“Roxanne and Jeff were wonderful with our pup, Doug! We were in contact almost daily with text and photos. We were very comfortable with our meet and greet before we left our baby in their care. They are warm and caring.”

“Angel, our golden retriever, came back relaxed and happy after spending 3 nights in Caitlin's care. She had a good time and got a 3 mile walk one day which gave her a good night's sleep. We will be booking with her on our next trip.”

“We had such an amazing experience with Samantha. She sent so many updates, took our boy on walks, played ball and so much more! We couldn’t have had a better experience definitely will use her again in the future.”

“Ashleigh was amazing. She helped us out last minute and took great care of our dog. He is an older dog with meds and she was so good to him. We got updates and photos daily. She was so easy to communicate with and really loved on my dog while I was away! I would highly recommend Ashleigh!”

“Colleen was so kind to watch our lab on a pretty last minute basis. She was very communicative, friendly, and easy to work with. Our pup was well cared for and came home very happy. We’ll definitely try to book Colleen again and highly recommend her to others.”
“Jill is truly a dog lover! Anyone that can make my hyper-obsessed (with me) Multi-Poo feel at home is a total dog whisperer. Proof in the pudding when I came to pick Oso up he of course loved all over me but then went back inside the house and barked with joy in his eyes. Would absolutely trust her with my little fur baby again and highly recommend to all dog owners. Thank you, Jill!”

“Third time with Jenna and cannot say enough good things about her. I’ve used Rover a lot in a bunch of other locations too and she is by far the best sitter we’ve found. Lots of pics everyday and updates. Great easy drop off location.”

“Robin was awesome! She took the time to get to know Dallas before his stay and the pictures prove how comfortable he was in her home. I will definitely be using Robin in the future if I need a sitter again.”
“Great communication, photos, and overall treated my dog like family. I could tell she was well cared for and happy to be there, which gave me such piece of mind on my trip. Our dogs also got along great and had so much fun playing together!”

“Donna and Steve were great! I left my two dogs with them for 10 days. I received texts and pictures nearly every day. They loved being there. They were able to play with other dogs being sat and run around their beautiful property. I had no worries about the well being of my dogs; they treated them like their own. I will definitely rebook with them.”
About: Your dog will LOVE this fenced 3 acres in the heart of Powell Butte! Dogs have been present my entire life, and I believe they're so much more than pets—they're family! I have years of hands-on experience raising, caring for, and training dogs, from playful puppies to beloved adult companions. I've personally trained two dogs to earn their AKC Canine Good Citizen certifications and have volunteered as a foster home for cats through BrightSide Animal Shelter. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your four-legged family member, and my goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home. Whether it's playtime in our fully fenced 3-acre yard, a leashed stroll on our private 20 acres, a cozy place to relax, or plenty of belly rubs, your pup will be treated like one of my own! I work from home, and with my family's schedule, our house is rarely empty! Your pup will enjoy plenty of companionship, attention, and opportunities to play, relax, and just be a dog. We have two dogs of our own who are great friends and accustomed to family life: Kelly (8) the field spaniel and Archie (4) the standard poodle. Archie is timid and takes time to warm up to new dogs. Enthusiastic greetings can feel like a little too much, too fast for him. You have two options for your dog's stay with us: Option 1) Separate but pampered (see below for a detailed description). My spacious home and flexible schedule easily accommodates 100% separate routines for our dogs and yours. As a Brightside foster, we've done this for years. I easily manage different playtimes, outdoor adventures, feeding schedules, and relaxation time so everyone feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Option 2) Let them meet and establish dog boundaries. This can look like Archie barking to say "give me space." Once they've met and communicated in their canine ways, we've seen our dogs and guest dogs all peacefully co-exist together, run around, and find their own playful balance. Here's what "Separate but Pampered" looks like: Your dog's bed, food, and water will be with me in my in-home office. Your pup spends the day with me as I work from home. While I'm working and have your dog near my feet, my dogs are out running the fenced 3 acres and living their best dog life! When it's time to stretch your dog's legs, go potty, and run around, my dogs go into our cushy workshop where they have water and comfy beds. It gives them a chance to relax, too. At night, my dogs always sleep together in our laundry room. Your dog would sleep in my bedroom with me (in their crate, on their dog bed, or on my bed - whatever you prefer). In the morning, we feed separately and start the routine over. Although it sounds like a lot to manage for some, I've been doing this for years (as a foster) and now it comes naturally for me. Your dog's happiness and well-being are my priority, and I'll happily follow their usual routines to help them feel right at home! I know that being away from Mom or Dad in a new place can be stressful enough, so my goal is to make the transition from your home to mine as seamless and comfortable as possible! I believe in following your lead when it comes to caring for your pup. Whether it's specific feeding times, mealtime routines, favorite sleeping spots, bedtime traditions, or little quirks that make your dog unique, I'm happy to accommodate! I'll follow your instructions as closely as possible to keep things familiar and predictable. Above all, I want your dog to feel safe, loved, and right at home. I'll provide plenty of affection, attention, and opportunities to play, while respecting the routines and boundaries you've established. Think of my home as your pup's home away from home!
“Dexter’s first overnight with Lisa and Dave was fabulous. I knew he was in a safe and attentive environment from their frequent and detailed updates. Lisa and Dave adjusted to Dexters regimented feeding schedule with ease and made sure he was comfortable. Plus, Dexter has two new friends in Fezzi and Scout, their Cavaliers. I will be booking with them again!”

