About: So, a little about me, I’m an animal lover and I absolutely love to be around dogs! My husband and had a 5 yr old toy poodle mix that we rescued but she has unfortunately passed! We love our fur babies as much as people love their real babies. I enjoyed taking walks with my dog and just giving her as much love and attention as possible, I’d like to extend that love and care to your pets! I have found myself with a lot of extra free time and would like nothing more than to help care for other people’s pets! I’m a stay at home mom so I’m available most days for feedings and walks as well as runs, dog parks, and any other special requests. About: The last two dogs I had were the best pets I've ever had, one in particular I took everywhere, hiking, running, swimming and even to play basketball. I even took her halfway up Mt. Diablo one time. I feel like every dog owner should expose their dogs to many outside environments, something other than there backyard or house. The only regrets I have about my past ownership is not taking my dogs out everyday. As an owner I believe that dogs should be treated more than just a convenient stress reliever. Dogs can be your closest friend so they ought to be cared for and treated like a great one. What I bring to the table is a genuine love for all dogs and an understanding of their needs. I can be fairly flexible on weekdays for visits and walks, but am mostly available only in the afternoon. Weekends, I am pretty much always available. House sits I can do any day of the week. To start off, I always start off by caring for the pet as outlined by the owner (routines, feeding schedules, medications, things to avoid, walks). But in addition to that, I like to have some fun with the dogs that I sit. I will play with them a bit and in general just hang out with them.

I have many years of experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and currently I have a Treeing Walker Hound, and a senior Cocker Spaniel (both are rescues). I provide hotel pet sitting, hiking, walking, and check-ins. A MEET AND GREET WITH THE PET AND THEIR OWNER IS REQUIRED. I walk my own dogs every morning and bathe them once each week. I work remotely four days a week and off Saturday through Monday, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and interaction. My own dog, Peanut, spends the day with me in my home office, and this allows for a couple of one-on-one play sessions throughout the day. My home office has a sliding door that leads directly to our large, and secure, yard, making potty breaks easy and as frequent as needed. I have a school age daughter, and a terrier mix who roams freely, so we’re very mindful about keeping floors and common areas clear of anything that could pose a choking hazard or safety risk. Same goes with the outside. I provide close supervision in a normal household activity and everyday sounds like TV or music. My dog is crate trained; however, we typically use a playpen if a secure space is needed. I am happy to follow each pet's parent's preferences regarding crating, feeding routines, and supervision to ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable.

I grew up with all kinds of animals for my entire life so this is not new territory for me! When I was in my late teens early 20s I was working with Labradors in Simi Valley and it was the best experience I’ve ever had they bred and trained them the whole shebang! About: The last two dogs I had were the best pets I've ever had, one in particular I took everywhere, hiking, running, swimming and even to play basketball. I even took her halfway up Mt. Diablo one time. I feel like every dog owner should expose their dogs to many outside environments, something other than there backyard or house.
