“Rika was a fantastic pet sitter! My dog had a blast at her house. She sent me detailed updates on how my dog was doing, along with amazing pictures (they were honestly better than the ones I’ve taken myself). She truly took great care of my dog. I will 100% rebook her the next time I need a pet sitter. I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciate her for this boarding. Thank you, Rika!”

“Cathy and Andres were great and our dog Ruby was well taken care of. They sent plenty of photo and video updates each day while we were away. They work from home so were able to be attentive to our dogs needs and made sure she got plenty of exercise and playtime with their dog Charlie! They were very attentive and quick to respond to all messages and questions we had. We were so happy to find them and hope to have Ruby stay with them again the next time we are out of town!”

“Haijin and Victor were fantastic with both of our dogs. One of our dogs is nervous and has a difficult time with new people and situations. Haijin and Victor were so great with him. Within a day of staying at their home, I got pictures of my nervous guy looking relaxed and happy. I highly recommend them.”

“She was great with my senior dog, Nano. She truly cares and was very attentive. Nano needed daily medication, and she sent me pictures along with updates on how he was doing every day. I would definitely leave my dog with her again and highly recommend her services.”

“She’s an excellent dog sitter who followed specific instructions regarding my dog’s care, diet, and routine. Kept me updated with messages or photos during her time with my dog. Also the environment is clean, safe and suitable for my dog.”

“I can’t recommend Vicky and her husband Bill enough! After interviewing several pet sitters, Vicky immediately stood out. Her home is spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for my dog. She took the time to really understand my pup’s needs and made every effort to accommodate her, creating a warm and loving environment. This was my third time booking with her after doing a couple of trial runs, and I recently left my dog in her care for 10 days. Vicky provided consistent, thoughtful updates every single day—complete with photos and videos that showed just how well my girl was doing. It was clear from my dog’s happy, calm demeanor when I picked her up that she had been truly cared for and loved like family. Both Vicky and Bill are attentive, gentle, and clearly passionate about animals. I feel incredibly lucky to have found them and will absolutely continue to book with them in the future.”

“Our dog had a great stay with Jim. He got to go on hikes, go in the doggy pool, and loved playing with the other dogs. We would highly recommend.”

“Parker's favorite place when we're out of town. We really appreciate the care & attention he receives with Ye & his family. Couldn't ask for more.”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my fur baby with Jasmine. Rosie seemed like she had a good time with the other pups Jasmine was watching. Looking forward to our next stay.”

“Angelica was a great Host and was able to accommodate a last minute request I had. She took great care of Dragon and even let her sleep in bed with her when Dragon was feeling homesick. I picked up a tired and happy pup. Thanks, Angelica!”

“Marina recently watched our dog, Prada, for a total of 8.5 days while we were on vacation. Prada’s long-time dogsitter recently moved to NYC, so we had to interview and select a new dogsitter. We had meet-and-greets with five sitters before selecting Marina. Then, we had Prada hang out with Marina for a day just to make sure there was a good fit. Why did we go through so much trouble? Prada is our baby, and she’s turning 18 soon. She’s deaf and blind in one eye and has a bad hip. Also, her separation anxiety got even worse during COVID. Even at home, she would sometimes wake up in the middle of the night, pacing around looking for her humans and whining. She also generally doesn’t really like other dogs or humans for that matter. You got it, she’s not easy to deal with. We selected Marina because she had a calm, confident air about her. She had experience working with old dogs, and we felt that Prada would be comfortable with her. Also, she was very responsive. We changed our travel plans a couple of times and even had to deal with a flight cancellation on the way out of the country, and on each occasion, she was patient and understanding. Once the stay started, Marina did not disappoint. She carefully read through the instructions that I had left with her and also noticed that we had put Prada’s anxiety medication (so she doesn’t pace and whine at night) in the pill pockets (apparently, that degrades the pills, but I didn’t know that). So, she took all the pills out of the pill pockets and said she’d give her the drug only if necessary. Prada did fine the first night but then woke up and paced around at 3am next night. Marina was very understanding of that and said she would give Prada a pill the next night but would monitor and medicate only as needed. A few nights later, Prada pooped in the middle of the night, stepped in it, and then walked around the house. Again, no drama from Marina. She was very understanding. Throughout the visit, Marina sent pictures and updates. Then, when we went to pick Prada up, we were pleasantly surprised to find that she had washed Prada’s bed and blanket for us! I can sing her praises forever and am probably forgetting some stories, but the long and short of it is, we’ve found our regular dogsitter going forward. Thanks Marina!”

