“Zen had a very nice stay with Tim and his family. She LOVES kids and Tim provided plenty of opportunities for playtime with them and with his 2 small dogs. Drop-off and pickup were super easy. It was a nice bonus to receive a couple pictures of Zen while we were away. We would certainly select Tim again if he is available! 😀”

“Lori was fantastic! She was able to take Colby last minute, and it worked out perfectly. Lori was so sweet and I know that Colby was lovingly cared for. She sent us pictures and stayed in touch.”

“Wenji and family are great. I got some pictures and Jo got lots of walks. When Jo came home, she was very calm and balanced and happy. Very happy about this experience. Will have Jo stay again with Wenji.”

“We have greatly benefited from having Diego & Amelia P. provide Boarding service on multiple occasions for our two Australian Labradoodles. They consistently deliver outstanding care for our furry children, as they are extremely thorough and compulsive in meeting all of their needs. All of the members of their family create a warm and loving environment in which our pets are always relaxed and thriving. We loved receiving daily photos of our pooches resting peacefully and cuddling with members of their family. Accordingly, we highly and unreservedly recommend Diego & Amelia P. for all your Boarding and Doggy Day Care needs.”

“Sruthi and Abha were wonderful with our senior dog! They were very attentive to her and were fantastic about giving us updates! We would definitely book with them again!”

“Toni was amazing! She was able to fit us in on short notice. Her dog, Ollie, was super friendly and got along great with our dog, Sunny, whom we boarded with her for 4 nights. Toni was very communicative and sent us short messages and pictures of how Sunny was doing every day. This was our first time boarding our dog with a sitter and her level of communication definitely helped us feel more at ease. We will definitely be using her services again the future.”

“Very loving trustworthy person to take care of pet Kenny. Very friendly with my pet and easy going person. I do recommend if any interest to day care of your pet. Here is place and well secure atmosphere. Happy to share my feedback.”

“Jetzy was awesome with our little frenchie. She provided daily updates, and was able to accommodate his special needs. Our dog had a ton of fun with Captain. Would absolutely recommend and use Jetzy and family again!”

“Chassy was an absolute life saver, I had a family emergency and needed a sitter at the very last minute. I reached out to Chassy and she responded immediately. I have boarded my dog with others on Rover and I can tell that Baily was cared for and she updated me with lots of photos of his stay. It seems we have found our Baily a new sitter.”

“Remi loved his time with Amy and her dogs. It was his first time being watched by a non-family member. He was so content and napping next to Amy when I came to pick him up. A really great experience!”

“It is a bit more difficult to find a knowledgeable pet sitter for a bully breed and Sam is great. We just had adopted Nox a few month back before I had to go on a business trip - Nox and I haven't figured out each other completely yet and Sam was great taking my concerns in consideration. Communication was good (very responsive) and I never had the feeling I have to worry about Nox at all. We definitely will book Sam again in the future!!”

“Avery was awesome!!! She went above and beyond for my girls! They seem to love her too! She cared for them just like I would have.. probably more!! She kept to the arranged schedule and kept in contact with messaging and photos which made me feel Even more comfortable!! Would highly recommend Avery! Thank you.”

“Scotch had the best time at Drew's home! Even though it was a last minute booking, Drew was accommodating and he listened to all of Scotch's requirements like his medication and feeding details and followed them to the T. He took Scotch for regular walks and played with him and kept him occupied. Thank you Drew for understanding Scotch's anxiety symptoms and taking care of him so well!”
“Our dog Poncho stayed with Chonlada for a week while we were on vacation and we could not take him with us. She was very flexible and agreeable to a meet & greet beforehand. Poncho and her dog Tokie were similar in size, age, and activity level so they seemed to get along great. She has a large fenced property for the dogs to explore and run around. I got daily updates as well as pictures and videos of Poncho, which made my family and I feel better about leaving him. Chonlada and her family took great care of Poncho (spoiled him...lol) and made sure he ate his meals and slept comfortably. They also comforted him during a thunder storm, which he does not like. Chonlada even contacted me when she noticed that Poncho was licking his paws and had a small abrasion, which she treated and monitored. Thanks so much to Chonlada and her family and I would definitely recommend her for boarding and will use again when needed.”

“Maria was amazing! A true dog lover! She is very sweet. She took great care of our Logan with continuous communication and pictures. You should definitely book her as will I the next time I travel. Thank you Maria for taken such good care of our boy!”

Casie and Kirin were wonderful. Casie asked a lot of questions to get to know Ollie and was very reassuring when we dropped us off. She let us know how things were going and sent us videos. Ollie had a great time and we look forward to having Casie board Ollie for us in the future.

We had such a great experience with Neetika! She took care of Daisy as if she were her own, and we were able to truly enjoy our week away knowing Daisy was in good hands. She sent us daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Daisy even made a new friend, Tucker, Neetika’s super sweet dog, who greeted us with Daisy when we picked her up. We also left with a cute goodie bag! We’ll definitely be leaving Daisy with Neetika and her family again the next time we need a sitter or boarding. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Barbara, first time using her. She sent daily updates with a little message about how our dog was doing, along with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while away. It was clear he was well cared for and happy. Highly recommend!

Keerthi and Jay were wonderful! They are such a sweet couple, and I felt completely comfortable going on vacation and leaving my pup in their care, despite his separation anxiety. I loved receiving the daily updates and photos, and Keerthi was fantastic about reaching out with any concerns. It is such a relief to find sitters who are so attentive and caring. I highly recommend them!
We boarded our dog, Boo, with Valerie for a week while we were out of town. Valerie did a great job, she was very caring and responsive, she sent us photos/updates often and she took initiative to help our nervous dog get comfortable in a new environment. Our girl was in great hands with Valerie and her family. Thanks again! :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
