“Jessica was very reliable. Each day I received pictures of Luna and information about the visit. She was able to stay an extra day when asked. I I’ll definitely ask Jessica to care for Luna again.”

“Tessa's been great to work with and have her check in on my cats! She's communicative throughout the process and you can definitely tell that she cares about your pets. You and your pets are in great care when you book with Tessa!”

“Madelyn was an absolutely wonderful sitter for my cat, Yuki! 🐾 She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated throughout my trip, which gave me total peace of mind. I came home to a very happy and well-cared-for kitty, and the house was just as I left it. I’d highly recommend Madelyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!”

“Abigail did a great job taking care of our cat, Cleo, while we were out of town for a few days. Cleo is typically a very shy kitty, but she warmed right up to Abigail, judging by the pictures she sent of them playing together. She was also sweet enough to check up on our guinea pig as well. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely rebook the next time we're away!”

About: I have 2 cats of my own and have lived with more cats in the past. I love working with cats' unique personalities to find the best level and type of affection and play for them! I am a grad student and have a lot of availability, especially Thurs - Sun and on holidays! But I can also be super flexible I love making sure cats are feeling comfortable and happy. I pay a lot of attention to any signs of discomfort, boredom, or desire to change the type of petting or play! I keep litter boxes and food/water bowls clean
“Hannah helped my little family out tremendously when she agreed to help with our diabetic cat, Jasper, last minute. She was quick to respond and detailed in her communication with us. Although our cat was difficult and afraid, she was still able to administer his insulin injection and make sure he ate food with it. This was thanks to her training and experience with scared animals.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.
“Julia did such a wonderful job with our two kitties! She sent lots of photos every day and kept us updated on everything. We came home to a clean place and happy kitties. We love that she also really prioritized play time with the cats each day. Will definitely be booking her again!”

“My cat Felix loved Antonia’s drop in visits. He seemed super happy and enjoyed the playtime. You always hate to leave your pets when traveling, but it’s nice to have such an amazing sitter be able to make sure your pet is well cared for.”

About: I grew up on an exotic animal ranch surrounded by every kind of pet imaginable. Interacting and caring for animals is second nature to me. I work remotely and set my own schedule so travel or overnight stays are not a problem, also makes me flexable for short notice requests within reason. I can do anything from a quick safety check or lap around the block to sleeping on the floor with them during a thunder storm and everything in between.
About: I have taken care of animals big and small, and of all ages, for at least 10 years on my own. I started caring for family animals alone when I was 12 and then have moved to caring for neighborhood and friends’ animals for years now as well. I work a food service job but work 9 hours a day at the most, on average 5-8 hours per day, 5 days a week. I am able to care for animals during any hours in which I am not working. I have experience doing both live-in animal care and also multiple visits per day animal care. I have experience administering and tracking pet medications and various meal plans, whatever your pet needs I am more than happy to provide!
About: I have taken care of family member's cats for the past two years and finally have a cat of my own! I understand that trusting a stranger to take care of your child is huge, but I will be treating your cat like my own child. I am currently an UVA third year so working around class is a must. I aim for clear communication of time management around schedules and availability. My cat is very loved, with two meals a day, clean water, playtimes, cuddles, and daily cleaned litterbox. I will treat your cat the same!