“Millie and her family were so great to my pup while I was gone for the weekend. I appreciate their photos and updates and they made sure she was right at home with them. Thank you for being so communicative and for including her all weekend!”

“Renee and Richard were so kind in assisting us with our crazy scheduling. Thank you so much. Rover was taken care of wonderfully and we greatly appreciate the care and warm and open invitation that we received upon arrival. We received pictures of walks and couch surfing every day. Thank you both so much. Greatly appreciate your care towards our girl. Regards”

About: I have had the opportunity to raise all sorts of animals from chickens, goats, iguanas, to even an African Grey Parrot. As well as many pups. I've gained a lot of knowledge and practice in crate and potty training, teaching tricks and obedience, and even breaking some bad habits. Although if you have any pointers on the bob barkers, I'm all ears!!! I currently work 1 day out of the house, and the rest of the week I work from home, so I am able to be around most of the day with my own pups at my own schedule. I have a fenced yard and 2 very friendly well behaved pups who would keep your pet company at all times. I also have my own large crate from when my last pup was still in training, in case it's needed. My significant other and I are very outdoorsy and love keeping the dogs burning energy any chance we get, playing fetch outside and teaching tricks for treats!
About: Hi! I'm Naomi, a lifelong animal lover based in Bend, Oregon. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets as if they were family. I share my home with two dogs and a cat, so I'm comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your dog loves long walks and adventures or prefers a slower pace and plenty of cuddles, I'm happy to tailor my care to what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I offer dependable, attentive care with regular photo updates, so you'll always know how your pets are doing while you're away. I'm experienced with feeding schedules, administering oral medications, reinforcing routines, and giving pets the patience and affection they deserve. My goal is simple: to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pets. I treat every animal in my care like one of my own, providing plenty of love, exercise, playtime, and companionship. * Experienced caring for both dogs and cats * Comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and multiple-pet households * Reliable, responsible, and communicative * Flexible scheduling * Daily walks, playtime, and enrichment * Regular photo and message updates * Calm, patient approach that helps pets feel at home I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets. Let's schedule a meet-and-greet so we can make sure it's the perfect fit! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Whether your pet is staying overnight, stopping by for a visit, or joining me for a walk, they'll receive consistent care, exercise, and lots of affection. I plan my day around the pets in my care, making sure they have regular potty breaks, meals on their normal schedule, playtime, walks, and time to relax. I believe keeping pets on their usual routine helps them feel comfortable and reduces stress while you're away. When your pet stays with me, they'll be treated like part of the family. I strive to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where they can feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. I take the time to learn each pet's routine—including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, favorite toys, sleeping habits, and any medications or special instructions. Keeping their routine as consistent as possible helps them settle in and feel at home. My home features a fully fenced backyard, giving dogs a secure place to run, play, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors under my supervision. In addition to backyard playtime, each day includes walks, enrichment activities, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Safety is always my top priority. Pets are never left outside unattended, I closely supervise all interactions, and I maintain a clean, pet-friendly home where they can relax and feel at ease.
About: I’ve cared for dogs since elementary school taking care of two family dogs with very high energy! Now a work from home dog dad, I can provide plenty of attention to your furry friends. Including morning, lunch time, and evening walks to get the zoomies out, play tug of war, or some simple fetch. I work from home and tend to have very limited scheduled meetings. This allows me to be flexible with my week day schedule as I’m available 8am and on to take care and play with your dogs. Weekends I am typically busy with an outdoors adventure, but am always open to adding a furry friend to join my pup on outings. I have a completely fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run around and get the zoomies out. I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood with a great 20-30 minute walking loop and quick access to the Deschutes river if your dog loves the water.

“Susan was fantastic! From our earliest of conversations until we picked up Wilson, Susan gave us the reassurance and confidence that our beloved pooch was in great care. We absolutely LOVED the photo and text updates that she provided showing us all of his adventures from walks and hikes, playtime with other dogs, and even a swim (which he loves)! Wilson is usually one to opt-out of a meal while we are on the road or traveling with him, but he ate right away with Susan on the first night, showing that he felt comfortable and "at home" with her. I would highly recommend Susan to others looking to have their dog spend time away from home. She is so kind and really made us feel so good about Wilson's visit with her. We will definitely reach out to her again when we are traveling in the Bend area as it was such a good experience for us and of course our happy dog!”

“Sarah was awesome! She helped Jasper settle in the first night when he was feeling anxious. She took him for walks and to the park, sent updates and pics. He quickly relaxed and enjoyed his staycation. I will definitely use Sarah and again and would recommend her to friends.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
