About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.
About: I have been taking care of my neighbors’ cats and dogs since I was 9 years old! When I was 14, my family adopted our beagle terrier, Atticus, and I was so excited to have a new addition to our family. When I left for college, I missed my furry companion, so I started pet-sitting for family friends in the area. It has brought me so much joy to take care of people’s pets, and I want to keep doing it as long as I can! Since I am between semesters, I have a lot of time to be available for your pets! I like to be active and spend time outdoors during the day which usually accommodates energetic pets! Whether it’s a multi-day stay, or just a daily check in, I will make sure your pet is active, happy, and safe throughout our time together!

About: I've taken care of dogs since I can remember. I'd walk them and make sure they got their food. I'd comb them and give them great grooming sessions. I'll give your pup the attention they need! I currently work at UVA caring for frogs. My job is very flexible and I will have no trouble scheduling in care for your pets. In my home my rabbit is free roam. She has no restrictions. She is also litter trained. I'll pay close attention to the instruction you leave for your pet. I understand how important it is to give your them their routine that is familiar and safe.
