“Donna made our semi-difficult pup instantly comfortable when she skillfully introduced him to the group of dogs she was boarding. She sent sweet videos every day and even met us half way to deliver our pup on his last day. We definitely recommend boarding with Donna and her husband. They are really kind and awesome dog people!”
“Jeff and Roxanne were wonderful. They made our trip stress free by providing updates, ensuring that Rylie was in good hands. Would not hesitate using them in the future.”

“Renee and Richard have been wonderful! I needed a sitter last minute and even requested to extend the time. They were so accommodating and wonderful with Zoe! They sent several pics of their daily activities! I highly recommend them!”

“Megan and her family were the best sitters I’ve ever had! I had no worry or anxiety about her staying with Megan after the first day or two when I realized she was in great hands. Megan has a naturally calm and caring energy, was responsive, and seemed to genuinely enjoy Zolas company (my Zola is a very loving, but high energy and high attention pup. Megan picked up on behavioral oddities and anxieties that one would only notice if they were really paying attention and cared. Additionally the grounds were safe and spacious for lots of exercise time! To top it off, this booking was last minute when we found out our house closing date was being pushed back, not one, but TWO times. Megan was there to gladly take Zola for another week. In all, Zola stayed for about 10 days and returned to me healthy and happy and exercised. I would highly recommend Megan!”

About: Our family loves animals! We have a big yard, but our pets are usually in the house with us. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them. We are home during the day to accommodate various schedules. We homeschool, so we are extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. Being home often also means pets will not be lonely! We have a good sized fenced yard with plenty of room to run! Our senior dog isn’t high energy, but us easy to get along with.
“Shyann was absolutely incredible! She was so sweet and caring to my dog and sent multiple updates and photos/videos each day to keep me in the loop with how he was doing. Will absolutely book again!”

“Angel, our golden retriever, came back relaxed and happy after spending 3 nights in Caitlin's care. She had a good time and got a 3 mile walk one day which gave her a good night's sleep. We will be booking with her on our next trip.”

“Archie instantly felt at home! Darla and I talked for a few minutes about Archie's needs while he and one of her own dogs played. The four night stay was brutal for me but Darla sent texts and pictures that helped ease my anxiety,I knew he was safe, cared for and happy.”

“We are really happy with how Britney cared for our pup. She responded very quickly and was a great communicator. She sent a pic and a video of him playing with her dogs. We will definitely be booking her again for care.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs since I was 9 but have always been the reliable choice for neighbors, family, and friends when it comes to watching over others. I have two dogs of my own (which I’ve raised from two months old) with different personalities, so I’m well versed in dealing with high energy and slightly reactive dogs. I have a hybrid schedule - work from home 2 days a week and work in Bend 3 days a week. I’m always looking for an excuse to take a screen break which is the perfect time to take your pup on a walk (at least two times during my work hours 7am-4pm). I’m used to crate training and can assist with that if needed and love to spend time outside with my own dogs to let them run their energy out. My dogs receive daily supplements, so if your dog has specific needs for meals, I’m your girl.
“Otis had such a blast with Lisa and was so well cared for. We had some instructions for Lisa to provide minor medical care for Otis during his stay with her. She was so kind and supportive and handling this as well as providing a lot of comfort and companionship for him while we were away. She also trimmed Otis’ nails and cleaned up some paw fur that was irritating him. She built a lot of trust with him and he felt so at home in her care. Couldn’t ask for more.”

“Third time with Jenna and cannot say enough good things about her. I’ve used Rover a lot in a bunch of other locations too and she is by far the best sitter we’ve found. Lots of pics everyday and updates. Great easy drop off location.”

“Tania is one of the best Rovers that we have ever used. She is incredibly kind and has a lovely home and family to leave your pup with. Mark has stayed with her 3 times already and we feel so comfortable knowing that he is in great hands! I would highly recommend Tania, we will continue to use her as our #1 Rover! Thank you for always taking such great care of our big burly fluff ball!”

“Jill is truly a dog lover! Anyone that can make my hyper-obsessed (with me) Multi-Poo feel at home is a total dog whisperer. Proof in the pudding when I came to pick Oso up he of course loved all over me but then went back inside the house and barked with joy in his eyes. Would absolutely trust her with my little fur baby again and highly recommend to all dog owners. Thank you, Jill!”

“We had such an amazing experience with Samantha. She sent so many updates, took our boy on walks, played ball and so much more! We couldn’t have had a better experience definitely will use her again in the future.”

About: I am a dog lover! I can help with all dogs, especially senior dogs, administering medications and special needs. Crate and bed provided if necessary bring your own special diet. I am a retired senior, who is very active, has my own springer spaniel dog, who is very friendly and we will provide lots of love. I have a beautiful fenced yard and plenty of space to run. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Prineville
Donna was fantastic with our dog, June! She sent lots of photos and updates throughout the stay, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear that June was having a wonderful time. When we picked her up, she came home happy, relaxed, and pleasantly tired from all the fun and exercise. Donna has a beautiful property with plenty of space for dogs to run and play, and it's obvious she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust Donna with June again. Highly recommend!

Shannon was great! This was our first time we boarded our dogs with a sitter. She played with our high energy dogs, took them for walks. She was ready for us when we arrived and when I picked the dogs up she had all of their stuff ready to go. They wanted to continue playing with her when it was time to leave. This is the second time we have had Shannon take care of our dogs. They enjoyed her the last time we had her do some dog walking for us. She is patient and caring with our sometimes difficult dogs.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
