About: Hi! Here’s a little about me to help you feel confident leaving your pets in my care! I grew up with two dogs: a Yorkie Poo named Molly and a very energetic dachshund named Archie. Now, I share my home with a small but mighty cat named Stella and our newest addition Miles, my sweet miniature dachshund! Stella runs the house (as cats do), and Miles keeps us all on our toes with his dachshund energy. My pets are family, and I’d love to share that same love with your furry friends. I'm a teacher, so I have a flexible schedule in the summers and can work with you to make sure your pets are well cared for, walked, played with, cuddled, and most importantly, loved. For those larger pups, I am able travel to your home to take care of your animals. It is my job to respect each home I am in and treat all animals like they are my own!

About: I am a current babysitter looking to make extra cash. I have three dogs as well so I am very familiar with how to treat and cooperate with them! I have also done pet sitting in the past for friends, family and also as a job itself. As a babysitter, I am always driving anyway. I would easily be able to stop by in the mornings/afternoon, and later on throughout the night. I would be able to provide long walks, feeding, and playing with your pet(s). As well as anything else needed. I have a flexible schedule and would base it around whatever is necessary.
“Dolly and her three boys took exceptional care of Parker. She has three boys and a large fencing backyard that allowed him to play amd explore in a safe environment. When we arrived, parker was immediately snatched up by her by one of her two younger sons who promptly began playing with him, pampering him and loving him. Dolly said her sons even “argued” over whose bed he would sleep in. Parker came back a happy camper and made three great buddies along the way. Additionally, Dolly kept constant contact with me and sent pictures over the course of the two days. I would highly recommend this wonderful family to look after your pet whenever you need someone to watch them.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Thorndale
Lori took great care of my little Pomeranian while I was away on a family vacation. My dog had a great time and seeing the sweet look in his eyes as he said his goodbyes to Lori spoke volumes. While my dog is an easy keeper, he likes to be babied. Lori and her kids gave my little diva-boy all the attention he craved. I'd give Lori 6 six out of five stars if I could! Thanks, Lori. You are a delight!

This was Theo’s first time using Rover and his first extended stay away from us, so we were naturally nervous. Bart made the entire experience so much easier with regular updates and great communication, which gave us real peace of mind. Theo settled in well, got along with the other pets and kids, and came home happy and well cared for. We’re so grateful to have found Bart and wouldn’t hesitate to trust him with Theo again. Thank you, Bart!
Slugger stayed with Samantha for the weekend. She sent us pictures and updates everyday. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times which is great. Slugger has so much fun and loves the company of the other dogs. We will definitely be using Samantha again in the future.

This was our first time using Lorraine and Rover. We couldn't have found a better person to watch our senior pooch. From our first meeting, we felt our girl was in a safe healthy environment and Lorraine was a caring, reliable sitter. Over the 2 week stay, Lorraine sent updates and pictures showing a contended, happy pooch. We highly recommend Lorraine. A+

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
