“Tara was fabulous and I will absolutely rebook when I next need a sitter for my cat Coco. She was attentive to Coco’s needs and eccentricities, followed all instructions, and provided detailed reports and photos after each visit. Thank you again, Tara!”

“Rebooked Rebecca to take care of our cat Lucy. Lucy is very careful of new people and as expected wasn't the friendliest the 1st time. This time, Rebecca improvised with her methods and managed to turn Lucy around and have her rolling on her tummy and asking for pets. She gave daily updates and followed the instructions we left. All in all, Rebecca did a great job!”

“Veronica was a great sitter for our cats. Both cats are very timid of new people and our Elsie cat let Veronica pet her on the second visit! Obviously she is a genuine cat person and they appreciate her.”

“Our sweet girl Hazel recently lost her brother very suddenly. She has been struggling with anxiety and associated behaviors pretty bad. We hired Emery for daily drop-in’s to give our girl a little extra TLC. Emery has been so patient with Hazel, gently coaxing her outside even when she doesn’t want to go, and even helping us to figure out what her new preferences are. We are grateful for Emery’s attention to detail, her compassion towards Hazel, and responsiveness to us considering Hazel’s changing needs.”

“So grateful for Hila. She is wonderful and very caring! I love reading her rover cards and looking at all the pictures. Also follows all instructions and is a great communicator.”

“Lisa was a great sitter for our girl!!! She took the time to understand all food, litter, and personality needs. Plus she was easy to work with, prompt, and communicative. We could tell when we got home our cat had been well taken care of. She came in clutch for the holiday season. I would highly recommend Lisa and would love to have her drop-in again in the future!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years, from energetic puppies to giant breeds! I currently have a 4 month old Great Dane named Ozzy, so I’m no stranger to fast-growing pups with big personalities. Some breeds that I’ve worked with include Pit Bulls, Border Collies, a Great Pyrenees, Pomeranians, Boston Terriers, German Shepherds, a Belgian Malinois, Huskies, and more! Pet care is a part of my daily life—I build my routine around the animals I care for. As a pet parent myself, I’m used to early morning feedings, regular walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles throughout the day. I work from home (or have a flexible schedule), which means I’m able to give pets consistent attention and maintain their usual routines. Whether I’m hosting a dog in my home or visiting pets in theirs, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. I’m also used to adjusting my schedule to fit specific feeding times, potty breaks, walks, and medication if needed. Because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, caring for them never feels like a chore—it’s a meaningful and fulfilling part of my day. Safety is my top priority when caring for your pets. Whether it’s making sure gates and doors are securely closed, using proper leash techniques, or keeping harmful items out of reach, I take every precaution to create a secure environment. I’m trained and experienced in recognizing signs of stress or discomfort so I can intervene early and keep your pet calm and safe. Building trust with both pets and their owners is essential. I approach every new animal with patience and respect, allowing them to get comfortable at their own pace. Communication with owners is open and transparent—I provide regular updates, photos, and feedback to ensure you always feel confident and informed about your pet’s care. I strive to create a calm, loving environment where pets feel at home. Whether in your space or mine, I adapt to their routines and preferences, providing consistency that helps reduce anxiety and supports their well-being.

About: I have had dogs around for most of my adult life. I raised a small cocker spaniel who had medical issues and required extra attention. Recently we have raised a bernadoodle puppy, with the help of our dog friends! I also share custody of a boxer and Boston terrier. I am a graduate student at the University of Tennessee. I have a very flexible schedule and come throughout the day or evenings as needed! I’m very comfortable caring for pets and always make it a priority to follow any routines or instructions you have in place. I understand how important consistency is for animals, and I’m happy to stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any special care your pet needs. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after while you're away.

“Emma was so great with my two cats! I got daily updates and pictures and she made sure they were loved on while I was away 🙂 I've already booked her again for the next time I'm out of town!”

