Got a more relaxed and calm dog? We can go to the park and read a nice book together! I am a recently graduated college student waiting to start my Masters program so my days are vastly open! About: I was a volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society (OHS) for six years, caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I now work as an Animal Care Technician at an animal Shelter. My experience goes beyond feeding and walking animals—I’ve been trained in animal wellbeing, calm handling, basic behavioral training, basic grooming, introducing new dogs to other dogs, playgroups, pack walks, and leadership. I can also administer some medications if needed as well. At OHS, I served as a team lead, led tours, ran camps, trained new volunteers, and even taught a few classes. About: I have been around dogs of different temperaments and personalies my whole life and I'm the kind of person who stops to pet every dog I come across. When I spend time with my dogs I enjoy being outside and active, just as much as hanging out and giving pets. I've never met a dog I didn't get along with, and I promise they'll love hanging out with me (maybe too much). I like to either go for a walk, run, ski, or maybe even for an excursion into the mountains. It really depends on the dog though. If we need to keep it low-key then we'll just do a few laps in the neighborhood or even just hang out at home. Aside from getting the pup some exercise, I will often go spend time with friends or go run errands. In these cases I like to bring the dog with me as much as possible, but again, it depends on the dog. If you have a younger dog I can do some very basic training in obedience, commands and behavior. I work inconsistent hours and days. Outside of that I spend time outside or at the house cooking and hanging out with friends. Typically if I'm not working I will spend most of the day with the pet. When I do work, I can be gone 8 to 14 hours, so I like to get up super early to walk the dog, and take care of chores. This really depends on the pet. Some dogs like to flee if they get out, some like to stay around the people. Some dogs are friendly to other dogs, some are not. Some are all bark and no bite, some no bark and all bite. Learning how the dog does in different situations helps me figure out where I can take them, and how to take care of them and keep them safe. I think the big thing about house sitting is making sure they have everything they need before I leave them for an extended period of time: taking them out to poo, making sure they're fed, making sure there's no human food left out for them to snatch, etc.

About: I’ve been pet sitting and doing check in’s for neighbors, employees, customers and the community for almost 5 years now. They rely on me to care from their pets as my own. I currently work full time Tuesday-Friday from 5am-3:30pm. I am not able to leave for potty breaks. After work I usually spend the rest of the day with the animals. I have a dog of my own that I trained myself, and I’ve cared for pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or has special needs, I’m happy to tailor my care to what makes them feel most comfortable. If your dog enjoys having a playmate, mine would love to join them for walks or playtime (with your approval, of course!). I’m a flight attendant, so pet sitting is the perfect way for me to spend my time when I’m home. I’m typically home about half of each month, and during those days I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets plenty of attention and work around their normal routine. I have experience caring for pets both in my home and in their own, although I generally prefer caring for them in their familiar environment whenever possible. I can administer basic care, crate pets if needed, provide walks, playtime, enrichment, and even trips to the park if that’s something they enjoy. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I am a flight attendant so this is a great job for when I am not flying which is normally about half the month. When I am home I have practically uninterrupted time so I can work around what kind of care you are needing. I am very familiar with watching dogs in their own home and my own but would prefer it be in their own home. I can crate them if needed, walk, play, and or take them to the park if they enjoy that.

About: I have been dogsitting and dog walking for over 10 years, with experience from puppies, to mature senior dogs. My dog recently passed away, at the ripe old age of 12, so I am accustomed to accommodating elderly dog's needs. I love to run and hike, and having a dog come along is the best part of those activities! I am recent graduate with my MSW from Boise State and I am spending my summer in Central Oregon as I transition into a career job! I will be working part time (occasionally full time) at the Bend Parks and Rec summer camp department, and would love to take your dog on outdoor adventures with me! I have my own vehicle that is well suited to transporting dogs to parks and trail networks. I can’t take dogs at my house, but would be happy to provide drop in visits and longer outings throughout the week. I will be working at the Bend Parks and Rec summer camp program, usually about 20-35 hours per week, so I might have some flexibility in my schedule. Currently I cannot care for pets at my home during this summer. I have my own vehicle and can visit homes to care for dogs in the central Oregon area.

About: I have worked at stables, vet clinics and volunteered with rescues. I'm a "human" Nurse, but my skill set transfers easily to animals. Care, patience and tons of love. I am capable of administering medications, and skilled at special needs for dogs. I work M-Th 6-4. I am available for overnight stays, primarily on weekends! Overnights on weekdays are for animals that can be home alone during my work hours. I have lots of energy to engage and play! I do need to be able to leave periodically to check on my doggo at my own home and go out to eat, so no separation anxiety pets please. I have an escape artist dog at home. My senses are keen. I am always aware and would be the same for your pet/pets at your home. A watchful eye!

About: We’ll have done Rover for 6 years but, have experience as a dog walker and sitter for the last 8 . Savanah works in Wildland fire works but, due to the nature of the job has 6 months of the year to take care of your critter! Amber is available in the spring and summer months while I’m doing fire. We love being active with your animals. We are happy to walk and or trail run with your pooch. We own a home with a secure fence and lots of grass with plenty of room to roam also near a park perfect for play! We reside in a nice neighborhood with many places for exercising and hiking. We will provide detail and care for your dog no matter what his or her needs may be. I’m a wildland firefighter and due to the nature of my job I am home in the fall and winter with an open schedule to be available to care for your critter! I am blessed to live in a great neighborhood with miles of trails for hiking and walking. I live directly across from a park where your dog can roll in the grass. I also have a fully secure fenced yard for your pooch!

All walks are supervised and coordinated through me, and if you prefer that I personally handle every walk, I’m always happy to do so. Whether your pet needs exercise, companionship, grooming, or loving care while you’re away, they’ll be treated with the same kindness, patience, and attention I give my own pets. About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life but professionally for about 3 years now on and off. My client is not only your dog/cat but you. I offer dogsitting, drop in visits, and dog walking. I make sure walks are long enough so that the dog gets enough time outside and except size but not too strenuous for smaller or older dogs. I have about 2 years of experience in taking care of pets in my neighborhood. My clients include large dogs (German Shepard, Black Lab), frogs, snakes and a bird, as well as my own four dogs back home ranging from chihuahua to black lab. I love to play and take care of animals, they’re more a friend than a pet. Animals tend to have a natural attraction towards me and my priority is to make sure they are happy and safe. I currently work part-time so I have space in my days for taking care of your pet! You can expect me to available most weekdays, Friday and Saturdays. I ran a dog sitting business in Texas and had the pleasure of watching over 200 dogs during my time there (in and outside of Rover). Watching dogs has brought so much joy into my life, and I’ve built strong relationships with both the pets and their owners - I've never had a single client with a bad experience. Aside from dog watching, I’m a local insurance agent with the flexibility of being able to work remote whenever I want to. If needed, I’ll never leave your pups alone unless it’s for a quick grocery run or needed errand. My guarantee: - I never board dogs from different owners at the same time. - While leashed, no dog will ever get away from me, no matter the size. I am bigger than 99% of people and will always remain in control. - Your dog will remember me if we meet again! I spend lots of time loving on these dogs😁 Looking forward to meeting you and your pup!
