About: Hi! I am Nadia, and welcome to my Woodland Paws Retreat, a peaceful nature sanctuary located in beautiful countryside on 5 acres of scenic area in Schuyler. I proudly serve Charlottesville, Crozet and surrounding areas. This area is ideal for nature loving dogs who enjoy walking on peaceful nature trails, running and chaising squirrels, playing and exercising. Senior dogs or puppies, playful or calm, shy or anxious- every dog is welcomed here with love and personalised attention. I love welcoming dogs into our home and making sure they feel relaxed, loved and happy during their stay with us. My priority is not only safety, but also ensuring every dog is happy and feels home away from home.When your best friend is in my care, you will have a peace of mind! I am currently working from home, so my schedule is flexible, and I have enough time to enjoy taking care of your furry friends giving them love, attention, providing exercise, and tailor each dog unique needs. Our home is located on five peaceful acres of wooded land, creating a quiet retreat for the dogs in our care where your furry friends will be on vacation enjoy walking, running and exercising in nature environment. We have large corral for dog's exercises. Our big backyard deck is fenced. One of dogs favorite places in our retreat is screened balcony with charming forest views, where they love to relax, watch birds, wildlife, and enjoy the calming sounds of forest. Many dogs love spending time here simply observing the nature. We have plenty of room inside where your friend can play and watch DOGTV channel with me and my husband. Your friend will be surrounded with an abundance of personalized attention and love. I am committed to keep communication open, sending photos and updates a few times a day. My goal is to give every dog calm, safe and loving environment so owner can travel with compIete peace of mind. About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.

“Tina was so wonderful! I was a bit nervous going in as this was the first time I was leaving my 8 month old puppy with someone that I did not know. We set up a meet and greet during which my pup, Maizy displayed some anxiety, but Tina was not deterred. She knew Maizy needed to warm up at her pace and she got some treats right away to help build up some trust! She sent pictures and really helped me feel at ease that Maizy was well cared for! There was even a storm that rolled by which Maizy is terrified of thunder and Tina helped her feel safe! I would definitely book with her again should we need it!”

About: Desdé muy pequeña siempre hubo una mascota en casa, al dia de hoy el apego que tengo a los animales es muy especial, no puedo no emocionarme cuando veo algún ser vivo pasando frente a mis ojos, para mi sería un privilegio que me dieras la confianza de cuidar a tú mascota como si fuera un miembro más de la familia.♡ Actualmente tengo un trabajo independiente, asi que eso me da mucha flexibilidad para adaptarme al horario que tu mascota necesite cuidado, atención, alimento, cariño y muchísimo más. Tengo un apartamento bastantes amplio dónde tu mascota puede estar tranquilamente, tengo algunos premios, juguetes, comida, cosas con las cuales estoy segura no podria aburrirse, me gusta mucho salir a caminar asi que podria ser un gran beneficio si lo que necesitas es que tu mascota salga a despejarse un poco.

“lily and i love and absolutely adore jenny! she is so attentive and i can tell lily gets all the loving when she is with jenny. she provides tons of updates (i seriously know a play by play of lily’s day with her) and is very responsive. lily always comes back SO happy and tired, it’s no question that jenny provides the best care. it’s very clear that she wants the best for your pet and will go above and beyond for them. if there is anyone you choose to watch your furry family, it definitely should be jenny!! i seriously don’t know what i would do without her!! ❤️”

About: I’ve had a dog my entire life except for a few very lonely months in 2020 after I lost the love of my life, Romey, the naughtiest lab with the best sense of humor. I grew up with labs (mostly ) but now have Gizmo, a labrodoodle , who will soon become BDE (best dog ever) if he can finally learn how to not jump like a kangaroo when he sees his dog friends. I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was young. I’d walk, feed and love on my neighbors and friends pets. I hope I will be the one you call and who you can trust with your furry BFF. Whether you have a long day at work or a weekend vacation, I’ll be there for you! I work part time on the weekends up on the mountain and have lots of time during the week to help out with your dog! I have a fenced in play area in my back yard and crates, dog beds and a designated “dog room” where your pet can relax in solitude or with Gizmo!

About: I have been helping take care of dogs and cats since I was 10 and have pet sat for many people before joining Rover. I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, fish, and chickens. I am excited for the opportunity to look after your pets of all kinds! I can watch your pet during the day, do shorter drop-in visits, or stay overnight to give your pet attention while you’re away from home. I have a flexible schedule as an online college student so I can spend the majority of time with your pets, in your home or mine. I like to stick to the routine your pet is used to, but am also open to taking them on adventures if they do well in a small car.

About: Me encantan los animales, soy muy responsable y enérgica me encanta la compañía de los perros, he cuidado mascotas por mucho tiempo y es un placer seguirlo haciéndo Tengo las mañanas disponibles la mayor parte del tiempo, encajaría perfecto de lunes a sábado desde la 5 am hasta las 12 pm, puedo ofrecer este servicio fuera del horario mencionado si así el cliente lo desea. Ambas opciones aplican perfectamente para mi, no tengo ninguna preferencia. Es una decisión que depende totalmente de las preferencias del cliente. Mi casa esta en perfecto estado para recibir mascotas.

About: I have had dogs since I can remember! I have worked in kennels and dog grooming. I have worked with all different breeds and sizes. I have raised and trained many dogs of all breeds. Currently, I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. I have a 9 year old daughter who has been raised with all animals and is very comfortable around dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a golden retriever who is super friendly! I do have a crate in my house if that is needed/preferred.
