About: I’ve had every animal under the sun since I was kid! From every size dog to rats and lizards, I’ve cared for them all. I’ve been trusted to walk, watch, bathe, and cuddle many friends and family’s pets since I was a teen. I have a senior chihuahua mix that has had unfortunate experiences with larger dogs, which has made me hyper aware of dog body language. I’ve taken it upon myself to research and learn more about the behavior of dogs to keep them happy and safe! I work primarily from home on my own schedule with 1-2 days where I am away for longer than 6 hours. My schedule is very flexible, letting me go for a walk or check on a pet at most points throughout the day. I’m always sure to understand a pets dietary needs/restrictions and needs. Reward preferences, whether they want play time or a run, to cuddle, ect. are all important things I like to gather before watching a pet. I carry a variety of treats on me, a first aid kid, and slip leads in my car to be prepared for an emergency. I am trained in dog first-aid and CPR.

About: I love animals! I am not a dog parent myself, but I have lived with several different dogs and cats. I often spend time with and take care of the pets of my family and friends. I dog sit for my cousins often. They have 2 dogs: an black lab and a Australian shepherd mix. I love animals but unfortunately I cant afford to have a dog of my own and can't have them in the house i live in currently. I can walk, play with and drop in to feed your dogs, or watch them in your house. I will love and cherish your dogs as much as you do. I would love the opportunity to help care for your dog. About: Hi! I recently lost my senior pup of 12 years, I have lots of experience with puppy and senior dogs, love to go for walks, and I am comfortable administering medication as needed. I currently work remote and have some gaps in my day that I am able to spend time with your pets or check on your home! I have a fenced in yard and I am very active. About: I cannot wait to meet and take care of your little fur baby(: Grew up with dogs and cats, so I absolutely love the fun and crazy energy they bring! My husband and I have had six precious cats, two German Shorthairs, a Border Collie, and a Pomeranian, and currently we have a 16 year old Bichon Shih Tzu Poodle and a 6 year old Chihuahua. I will give the same love and care to your pets that I do with our fur babies. I know the significance of trusting your baby with someone else, so I will give them 110%! About: I’ve taken care of different animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, so I know how to love/care for many fur- baby’s! I am a teacher in the area and have the flexibility to provide care for the many pets in the area in my down time. I am flexible with what needs are to be met in a clients home. About: Over the course of my life, since early childhood, I've had 3 dogs and 4 cats. I mostly took care of training my 3rd dog who I had throughout childhood. In my adulthood, I've spent over a year I volunteered 1-3 times a week at a local animal shelter where I helped socialize the cats and dogs, and took the dogs on walks. At the animal shelter there were 3 different levels of difficulty assigned to each dog, and during my time there I worked my way up to handling & walking level 2 dogs. Additionally, I spent over a year working & living on a ranch, where I cared for horses, cows and bulls, goats, chickens, and a large variety of different bird species including an ostrich. I'm currently a college student that's currently taking a semester off. I'm doing part-time work that I set my own schedule for, so I have time to care for pets! I can work with fairly short notice as well. I'm good to work on any day except for Friday. Currently I'm not boarding any pets at my own home. I am very gentle and understanding with animals, and make sure to respect their boundaries. I'm able to crate dogs if need be, and am willing to give pets as much space as they need.

About: My passion for animals started from day 0! For as long as I can recall, when I was younger, I pleaded my parents for a pet until I was finally rewarded with parakeets and later a cockatiel. My family has also followed a tradition of housing pets found outside or otherwise needing a home. This has led to us temporarily supporting a conure and parakeets and adopting our dog, Gatsby. My interests also led me to volunteer at the Reed Animal Hospital, a dog shelter, and a donkey sanctuary - yes, you read that correctly :) I also worked at Dr. Dave's Doggy Daycare and Grooming, where I spent time with dogs and took them out for walks. I am currently a student at Portland State University. In whichever corner of the world I am, I have enjoyed helping out as a Rover sitter. I would love any and all opportunities to spend more time with animals, so feel free to reach out to me if interested! I study both in-person and remotely and have quite a flexible schedule! Tuesday, Thursday, and weekends, I am available for most of the day! Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I am available in the mornings and evenings. About: Hey all! I’ve been working in vet med as a vet tech for about 10 years now. My career and education has given me experience with animals, including special needs animals, special handling, basic first aid, medication (including injections), etc. I also have experience with volunteering at animals shelters, fostering cats and dogs, and my own pets; giving me a wide variety of experience such as training, handling strong and excited dogs on leashes, administering medication, CPR, and much more. I have two dogs of my own who are very friendly and who I take on walks, hikes and jogs and they would love extra company. If your dogs are not so friendly we can discuss the options! Additionally; I offer nail trims, anal gland expressions, and ear cleanings for an additional charge upon request. These are things I do several times a day at work, so I have plenty of experience. I work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and am out of the house for almost 10 hours those days. I am still about to fit in a dog walk on the days or a drop in visit. I have a fully fenced back yard and two friendly dogs that will be keeping your dog company (if appropriate). I am open to almost any of your special requests as I know how stressful leaving your four legged friend can be!

About: I have been around dogs of different temperaments and personalies my whole life and I'm the kind of person who stops to pet every dog I come across. When I spend time with my dogs I enjoy being outside and active, just as much as hanging out and giving pets. I've never met a dog I didn't get along with, and I promise they'll love hanging out with me (maybe too much). I like to either go for a walk, run, ski, or maybe even for an excursion into the mountains. It really depends on the dog though. If we need to keep it low-key then we'll just do a few laps in the neighborhood or even just hang out at home. Aside from getting the pup some exercise, I will often go spend time with friends or go run errands. In these cases I like to bring the dog with me as much as possible, but again, it depends on the dog. If you have a younger dog I can do some very basic training in obedience, commands and behavior. I work inconsistent hours and days. Outside of that I spend time outside or at the house cooking and hanging out with friends. Typically if I'm not working I will spend most of the day with the pet. When I do work, I can be gone 8 to 14 hours, so I like to get up super early to walk the dog, and take care of chores. This really depends on the pet. Some dogs like to flee if they get out, some like to stay around the people. Some dogs are friendly to other dogs, some are not. Some are all bark and no bite, some no bark and all bite. Learning how the dog does in different situations helps me figure out where I can take them, and how to take care of them and keep them safe. I think the big thing about house sitting is making sure they have everything they need before I leave them for an extended period of time: taking them out to poo, making sure they're fed, making sure there's no human food left out for them to snatch, etc.
