Megan picked up on behavioral oddities and anxieties that one would only notice if they were really paying attention and cared. Additionally the grounds were safe and spacious for lots of exercise time! To top it off, this booking was last minute when we found out our house closing date was being pushed back, not one, but TWO times. Megan was there to gladly take Zola for another week. About: Our family loves animals! We have a big yard, but our pets are usually in the house with us. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them. We are home during the day to accommodate various schedules. We homeschool, so we are extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. Being home often also means pets will not be lonely! We have a good sized fenced yard with plenty of room to run! Our senior dog isn’t high energy, but us easy to get along with.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs since I was 9 but have always been the reliable choice for neighbors, family, and friends when it comes to watching over others. I have two dogs of my own (which I’ve raised from two months old) with different personalities, so I’m well versed in dealing with high energy and slightly reactive dogs. I have a hybrid schedule - work from home 2 days a week and work in Bend 3 days a week. I’m always looking for an excuse to take a screen break which is the perfect time to take your pup on a walk (at least two times during my work hours 7am-4pm). I’m used to crate training and can assist with that if needed and love to spend time outside with my own dogs to let them run their energy out. My dogs receive daily supplements, so if your dog has specific needs for meals, I’m your girl.

About: We have both been around and owned dogs since we were kids. I worked in a vet clinic from the time I was 14 all throughout high school. I also worked with a dog groomer for a few summers. I am an Animal Behavior College certified Dog Trainer as well as a wildlife biologist. Let's just say I love animals!! We are cat lovers too and would be more than happy to care for them also! We would provide the same level care for your pets as you do. We like to treat them like a member of our family and hope that they enjoy their time with us so much that they hardly know you are away. We know it is an honor and a privilege to be trusted with caring for your fury family member and we take that seriously and strive to never disappoint. I currently work from home for my main career as a Spatial Data Analyst (wildlife related). Your pet would have someone around aside from the occasional trip to the store or other errand. I will always communicate openly about my schedule during your visit so you are aware of any times I may have to be out of the house. I have a large fenced backyard and a 4-year-old Great Dane to keep your dog company! Thus, for stays in my home your dog must be dog-friendly, non-aggressive, and not afraid of large breeds. I also have four cats. I do have a doggie gate that keeps the cats separated, but one of them can jump the gate as she likes to sit on top of the kitchen cupboards and observe. Aaron and I have two sons, ages 7 and 10. They both have been around dogs their entire lives and are very used to respecting their space and letting dogs warm up to them. With that said, they are still kids. So for stays in our home, your dog will have to be good with other dogs, young kids, and cats. For stays in your home, your dog ideally will be okay with kids but my kids don't always need to come with depending on the dates of the stay.

I've never met a dog I didn't get along with, and I promise they'll love hanging out with me (maybe too much). I like to either go for a walk, run, ski, or maybe even for an excursion into the mountains. It really depends on the dog though. If we need to keep it low-key then we'll just do a few laps in the neighborhood or even just hang out at home. Aside from getting the pup some exercise, I will often go spend time with friends or go run errands. In these cases I like to bring the dog with me as much as possible, but again, it depends on the dog. If you have a younger dog I can do some very basic training in obedience, commands and behavior. I work inconsistent hours and days. Outside of that I spend time outside or at the house cooking and hanging out with friends. Typically if I'm not working I will spend most of the day with the pet. When I do work, I can be gone 8 to 14 hours, so I like to get up super early to walk the dog, and take care of chores. This really depends on the pet. Some dogs like to flee if they get out, some like to stay around the people. Some dogs are friendly to other dogs, some are not. Some are all bark and no bite, some no bark and all bite. Learning how the dog does in different situations helps me figure out where I can take them, and how to take care of them and keep them safe. I think the big thing about house sitting is making sure they have everything they need before I leave them for an extended period of time: taking them out to poo, making sure they're fed, making sure there's no human food left out for them to snatch, etc.
About: I’ve lived with or taken care of dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and needs my entire life! Have a high energy and chaotic fur baby? It’s a good thing I love walks and playing! Got a more relaxed and calm dog? We can go to the park and read a nice book together! I am a recently graduated college student waiting to start my Masters program so my days are vastly open! About: I've always had a huge heart for animals and taking care of things in general. I've taken care of my own animals since I was 8 or 9 years old and did 4H for 4 years. Family and friends always had me as there pet sitter because not only was I attentive and took good care of their animals, but I absolutely loved doing it! I'm up for any challenge and any type of animal and I promise to take excellent care of them. I have a couple cats of my own and am very close with my moms dogs who live next door! I am currently in school but taking online classes so I can take my schoolwork wherever I go! I am looking for a part-time job but don’t have one at the moment so I am very flexible with my time. I live in a small house by myself. It is part of a duplex that I share with my mom. She is aware that I will be watching peoples pets on the premises and we both own our own pets, so we are very aware of the risks such as pet hair and accidents. We share a fenced back yard that is pretty large. It is about a quarter of an acre. I have one cat and she is very friendly with other animals. I used to live on a farm with her so she is used to other furry friends.
About: I have my own dog, got him at 12 weeks he is 7 now. I also grew up with dogs as a kid to adulthood. My dog has a lot of health problems so I know a bit when it comes to a sensitive dogs or ones that needs things done a certain way because of a condition. It really depends on the day, but mostly I could so daily or weekly. I’m dealing with some health stuff and my dog has too. So I’m currently working on those but have plenty of time most days to do something like this. I have a fenced in yard for my dog, when I was in college one house I did it so he was constantly on a leash outside, another house I was in had fences but had to patch them up and make sure he couldn’t get out. I also created my dog at night he loves his crate. During the day when he is alone he has most of the house free to roam, but I will put down potty pads just in case. If clients are okay with there dog out or crated I’m for both.
About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and take care of their pets. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and on weekdays. My husband also works from home! About: Our family loves animals! We have a big yard, but our pets are usually in the house with us. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them. We are home during the day to accommodate various schedules. We homeschool, so we are extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. Being home often also means pets will not be lonely! We have a good sized fenced yard with plenty of room to run! Our senior dog isn’t high energy, but us easy to get along with.
