“Oli is a very loving, conscientious, accommodating and responsible dog sitter. I appreciate her awareness of a dog's energy and I knew Scout was in good hands with her, so I never have to worry about her when she's with Oli. I also appreciated the follow up on the first day along with pics to assure me Scout felt settled in.”

“Glenda was wonderful with our two dogs and they had lots of fun exploring outside and lounging inside.Absolutely the best dog sitter we’ve had so far and we will be rebooking the very next time we need a sitter!! Just terrific! Thank you so much Glenda!!”

About: I have cared for pets ever since I was a little girl, where we had lots of land and all sorts of animals that became family! Our family has worked with many rescues over the years and have had the opportunity to help care for and find homes for many fur babies!! I currently work part time and mostly from home!! I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. This provides opportunity for long walks, lots of yard time, attention and cuddles! We have a large, beautiful backyard that is safely protected by a fence. The dogs will have access inside with free room unless you prefer for us to crate them! We also have two very sweet dogs of our own that your fur babies get to play with!

“Kailey is wonderful! She came over to my house and spent 2 days with my dog Bunny. Bunny immediately warmed up to her and could sense her good energy and kindness. Kailey was responsive, dependable, and extremely flexible! She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day, and took extra special care when Bunny wasn't feeling well. Bunny was so sad to see her leave!!! I recommend Kailey 1000000%! Can't wait to book her again.”

“Elaine and Marty have given me peace of mind while traveling for work or pleasure. I know Zoey is home away from home with her daily routine and the love she receives. I am guilt free leaving here there and words cannot express my gratitude to Elaine and Marty.”

“Glenn & Renee were able to accommodate my senior chihuahua mix on short notice for doggy daycare in the midst of his eating habits (and therefore bathroom habits) changing due to our cross-state move. They were just as invested in his eating and bathroom habits returning to normal as if he were their own. I am hoping that Monte adjusts to his new home quickly, but will be returning to services with Glenn & Renee because of their high quality care for my dog.”

“Erika is lovely. We walk Junior 2 hours a day and finally we found Erika, who is willing to take our dog out for walks throughout the day. Junior immediately made himself at home at Erika's place. He was happy to return to her house the following day! I trust Erika to give good care.”

About: I understand dog psychology. I understand what a dog needs to be happy and balanced. I have owned and trained dogs for over 14 years. I have trained my dog to be a gentle giant and to always be at my side while walking. I will make sure your dog is well taken care of and provide you with plenty of updates so your mind will be at ease while your dog is with me. I currently work from home and have my dog Baloo with me. I take him on daily walks and would take your dog out on walks as well either as a pack or individually. I have a fenced off back yard with easy access to come in and out of the house. My dog is dog friendly to both small and big dogs.

“Django seems to have enjoyed his time at Ala’s. I was provided with plenty of photos and updates throughout the day. Will definitely consider booking again when I’m back in the area.”

About: Hi there! I’m Samira, a lifelong dog lover and former Culver City Rover sitter, now happily settled in Thousand Oaks with my own home and a huge, fully fenced backyard, a true pup paradise! I call it Warm House for Cold Noses because that’s exactly what we offer: a loving, relaxed space where dogs are treated like family. Our furry family includes Dobby, Duke, and Mia. Three sweet, friendly dogs who love making new friends. Whether your pup wants to play, relax, or snuggle up, they’ll feel right at home here. Dogs are treated like family in our house. That means couch cuddles, bed snoozes, and lots of love! We’re homebodies at heart and spend plenty of time in the yard or relaxing indoors, so your dog will always have companionship and comfort. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone, and I promise to treat them with the same love and care I give my own. Can’t wait to welcome your furry friend into our home! Let’s connect and set up a meet & greet, we’d love to meet you both! ❤️🐶 In Loving Memory of Mona & Tequila Mona and Tequila were a special part of our family and a big part of my Rover journey. They brought so much love and joy into our home, and while they are no longer with us, their memory lives on in everything we do. I’ve chosen not to remove them from my profile because they will always be part of the heart behind Warm House for Cold Noses. I work from home and am home the majority of the time, so your pup will have plenty of love and attention throughout the day! I only step out briefly for errands or school drop-off/pick-up, but never for long periods. Your dog will never feel alone — there’s always a warm lap, a cozy spot on the couch, and a wagging tail nearby. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, pets are treated like family, they’ll have free roam of the house, plenty of snuggles, and a large fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise. I always do a slow and gentle introduction to my own dogs (Dobby, Duke, and Mia), who are all friendly and well-socialized. I carefully monitor all interactions to make sure everyone feels relaxed and happy. I keep the environment calm, clean, and cozy, with soft beds (or our bed!), toys, and a routine that makes dogs feel right at home. Whether your pup is energetic or a snuggle bug, I’ll follow their pace and respect their needs. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

Luis L.
“I met Luis when I use to watch dogs on Rover. He wanted to make sure I knew how to handle his two large Rottweilers. Not only was I blown away with how well his dogs behaved and listened to him, his demeanor with my dogs as well was seasoned and positive. His dogs did not walk thru an entryway first they were taught to wait for the person to enter first. I ended up taking my new rescue to him to help me after my Rottweiler passed. He showed me how to properly train and follow basic commands. He is hands down one of the most knowledgeable people I know about dogs and I will always consider him a friend and when I need my dogs watched, (I have 3 rescues) he would be my first choice. A true gem as a handler of dogs and a darn good human.”

Ala B.
