Maggie did a wonderful job with Summer. It was reassuring to know that Summer was in a safe and happy place while we were away. I got regular updates and I know by the smile on Summer's face in the pics that she was happy with Mochi! Definitely will be returning for my future sitting needs. Thank you Maggie!

John - what an amazing, big-hearted, caring individual. From the moment I met him, I knew my beloved Mia would be OK with him at his home. Unassuming, caring, gentle, John has a magic way with dogs. I thought Mia a little "traitor" when I saw her snuggled into John's lap while in his care for a week. I trust Mia, and her reactions, and for me, if she's happy, then we're both happy. I'll be using John as my primary and trusted partner in the future. Thank you so much John!

Rachel takes care of our dogs (young and old). So we'll, we're at ease seeing them have fun with their vacation family. Seriously giving such an endorsement is a little of a conflict of interest lol, because if she's already watching dogs then might not be available for us, but it's where we prefer to take our pups

Jo did a great job with our dog! She sent us so many photos and updates about their day which gave us peace of mind during our trip. She was especially gracious with our dog who was experiencing some separation anxiety. Would recommend her to anyone!

Leaving my girls is always nerve racking but Jordyn was so great with them. She asked all the right questions about their care and updated us on how they were doing. When we picked them up, she was so polite and thanked us for leaving them in her care. She is a sweetheart.

Alexis took amazing care of my dog! The day-to-day at her property is extremely enriching, and she kept my herding breed dog feeling fulfilled. She sends multiple photos and updates throughout the day, and in each of them, my dog looks so happy. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and understands the precautions needed for my dog, who is not dog-friendly and only takes one booking at a time, which I find extremely responsible and gives me peace of mind. She bathed my dog before we picked her up, and I had such great peace of mind knowing not only that my dog was well cared for, but she was having a vacation of her own. I have very high pet care standards, and Alexis went above and beyond.

About: I provide dedicated dog-only daycare with personalized care tailored to each dog’s energy and routine. I specialize in senior dog care — gentle walks, mobility support, medication administration, and low-impact enrichment. Dogs enjoy daily exercise, supervised play, puzzle toys, and cozy home comfort. I send prompt photo updates and detailed notes, and offer flexible scheduling to fit owners’ needs. I offer dog-only daycare for small dogs (under 25 lbs). Available Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, and weekends 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Daily routine includes morning greeting and potty break, a morning walk or play session, mid-day rest with enrichment toys, an afternoon walk/play session, feeding/medication as needed, and a final calm wind-down before pickup. Regular photo updates and notes are sent after each visit. I care for dogs in my home in a calm, dog-only daycare environment (no dog sitting in clients' homes). My household includes an easygoing 11-year-old pug, Milo, and two friendly cats, Jewel (7) and Oliver (1); all are well-socialized and tolerant of visiting small dogs. I accept only small dogs under 25 lbs with friendly, social temperaments to ensure safe, relaxed interactions. In-home routine and care: - Introductions: Gradual, supervised meet-and-greet on arrival to assess comfort and body language. - Supervision: Constant, close supervision during play with separation options (gates/rooms/crates) if any stress appears. - Exercise & enrichment: Leashed walks, short play sessions, and puzzle toys tailored to each dog’s energy level. - Rest & space: Multiple cozy resting areas and quiet time for seniors or shy dogs. Feeding & meds: Individual feeding by schedule; medication administered as directed with written instructions. - Hygiene & safety: Clean, dog-proofed spaces; fresh water always available; immediate cleanup of accidents. - Communication: Photo updates and a brief report after each day covering potty, play, meals, behavior, and any concerns. I prioritize calm, supervised socialization and a stress-free routine to make visiting dogs feel safe and happy alongside Milo, Jewel, and Oliver.

We were so pleased with Marie's time in Jamie's home. We got updates (photos and a video) and communication was top notch! Our pup is usually anxious when away from home but she settled right in and we are already booking our next stay. I can not recommend Jamie enough! Thank you for watching Marie!

Michael is very knowledgeable and truly cares about dogs and will care for yours well too! He’s a natural and will give good tips especially for first time dog owners like ourselves. Skyler came in timid but left more confident yet calm. Michael also did great in communicating with us how Sky was doing during the time she was there. Will definitely be booking with him again in the future!

Jamie took wonderful care of my shy dog. She has an easy going vibe and a great little house with a good sized back yard for running around. My dog is not one to warm right up but he was letting her pet him and sleeping in her bed in no time. I got the cutest photos which put my mind at ease so I could enjoy my trip.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Boarding in Tenino on Rover is $29.96 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 550 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Tenino. About 90% of Tenino sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