About: I have life long experience with dogs. From having pets growing up to working as a dog caretaker at a small pet store/rescue. I have a 4 year old mini golden doodle, Fenway, and regularly watch my neighbors pets when they are on vacation. My family loves having extra pups to share our love with! As a stay at home parent, my schedule is very flexible. I am available every day and can board for several days at a time. I have a large fully fenced yard with a lot of shade that dogs are welcome to play in. I also have a large room in my home designated for pups to play and rest.

“Hillary did a great job taking care of my two cats! They both seemed well loved and well played with when we got back. Hilary did everything that I asked and left me assured that my cats were being taken care of”

“Olivia was very attentive and took great care of my boy! She was sure to keep me up to date on how he was doing while I was away. She also went above and beyond and vacuumed the litter from around the box. Will definitely book with her again when going out of town!”

She’s also been a huge part of our dog’s life since he was a puppy. From potty training to leash walking to playtime and snuggles, she’s been patient, reliable, and so loving. We trust her completely with our pets and our home. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pets like family, Emma is the one.”

Lauren S.
“Lauren has been watching our animals for the last 8 years whenever we need a helping hand or have to be away from home. She does a great job making sure to understand pets quirks, asking about special requirements and showing up as expected. We currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat that makes sure to greet her, in their own way (head butts, flopping on their belly, or lots of licking.) She’s responsible, asks questions and overall does a fabulous job!”

Ten Mile cat parents share their Rover experiences
I was nervous about leaving my nervous cat alone, but Emma was great with her and managed to coax her out from her hiding spots each day! I could tell by the pictures that Ruby felt comfortable with her. I highly recommend Emma and would definitely use her again in the future!

Mary was an outstanding caregiver to our animals-dog and a cat. We had her as a drop in care for the entire week. She went above and beyond the service. She gave daily walks and even gave our dog a bath. She genuinely cares for wellbeing and met every single need. Her communication is great. Daily updates with photos and videos. Highly recommend!!!

Natalie was the best! She too care of my two senior cats while I was out of the country. She gave regular feedback with photos and was very generous with attention and treats each visit. I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing that Natalie was taking care of my girls at home.

This was my first time leaving the cats with a sitter that wasn't a friend or family member, so I was a little nervous about our week away. Mama and Randy are older cats who are apprehensive with anyone besides myself or my husband, so the job is primarily to feed them, scoop litter and look for them under the bed. That being said, Chloe very quickly eased all my worries and went above and beyond to make sure they were okay, allowing me to truly enjoy our vacation. Her daily visits and updates were punctual and detailed, and she always managed to find both kitties, no matter where they were hiding. We were shocked when she managed to snap some shots of both of them out and about in the house - they rarely show themselves to anyone - and I credit that to Chloe's general vibe and clear love of animals. Pets can sense when they're safe! Chloe followed my crazy directions to a tee and everything was cleaner than we left it. Randy has gotten in the bad habit of doing some of his business outside the litter box (much to my embarrassment), but Chloe dealt with that exceptionally well. I'm especially grateful to her for being so cool about that! She also kept our Christmas tree watered and got our mail (which was supposed to have been held by the post office, I didn't realize it was still arriving!), and we came home to find everything in perfect order. I'm delighted to have had such a wonderful experience with a kind, friendly and professional sitter, and I truly believe the cats knew they were in good hands. I would not hesitate to hire Chloe again to care for my babies... it's clear that she is a true animal lover and a natural at the job!

Caylee did an amazing job! I have 2 chickens and a Bearded Dragon in addition to my single cat listed on the app. Caylee was super accommodating in their care and we were able to work out a rate that worked for the additional pets that Rover didn’t allow me to list. I received photos and updates about them that really made me feel more comfortable leaving them alone for so long, especially over the Christmas holidays. I am very pleased and hope everyone has this fantastic of an experience in their pet sitting. Caylee is a kind, fantastic animal lover, of all species and I cannot express enough how grateful I am.
