About: I don't have a lot of cat care experience but what I have done has been pretty easy. I think the biggest thing I've learned is that each cat is very different. When I'm around I love to give them pets and attention but not all cats want that, so I tend to let them come to me. As long as I take fare of food, water, litter, they seem to be pretty happy ?. One thing that might set me apart from other cat sitters would be that I will give them all the attention they want when I'm around. They want to sit on my lap while I eat dinner? Fine. About: We love animals! We have a big yard, but we’re usually home with our pets. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them, while still being adaptable to less friendly dogs who want space. I am generally home during the day, and extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. The pets we watch at home often feel like a part of our family! About: My family always had dogs since I can remember. I hardly miss any opportunity for some dog pets. In the past, I did an internship at a veterinary clinic, and volunteered at an animal sanctuary. I am experienced taking care of young and old pups, and simple medical care is no problem. I have worked at an equine therapy farm and also gained skills on a high country station in NZ working with Clydesdale horses and herding dogs. About: Hi, I’m Dinah! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up on a small farm, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Over the past five years, my bond with my two dogs, Polly and Moose, has grown especially strong. Polly is an Akbash/Anatolian Shepherd, and Moose is an Aussiedoodle. We love going on daily adventures together and typically get out for 3–4 walks a day. They’re both friendly, easygoing, and happy to meet and play with other dogs, as long as your pup is comfortable with that. I’ve worked in healthcare for nine years and currently work part-time as a registered nurse, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate quality time to pet care. I’m excited to extend my passion for animals by helping care for yours: whether that’s drop-in visits while you’re away or bringing your dog along on our fun, active outings. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and give them the same attention and affection I give my own! I currently work part-time as a registered nurse so I have lots of time on my hands, including weekdays and weekends, to watch and play with your pups! I have a fenced yard and multiple parks around my neighborhood to take your pups on adventures. My two dogs are friendly and always excited to have a friend visit. About: Hey, I'm Riley! I grew up in Bend, OR my whole life. I moved to Texas in 2019, and just moved back in the middle of 2025. I ran a dog sitting business in Texas and had the pleasure of watching over 200 dogs during my time there (in and outside of Rover). Watching dogs has brought so much joy into my life, and I’ve built strong relationships with both the pets and their owners - I've never had a single client with a bad experience. Aside from dog watching, I’m a local insurance agent with the flexibility of being able to work remote whenever I want to. If needed, I’ll never leave your pups alone unless it’s for a quick grocery run or needed errand. My guarantee: - I never board dogs from different owners at the same time. - While leashed, no dog will ever get away from me, no matter the size. I am bigger than 99% of people and will always remain in control. - Your dog will remember me if we meet again! I spend lots of time loving on these dogs😁 Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! I’m available on call 24/7! Since I’m not required to be in the office at all times, my schedule is super flexible with being able to do this. Depending on your dog’s needs, I will always give TONS of attention and affection! I give walks & potty breaks every 1-2 hours. Even more often for puppies.
About: I’ve watched and lived with lots of animals. I love helping out neighbors and friends with their amazing pets while they are on vacation or need any help at all! I currently work part time at the airport and a part time student. Only work in the middle of the day on Sundays but most other days I work 2am-7am. I have a fenced yard at home! In other clients home I am very respectful to their home and do exactly what the client needs me to be available for!
About: It is all about having peace of mind! I am hoping that by offering my services, I can give pet owners a sense of security while they are away and their dogs are left alone. I wish I could have more dogs personally myself, but I have a 2 year old Beagle who I raised from 7 weeks old. He is the love of my life and he has taught me so much more than I could have ever taught him! By offering services on Rover I am looking to help people out who have suffered the same anxiety about leaving their dog at home like I used to. About: I have been around dogs of different temperaments and personalies my whole life and I'm the kind of person who stops to pet every dog I come across. When I spend time with my dogs I enjoy being outside and active, just as much as hanging out and giving pets. I've never met a dog I didn't get along with, and I promise they'll love hanging out with me (maybe too much). I like to either go for a walk, run, ski, or maybe even for an excursion into the mountains. It really depends on the dog though. If we need to keep it low-key then we'll just do a few laps in the neighborhood or even just hang out at home. Aside from getting the pup some exercise, I will often go spend time with friends or go run errands. In these cases I like to bring the dog with me as much as possible, but again, it depends on the dog. If you have a younger dog I can do some very basic training in obedience, commands and behavior. I work inconsistent hours and days. Outside of that I spend time outside or at the house cooking and hanging out with friends. Typically if I'm not working I will spend most of the day with the pet. When I do work, I can be gone 8 to 14 hours, so I like to get up super early to walk the dog, and take care of chores. This really depends on the pet. Some dogs like to flee if they get out, some like to stay around the people. Some dogs are friendly to other dogs, some are not. Some are all bark and no bite, some no bark and all bite. Learning how the dog does in different situations helps me figure out where I can take them, and how to take care of them and keep them safe. I think the big thing about house sitting is making sure they have everything they need before I leave them for an extended period of time: taking them out to poo, making sure they're fed, making sure there's no human food left out for them to snatch, etc.
