“Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

About: I am comfortable with all kinds of dogs and needs. I personally care for a GSD and a Heeler mix, and am comfortable with rambunctious and large dogs. Both of my dogs practice loose leash walking, and I love using our walks as time to tire their brains as well as their bodies. I can give medications, including subq and other injections. And I’m working on becoming a certified trainer, but for now I do not offer training services. I work a few part time gigs that change with the seasons. I have lots of flexibility to meet the needs of your pets. I generally do not go out of town during major holidays. I have lived on estates as a property manager, and ran my own home repair business for several years. I’m good at handling emergencies, and enjoy fixing things when I have the opportunity

“Tina was so wonderful! I was a bit nervous going in as this was the first time I was leaving my 8 month old puppy with someone that I did not know. We set up a meet and greet during which my pup, Maizy displayed some anxiety, but Tina was not deterred. She knew Maizy needed to warm up at her pace and she got some treats right away to help build up some trust! She sent pictures and really helped me feel at ease that Maizy was well cared for! There was even a storm that rolled by which Maizy is terrified of thunder and Tina helped her feel safe! I would definitely book with her again should we need it!”

About: I love all types of dogs, especially the big ones (and puppies too!) I have had dogs all my life and am not afraid to care for any type of breed. I have experience with bird dogs with high energy. We currently have a bloodhound name Daisy, who is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs and animals! About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

I plan my days around making sure pets are cared for, whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just giving them attention and companionship. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to consistently show up for check-ins, walks, or overnight stays without feeling rushed. I’m used to structuring my day around animals’ needs, so adding additional pets into my routine feels very seamless. I make it a priority to stick to each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, because I know consistency is important for their comfort and well-being. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday visits, or evening care, I’m happy to accommodate what works best for you and your pet. I provide care directly in my client’s home to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. During each visit, I follow all instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medication, playtime, and any special care needs. I make sure pets are safe, well-exercised, and given plenty of attention and affection while their owners are away. I also pay attention to keeping the home tidy and secure—cleaning up after pets as needed, refreshing water, and making sure doors and gates are properly closed. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet and entering your home, so I prioritize reliability, respect, and clear communication with regular updates.
About: I will walk, bathe, and feed your precious loves. I will make sure your babies are loved and cared for. If you don’t like something for your animals, I won’t do it. Willing to negotiate if you have multiple dogs , or cats if you have cats. I will make sure your lovely animals are happy and well taken care of while under my supervision and care. I don’t allow animals on my bed but they are allowed on my futon, if you may have special ways of taking care of them I will make sure they are taken care of the way you want them to be! I love animals and want them happy! Willing to travel and stay at your home with your animals if that’s what you’re more comfortable with! I’m currently not working, so my time and attention is 100% on your loved animals. I will make sure your baby is loved and taken care of. I have an unfenced yard but i do have a leash & a dog cable so i can have your dog outside getting some sun and enjoying the weather. I have 1 dog that can keep your dog company!
About: I have worked with several different breeds, and personalities of dogs. I also have experience with older dogs and being sensitive to their needs as they age. Providing a calm and reasurring presence to my canine friends, whether they are excited to see me or feeling a little stressed with their owner gone. I try to give my animal companions the best quality of life possible for them. I really love what I do. I currently work part time so I am able to give lots of time spending with furry friends. About: I currently have a 12 year old chihuahua that I’ve had since 9th grade. Growing up my mother would take in rescues and find them homes if they did not get along with my chihuahua. My mother also cleaned houses for a living and I would go along and help her, while also helping her pet sit for those same clients. “Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
