“Jeff and Roxanne are Doug’s favorite people, other than us… they are so welcoming and their babies, Naya & Finn are some of Doug’s best friends! We feel comfortable when Doug is in their care.”

“Angel, our golden retriever, came back relaxed and happy after spending 3 nights in Caitlin's care. She had a good time and got a 3 mile walk one day which gave her a good night's sleep. We will be booking with her on our next trip.”

About: Our family loves animals! We have a big yard, but our pets are usually in the house with us. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them. We are home during the day to accommodate various schedules. We homeschool, so we are extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. Being home often also means pets will not be lonely! We have a good sized fenced yard with plenty of room to run! Our senior dog isn’t high energy, but us easy to get along with.
“Third time with Jenna and cannot say enough good things about her. I’ve used Rover a lot in a bunch of other locations too and she is by far the best sitter we’ve found. Lots of pics everyday and updates. Great easy drop off location.”

“Riley was awesome! Communication was great and she made me feel comfortable about leaving Jack. I would definitely recommend. I appreciated the updates and photos since Jack and I are rarely apart. I plan to book her again.”

“Samantha is AMAZING!! Our boy LOVED being at her home. So much so, he wasn’t that excited to see us when we picked him up 🤣 Her home is set up perfectly to board and she is so communicative. We will absolutely use her again!”

“I only left Eddie overnight, but Michelle sent me tons of photos throughout that I really enjoyed. Her children were so sweet with Eddie. I could tell immediately when I picked him up that he had had a good time and was well taken care of.”

“Ashleigh did an amazing job of taking care of our 14 year old aging dog with all of her meds. Lucky got lots of love, attention, and fresh eggs. We look forward to using Ashleigh’s services again soon.”

“This was the best dog sitting experience we have had! Claire gave us daily updates with photos and we could tell she really loved on our pup! I would 100% recommend her to all my friends and family, she’s amazing! ❤️ Thank you Claire!”

“Bends Hidden Gem! My dog has such a blast with Jill. As she puts it, it’s like going to grandmas house. My dog got to play in her fenced in yard. Go for a walk through the neighborhood , jump up on the couch if he pleased and rummage through her toy bin! Her house stays quite cool in summer so it made for a good escape from the heat. Jill is an excellent communicator and has just a general love and passion for animals. I would highly recommend her for anyone.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I had such a great experience with Lisa as our sitter for our two corgis. It was their first time being somewhere new like this too and quickly adjusted under her care. She was communicative, flexible, adaptable, and provided a cozy and supportive space for our pups. She gave great feedback and I learned a few extra tips from her about my dogs nails. I'd definitely recommend Lisa again!”

About: I am active and enjoy hiking and walks in nature with four legged friends. Your babies will be cared for like family. Sorry, but I don't accept aggressive breeds (Pit bulls, Rottweilers or any dogs over 75lbs.) I love to make animals happy and contented. I believe in positive care and love to them. Their comfort while their parents are away is my priority. My property is fully fenced large lot. I am with them the entire time outside. I have some experience training dogs. I taught commands by voice and hand signals successfully. We can do meet and greets. I am very responsible and would do everything possible to make sure your pet is safe and happy while you are away. I am retired and your pet will have all my attention. I am active and enjoy giving a dog walks in the area as well as playing games in a fenced yard. I have a fenced yard. Luna Park is close by for nice walks. My senior dog has passed, so your dog will have all my attention.

“Savanah was such an amazing sitter to work with! We don’t have many people to rely on to help watch our dog & we are so happy to have found Savanah. She sent us daily updates and took Luna on walks/hikes around town. We will absolutely reach out again!”

“Donna is wonderful! This was our first time leaving our beloved dog, Jet, with anyone other than a family member. We were a little apprehensive to do so, but Donna eased all or fears with her friendly, professional communication. She even sent us videos each day he was with her! The atmosphere she creates is very safe and welcoming. Jet had a great time and we would book her again in a heartbeat!”

“Summer is an exceptional sitter. First time I ever left my dog with a sitter and Summer could have not been better. I felt like Bell was haveing an exceptional time, needs being met, and well taken care of.”

“I can't say enough good things! Our 14 week old puppy had a wonderful time and really enjoyed playing with the other dogs. I received lots of photos and videos every day! Our pup came back after 3 days better at following sit and stay commands and even randomly knowing how to play fetch! She also came back tired and happy! If I lived closer I'd bring my pup here for daily doggy daycare. Thanks for taking care of my little love.”

“Great communication, photos, and overall treated my dog like family. I could tell she was well cared for and happy to be there, which gave me such piece of mind on my trip. Our dogs also got along great and had so much fun playing together!”

My dog Mabel stayed with Lyndsie while I was out of the country for 12 days. I could tell Mabel had a great time during her stay as I got lots of pictures and updates. She has a nice back yard and their dog Murphy was a wonderful play mate. My dog came home tired and happy! I would recommend Lyndsie and use her services again!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
