About: MATURE and RESPONSIBLE DOG LOVER. I’ve had dogs from small to giant. I am a volunteer at the Agoura Animal Shelter and Ventura County Animal Shelter. I have many years of experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and currently I have a Treeing Walker Hound, and a senior Cocker Spaniel (both are rescues). I provide hotel pet sitting, hiking, walking, and check-ins. A MEET AND GREET WITH THE PET AND THEIR OWNER IS REQUIRED. I walk my own dogs every morning and bathe them once each week. Dog-walking is my livelihood and I take the care of dogs seriously. I volunteer twice a week at the Agoura Animal Shelter and the Ventura Animal Shelter. I live in a single-family home with a fenced yard, and have a section of the house I can gate if I need to. Because I have my own dogs who need me, I am not available to stay in a client’s home.

In addition to caring for my own dog daily, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family. I believe in treating others the way I would want to be treated, so I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and updates to give pet parents peace of mind while they're away. I work remotely four days a week and off Saturday through Monday, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and interaction. My own dog, Peanut, spends the day with me in my home office, and this allows for a couple of one-on-one play sessions throughout the day. My home office has a sliding door that leads directly to our large, and secure, yard, making potty breaks easy and as frequent as needed. I have a school age daughter, and a terrier mix who roams freely, so we’re very mindful about keeping floors and common areas clear of anything that could pose a choking hazard or safety risk. Same goes with the outside. I provide close supervision in a normal household activity and everyday sounds like TV or music. My dog is crate trained; however, we typically use a playpen if a secure space is needed. I am happy to follow each pet's parent's preferences regarding crating, feeding routines, and supervision to ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve taking care of pets 1 year ago! Friends and family relied on me to boarding, walk and feed their pets. I’m very friendly and lovely with the animals I work part time so I’ll have time to play with your pups! I’m available to boarding any day but more weekdays after 2pm ! My passion is riding horses and hiking with dogs. I've owned & loved 4 of my own horses, 4 dogs, 6 cats and several smaller animals in my life. I am an avid hiker and love being outside on my next adventure - hopefully with your pooch next! It's a true pleasure to enjoy the company of your beloved dog, horse, cat or other beloved family member. I'm a lucky mommy of two daughters ages 11 & 9 years who love animals as much as I do. They often join me in the animal care. I can't wait to help spoil your babies! My schedule is currently fairly open and flexible. I am especially available early in the morning and later in the afternoon/evening. Sat and especially Sunday are usually totally open for me. I would prefer to go to other people's homes to care for there pets however I could take one or possibly two smaller dogs in my own home. I do not have a yard but I go on long walks and have trails all around me.
