About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have a genuine love for being near animals and taking care of them because they brighten my day. I am currently in college I want to try to make pet sitting a part time job so I can save up for my future. The apartment comples I live in has a dog park where a lot of dogs go and have fun, if there is any type of schedule by the owner/owners I would follow it. I usually try to relax on my free time, reading books and enjoying art, my hobbies give me time to take care of and play with the animals that I care for. About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. We helped co-raise around 6 additional puppies as well. We also love cats, we have a tabby-calico mix named Teva, a lyxn point siamese named Minnie, and a gray siamese mix named Baby. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.
About: All my life, I’ve grown up around animals — cats, dogs, chickens, fish, and more — so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I also studied Animal Science for two years before switching career paths, and I’m currently a nursing student, which means I bring patience, responsibility, and attention to detail to everything I do. I currently live at home with my parents, my mini Aussie, and three cats, so animals are a big part of my daily life. My love and passion for animals has never changed, and I’m committed to making every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently unemployed and doing school fully online, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m home most of the day, so I have plenty of time to focus on walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need. It’s easy for me to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine, and I love having animals be a part of my day. I don’t offer care in my own home, but I’m very comfortable caring for pets in my clients’ homes. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment, and I treat every home with respect and professionalism. My goal is to keep pets happy and stress-free while their owners are away!

“James and his wife were wonderful. Ruby can be quite difficult. She has separation anxiety and whined for a full hour when we left. They loved her anyways. We had arranged for her to be boarded overnight but because of the monsoon like conditions in that area we cut our trip short so only needed Ruby to be looked after for 3 hours. I know Ruby was very well cared for during those 3 hours. James was very accommodating even meeting with us a couple days prior so it wasn't the shell shock for Ruby it could've been.”
