“Megan and Vitaliy were wonderful to work with! Excellent communication pre-booking and during our trip. We loved all of the pictures of the pups enjoying their yard. Felt at ease during the trip. Our dogs Watson and Parker were well taken care of. Will plan on booking again in the future. :)”

“Lorraine did an excellent job taking care of our dog for a week! Our dog is rescue who has been with us for just a year so we were nervous about his first separation, but his stay with Lorraine was wonderful. She provided daily updates, photos and kept our pup on his schedule. After his stay, he adjusted back home without any trouble. We definitely recommend Lorraine and would rebook with her in the future.”

“My girl came home happy and she didn't want to leave her vacation! Erica was communicative and sent a picture or video almost every day which I told her gave huge comfort to my toddler. She delivered all of Coco Chanel's meds without incidence (and even gave her bi-weekly subcutaneous shot). Thank you Erica, we will book with you again!”

“Catherine and her family were so caring to our elderly dog. They really went out of their way to make sure his separation anxiety and old man ways were managed well. Highly recommend them!”
“Winston had a great time. He has a bit of anxiety and usually doesn’t eat when not at home, well He must have felt right at home because we got a picture of him eating away!! We will definitely book again.”

“Lori was fantastic! She was able to take Colby last minute, and it worked out perfectly. Lori was so sweet and I know that Colby was lovingly cared for. She sent us pictures and stayed in touch.”

“Julia was amazing. We had an out of town wedding and she took care of our Finn like her own. She has a little Yorkie named Archie and Finn and he had some much fun together. I was so relieved by Julia's updates and pictures that she sent. Finn loves to walk and she took him out for many walks in her very walkable neighborhood. I highly recommend Julia for your next getaway.”

“Alyssa and her husband did a great job with our dogs Buddy and Apollo. One of our dogs has allergies and other medication and her experience with animals really shines through. When I picked up the dogs after our vacation they seemed like they had just as good of a week as we did.”
“We had a great experience with Samantha. Richie loved her and Samantha took great care of Richie sending pictures of updates of how he was doing. She also picked him up and dropped him home which was super convenient and helpful to us. Would highly recommend Samantha and I will be booking with her again!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and have cared for several dogs over the years. I currently have two small dogs of my own, a Yorkshire Terrier and a Maltese, and they are both very friendly and comfortable around other dogs. My Yorkie is 8 years old, so I have plenty of hands-on experience with daily care, feeding, walking, playtime, and giving dogs the attention they need. I spend a lot of time at home, which allows me to keep a close eye on the dogs in my care and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I truly enjoy having dogs around and will treat your dog like part of the family while they stay with us 🐶 I will be home with the dogs throughout the day, so they get plenty of attention and regular potty breaks. We already have our own dogs, so caring for dogs is a natural part of our daily routine. I’m available for both daytime daycare and overnight boarding. Our home is in a quiet area with plenty of space between neighbors, which makes it a peaceful place for dogs to relax and feel at home. We keep our home clean, quiet, and comfortable for our dogs and visiting pups. The house is regularly cleaned and disinfected, and we do an extra cleaning before every new stay. Potty pads are changed frequently, and we use air purifiers indoors to help keep the space fresh and odor-free. Our own dogs also receive regular flea and tick prevention. Most importantly, someone is home throughout the day to keep an eye on the dogs and make sure they are safe and comfortable.
“Dani and Anthony were so great with our pup! Super communicative (lots of pics) and really wanted to learn how to make Nala comfortable before dropping her off. They kept Nala happy and made her feel at home right away. Nala loved them so much she didn’t even want to come home - best Rover we’ve used!”

“Barbara took excellent care of our dog while we were out of town. I appreciated the pictures and updates through the app. It was our first time using Barbara and we will definitely use her for future pet sitting needs.”

“Casie and Kirin were wonderful. Casie asked a lot of questions to get to know Ollie and was very reassuring when we dropped us off. She let us know how things were going and sent us videos. Ollie had a great time and we look forward to having Casie board Ollie for us in the future.”

“Dolly was wonderful with our two pups, gave frequent updates, sent photos and was willing to accommodate our last minute request as a possible extension of stay! Highly recommend!!”

“Anita was great with my pup!! She sent pictures and updates daily - her home is clean and she lives in such a dog friendly neighborhood for multiple walks and fun!! Definitely recommend booking with her!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Thorndale
Lori took great care of my little Pomeranian while I was away on a family vacation. My dog had a great time and seeing the sweet look in his eyes as he said his goodbyes to Lori spoke volumes. While my dog is an easy keeper, he likes to be babied. Lori and her kids gave my little diva-boy all the attention he craved. I'd give Lori 6 six out of five stars if I could! Thanks, Lori. You are a delight!

This was our first time using Lorraine and Rover. We couldn't have found a better person to watch our senior pooch. From our first meeting, we felt our girl was in a safe healthy environment and Lorraine was a caring, reliable sitter. Over the 2 week stay, Lorraine sent updates and pictures showing a contended, happy pooch. We highly recommend Lorraine. A+

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
