About: I was a volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society (OHS) for six years, caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I now work as an Animal Care Technician at an animal Shelter. My experience goes beyond feeding and walking animals—I’ve been trained in animal wellbeing, calm handling, basic behavioral training, basic grooming, introducing new dogs to other dogs, playgroups, pack walks, and leadership. I can also administer some medications if needed as well. At OHS, I served as a team lead, led tours, ran camps, trained new volunteers, and even taught a few classes. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all of my life. At one time my family had 17 dogs…3 adults and 14 puppies. I also have taken care of cats and was even a foster cat mom for kittens for a no kill shelter. I love to walk dogs and teach them how to behave on a leash. I walked my neighbor’s dog for many years.
