About: I have owned both dogs and cats throughout my life and currently have a 5 year old pup named Kona. She is southern girl rescued from the streets of Alabama. I teach but I am taking a sabbatical this year and am looking to fill some of my extra time with furry friends. I also grew up in households that had both cats and dogs and have watched my friends pets while they were on vacation or just needed someone to drop in and give them some love. In my free time, I have volunteered with a local dog rescue and helped to facilitate their dog adoption days. I am available most days through out the week for pet care from 8am to 3pm. If services are needed outside of these times, then send me a message and I will see if I can accommodate your needs. I will make sure that your pet is always secured on a leash while on walks and use training treats to help work on troublesome on-leash behaviors. If you have another furry friend that needs cate, then I will be able to feed them, sift the litter box, provide attention, or whatever else your pet may need.
About: I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals and can’t imagine a home without them. With over 36 years of pet-care experience and several years in dog rescue, I’ve cared for pets of every age, size, and temperament—from energetic puppies to seniors who need medication and gentle handling. As a veterinary technician student, I bring medical awareness, calm confidence, and attention to detail to every pet I meet. Whether I’m walking, sitting, or giving cuddles, my goal is always to keep animals safe, happy, and stress-free. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand the trust it takes to leave your animals in someone else’s care. You can count on me for reliability, communication, and genuine compassion in every visit. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Between my veterinary technician studies and volunteer work with rescue dogs, I’m used to structuring my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and medication schedules. I have a flexible schedule and can usually accommodate early mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Whether it’s a regular walk or drop-in visit, I make sure each pet gets consistent attention and care—never rushed, always personal. Safety and comfort always come first. I create a calm, structured environment where pets can relax and feel secure. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any medical or behavioral instructions you provide. With my rescue and veterinary technician experience, I’m attentive to body language, changes in appetite, or signs of stress. I use positive handling, never force interaction, and ensure all pets have fresh water, clean spaces, and plenty of attention. You can trust that your pet will be treated with patience, respect, and genuine care every step of the way.

“Jody has been so great with our new pup! When we first met her we knew instantly she would be a great fit! Very personable and energized and connected with Roxy instantly. It also makes me feel better knowing she has experience as a vet tech. We look forward to using Jody in the future for many more dog walks to come. Thank you Jody!”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs all my life and I view pups as part of the family. Most of my experience is with poodles and doodle mixes of all sizes and varieties. I’ve raised dogs from puppyhood and cared for adopted pups for family members and friends. Among the dogs I’ve cared for are pups that are elderly, blind, diagnosed with chronic diseases, recovering from injuries and suffering with food allergies. I am comfortable around a wide variety of dogs. I took a hiatus from my career to raise my kids and as they’ve gotten older I have more free time to invest with your pet! I am a stay at home mom with 2 small kids and 2 older kids in school during the day which provides great schedule flexibility. I do not host dogs in my home at this time to respect my elderly dog’s space. I can manage walks and exercise for your dog and provide for any other basic care they may need (special feeding regimens, administration of medications…). I often have 2 young human assistants to make sure your pup gets lots of love and affection!
About: With 15 years of animal care, I know I can handle any assignment needed. I started dog sitting, long term, when I was 16 years old. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, whatever you need I’m here to do the job right. My schedule is fairly flexible, I drive school bus during the day to keep my little one with me. I wanted to supplement my income with doing what I love, spending time with animals. If the little one can not be around your pet I have short term child care when needed. If home visits are needed your home will always be left exactly as it is found. No matter the environment I am not here to judge. As long as you and your pet are happy all is well!
About: I am a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for their care and well-being. Growing up in a home full of pets – from bunnies and dogs to cats and aquatic animals – I’ve always felt a strong connection to all creatures. My commitment to animals goes beyond simply loving them; I believe in being a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of rescuing and caring for many dogs, especially senior pups, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience. Providing a safe, loving environment for an animal during their later years is a gift that every pet deserves, and I take great pride in offering that. With experience caring for a variety of dog breeds, sizes, and ages, I currently share my home with two small dogs and a cat – all of whom are friendly and welcoming to other animals. I’ve also had the joy of fostering several senior rescues over the years, creating a warm, loving atmosphere where every pet feels at home. No matter your pet’s needs, they’ll receive the utmost care, love, and attention from me. I look forward to meeting and caring for your beloved companion! I am a full-time pet mom, and caring for my pets is at the heart of my daily routine. As a recent graduate from Jefferson University with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design, I work full-time, but I’m fortunate to be remote most days. On a typical work-from-home day, I’m at my desk with one of my dogs either lounging in my lap or resting by my feet, while my cat comes and goes to check in on us. We take frequent potty breaks throughout the day, and I love rewarding them with occasional treats for being such good girls! On the days I work in the office, I usually get home between 4:30 and 5 PM, so I’m able to spend quality time with my pets after work. Weekends are always fully available for pet care, and I make sure to dedicate plenty of time to play, walks, and cuddles. I prioritize a loving and structured routine for my pets, and I’ll bring that same level of care and attention to your pets. Whether I’m working from home or out of the office, your pet will be treated as part of my family, receiving all the attention, love, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in my home or your home, safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. I ensure a secure environment by closely monitoring the pets, keeping them in a safe, pet-friendly space, and always following any specific instructions provided by the pet owner. At my home, I have a comfortable and clean space for pets to relax, with plenty of room for play and exploration and also a fenced in yard. My own pets are well-socialized, and I carefully introduce new animals to make sure everyone feels at ease. I make sure to always supervise interactions and ensure that pets have a peaceful, stress-free experience. In your home, I take the time to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, maintaining consistency with feeding, exercise, and playtime. I also make sure to follow any additional rules or preferences you may have, whether it’s keeping your pet away from certain areas or offering specific treats. Above all, I strive to build a bond with your pet based on trust and love, providing them with the care and attention they need while you're away. You can rest assured that your pet will receive the same level of attention, compassion, and safety that I give to my own animals.

“I hired Alisha for occasional dog walks for our 85 lab mix. She came over to meet me and Buck and to learn his quirks and preferences.
