What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the depth of my experience caring for animals with a wide range of needs, personalities, and life stages. I’m not only a lifelong pet owner, but I also have over 10 years of foster experience, which has given me extensive hands on practice with pets who require extra patience, structure, and understanding. Through fostering, I’ve worked with shy and anxious dogs, rescue pets adjusting to new environments, high energy puppies needing consistency, and seniors who deserve gentle, attentive care. I’m comfortable supporting pets through transitions, helping them feel safe, and building trust at their pace. I also have experience with important day to day skills that many sitters may not offer, including: Crate training and potty-training support for puppies Calm, reassuring care for anxious or fearful pets Senior pet care, including slower routines and extra comfort Basic medical needs, such as administering oral medications and following special care instructions Foster level attentiveness, meaning I notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort Because I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rodents, and reptiles, I understand that every animal has unique needs and I tailor my approach to each pet’s routine and temperament. Jamie loves animals! She is so gentle and kind, and always gives extra snacks! Cuddles are a must for fur babies, and takes them for walks when needed. She is such an animal lover and has such a kind heart. Sometimes I think my dogs love her more than us! Highly recommend for all pet needs and pets who love to be spoiled with cuddles and love.
I can’t recommend Jamie highly enough as a pet sitter and dog walker. Jamie is one of those rare people who animals immediately trust, and for very good reason. Jamie is a wonderful pet sitter and person in general. She is very responsible and is clearly an animal lover. She is punctual, can take care of animals with specific needs and most of all is reliable. Reliability is hard to find, so this is a very important trait.
Jamie volunteered for SAFE Animal Rescue in Thousand Oaks for many years. She had a fondness for the puppies and medical rescues, which were often seriously injurred and/or seniors, that required extra love and care. She's reliable, prompt and a kind soul. She'd make a wonderful pet sitter and treat your pet like family.

I am presently a stay-at-home mom with two children ages 3 and 5 that also LOVE animals. My schedule is very flexible so I am avaible to host pets in my own home or visit yours to take your pet(s) for walks, potty breaks, adventures, housesitting, etc.

Safety, trust & environment
My home has a small fenced-in side yard with a doggy door that allows for pets to alleviate themselves as needed and I also have a fenced in patio so they can be outside and sunbathe, watch birds, socialize and/or relax. Otherwise, all pets are kept indoors unless they want to be outside. I live in a lovely, pet-friendly neighborhood in an oak tree forest with lots of places for gentle walks or hikes. As far as client's homes, I am happy to follow any routine the client has for their pet but also enjoy taking pets with me to go on walks and hikes, run errands, pick my kids up for school, etc. Whatever the client is comfortable with, so am I. My children love pets and are endlessly excited to share in their love and spend time with them too.
A typical day
We can go on walks, hikes, to the park, the beach if allowed, on car rides to pick the kids up from school and generally just have a great time together. :)
