsive and always sent pics. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.
“Briana was wonderful! She made sure my cats were well taken care of while I was away. She was fantastic with communication and made sure to ask questions when needed. She gave me frequent detailed updates on them, including lots of pictures! I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future 🐈🐈⬛❤️”

“Emily is excellent pet sitter. I will use her again. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants someone who will not only take care of their pets while they are away, ensuring they have food and water, but will get down on her hands and knees to connect with them, play with them, and have fun with them. Emily took care of my two kitties for a little over two weeks, dropping in to see them in my home, maintaining their routines, doting on them, and sending me pictures and reports each day about their antics. One of my kitties, Li'l Lulu, can be very particular and be quite standoffish and ornery if I am not doing things EXACTLY the way she wants them done, WHEN she wants them done. She's especially that way with strangers. Yet Lil'l Lulu came right up to Emily the first time they met -- knowing immediately that Emily was a person she could trust -- and, while I was away, she let Emily place her on her lap to clean her ears, purring the whole time. Emily told me when we met that she became a pet sitter because she loves animals, likes spending time with them, and sees pet sitting as a career, as something she wants to do, not as a fill-in job to make ends meet or until something better comes along. Animals sense that ... and it showed through in the way she took care of my kitties ... just like they were her own.”

“Jessica was wonderful caring for our new kitten! Will definitely ask her to help again. She did everything I asked, was respectful of my home, communicated very well, and the kitten loved her! Thank you, Jessica!”

“Katelyn was wonderful! She was very communicative and made sure my cat felt cared for while away. He is a bit high maintenance and she was very easy going about some of his behaviors. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again!”

About: I love caring for other people’s animals like they are my own. I was the go to carer for my roommates and friends animals for a long time before I got my own dog, an energetic hound mix. I am used to high energy animals that need lots of attention and exercise! I have a very flexible schedule as I am currently writing my dissertation and have no in person work commitments. I can work around your schedule to ensure your pets’ needs are met. I am happy to meet your pets’ needs, whatever that means for you. If they require longer walks that is fine, fetch in a fenced yard, or play inside, I am happy to accommodate whatever they need.
“Hannah was professional and thorough, taking.great care of my cats! She sent many pictures and notes about how they were doing, and left the house neater than she found it!”

“I had an emergency and had to return from my trip early early. Not only did Ashleigh take excellent care of my cat Ralph, she was extremely helpful and understanding of the cancellation. I would definitely recommend her for drop-in cat care!”

“Nathan was so helpful! He was willing to fit me in last minute. He replied quickly to messages and even called from the house to make sure he took care of everything I needed.”
About: I grew up with all sorts of cats and dogs, from yorkies to french mastiffs to senior cats. I currently have a 20 year old cat, so I’m familiar with giving medication as well. Previously, I’ve worked as a teacher, nanny, house manager, and personal assistant. I come with references and I’m happy to do meet & greets. I’m looking forward to meeting your family! I have wide availability this semester so I’m available to take care of pets for large portions of the day, so I’m very much available for drop ins or to spend more time with your furry friend if they need it. I love to go on a morning or evening stroll so taking dogs out for a walk is a perfect addition to my day. I’m big on communication and I’ll be sure to ask a lot of questions during the meet and greet so that we can all have a smooth experience. I like to do drop-in tasks like feed/water/walk and then spend some time playing together, depending on the pet’s ability to play. My goal is to keep them from missing you too badly! I have tons of pet experience so I know all the tricks for making sure pets don’t run out of doors when entering and exiting, and I know what signs to look for if a pet is sick and needs emergency care.
“Kathryn takes excellent care of our two cats. She is attentive and communicative. She provides detailed updates with adorable pictures of our cats. We will definitely have Kathryn again and highly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter!”
