About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.
5. Lindy P.
“Lindy was great with my cat! She was so conscientious and came up with great ideas to make my cat (thereby me) happier. She was great about keeping in contact with me each and every day, sending photos of my baby. I knew she was in great hands.”
6. Molly R.
“Great communicator! Thanks for letting out our pup!”
7. Brielle E.
“Brielle was absolutely amazing. I was away for a week and she came in to do drop in visits with my 3 cats, stayed and played with them, sent photos, even kept the mats in order, as one of my cats now has an inflammatory condition and pees outside the litter box almost daily. Will definitely use her again for both short and long trips.”
8. Livia M.
“Livia is a fantastic kitty sitter and all around great human. She is timely, caring, and a great communicator. Livia also goes above and beyond. She scrubbed out unexpectedly stinky litter boxes, brought in mail that I forgot to pause, and sent occasional funny videos of my kitties playing. I highly recommend her to others, but only if you’re in need of the best of the best.”
9. Jessica S.
“Jessica was wonderful caring for our new kitten! Will definitely ask her to help again. She did everything I asked, was respectful of my home, communicated very well, and the kitten loved her! Thank you, Jessica!”

About: I love pets and I love walking! Combing the two is perfect for me! I also know that every pet is different and unique and all have their own needs. But I am known to be patient and willing to try new things! I do have an 8am to 5pm work schedule, but I always have energy and time afterwards to walk some pups or even to just hang out with pets! I always sent cute pictures to my clients and let them know immediately if anything is strange. I also have a dog cover/hammock in my car if we ever need to travel to a nearby park.

About: I have been around dogs all my life, and have learned how to properly train them through experience and good mentors. I also have watched much of The Dog Whisperer & other training videos online. I’ve seen critiques of Cesar Milan, with people saying he’s unnecessarily enforcing dominance roles; I only support dominance hierarchies to the extent that it helps the dog. If a dog believes they must be in control because they don’t have a good leader, they will be more stressed out which is unfair to the dog. I will never be unnecessarily rough with your pet, but I may do exercises like leash training to remind them that I am in control, and they don’t need to be in extreme protector mode. I have used this experience with success on friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs, as well as my own. He sits for over a minute until I tell him to Come, for example. Our housemate had a dying dog and I was there alongside him helping her care for him until his last moments. I also believe in reincarnation which helps me really see and have extra patience with each dog as I see them as a soul who is here to learn and experience. My husband and I have a relaxed lifestyle that allows us to be home most days other than side jobs and catering shifts on the weekends. We are in the midst of moving a couple hours east of here, albeit very slowly, so if your pup is with us for a while there’s a chance he or she will get to see the rural area of Middlesex VA and interact with some chickens! Both areas are far away from a main highway or there is a good fence. I have two friendly dogs, a Pomeranian and a whippet mix. We let them in and out as they choose, and have a couple acres for them to run and play on. I love going for runs and walks and would happily bring your pup along, depending on his or her energy level. I have a healthy understanding of how to keep a healthy leash contact with the dog, and if need be, I am quite strong if I need to keep the dog from running.
17. Veronica C.
“Veronica has been so amazing! I can really tell that she cares for animals and has really went out of her way to send pictures of cuddles and walks when she visits!”
18. Tina P.
“Phillip adores he5”
19. Nora B.
“Nora is an extremely responsible adult that has a love for dogs. I have left my dog with her on many occasions and knew he was in safe hands. Her boyfriend has a dog that she has taken in as her own and it is the most cared for dog I’ve ever seen. She is always on-time no matter what and once she takes on a job she does it full force. I would not only recommend for hire but also insist that hiring her is in the companies best interest. There will be no problems that come with hiring her and she’s the best for the job.”
20. Tamara T.
“Tamara was amazing in a really stressful situation with our pup when he ran outside and hid from her. She was communicative, found a solution, and ensured they were safe and home quickly. We are so thankful knowing she cares for our dogs like they were her own!”