“Smokey’s first stay with Madalyn was great! She’s patient and asked all about his habits and such. She was so responsive and provided updates. We are so grateful to have found her!”

“Philip did his job a little too well...my dogs came home sad they didn't have Philip and friends to play with anymore! Philip was so great with my dogs, he regularly sent updates that were detailed and exciting to see. He is very quick to respond to any questions and made sure my dogs were comfortable and having fun with the other dogs. Highly recommend him, I have already booked him again for my next trip!”

“Our pup Ruby had an amazing time at Peggy's house! She loved running around in the big, beautiful backyard and got lots of attention while she was there. Peggy was in constant communication with us, sending pictures and giving us updates daily. She was also super accommodating when we need to adjust our reservation. I highly recommend her!”

“Yifan took great care of my pet and kept me updated with photos every day. I could tell my furry friend was happy and well-loved. Highly recommend!”

“Laura was a great sitter and my dog Nico loved her. Laura was great with sending updates and was very accommodating with drop off and pick ups. Would book her again and recommend her to others as well!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 15 years, including my own two small-breed dogs and two cats. I specialize in grooming and provide a calm, clean, and cage-free home—ideal for small pets who need personalized attention. I’m experienced in administering supplements, following precise feeding routines, and offering one-on-one companionship. Friends and clients have long trusted me to care for their pets as if they were my own family. I currently work from home full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. I'm available for boarding every day, including weekends and holidays, and I ensure your pet stays on their routine with regular feeding, playtime, and bathroom breaks. Your pet will stay in a quiet, smoke-free home with two gentle small dogs and no children. They’ll live freely in our shared space like part of the family, and will not be crated or kept apart—unless requested. Pets are welcome on furniture if they’re comfortable. My home is secure, clean, and ideal for small dogs who enjoy a calm environment and close companionship. And here's a fun extra: my husband is a photographer and loves snapping beautiful portraits of our furry guests—you might get some frame-worthy shots to remember their stay!

About: I have raised two golden retrievers and two cats before, and now I want to try raising some small dogs. I like all kinds of plants and animals. I have many years of experience in pet care and am currently studying pet grooming at a pet school.👍 I send high-definition dog walking videos to dog owners every day and provide timely feedback. 🌟Currently, we only have two small dogs as permanent pets at home, and no cats. The dogs that come to board usually only move around on the first floor. We have set up an independent cat house on the second floor, which is equipped with cat climbing frames and toys. We only use that room when we need to board cats occasionally. Most of the time, we and the dogs are active on the first floor. I currently attend pet grooming school 2–3 times a week, but someone is home every day to help care for the dog. My grooming studies have also provided us with more professional knowledge about dogs.✂️ I have two small dogs at home who can keep your furry friend company. If needed, they can be kept in a fenced area. There’s also a lawn in front of our house where dogs can go to the bathroom.🌱

About: Loving, Experienced, and Attentive Dog Care Hi! We are Andy & Shelly, and we’ve been surrounded by dogs our entire lives. Growing up in a household with a Shih Tzu who lived a happy, healthy 16 years, I gained valuable experience caring for senior dogs and understanding their unique needs. Now, my wife and I are proud paw-rents to two amazing Huskies—one is 10 years old and the other is 4 who are friendly and social with other dogs. I personally trained both of them, so I’m comfortable handling dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your pup is playful or prefers a calm environment, I’m confident they’ll feel right at home with us. We live in a spacious house with a large, fully fenced yard that has plenty of grassy space to run and play. We also have a big covered patio where your fur baby can lounge comfortably in the shade. My wife and I work as a team to provide 24/7 care and supervision, so whether your dog is staying overnight or just visiting for the day, you can rest easy knowing they are never left alone and are getting plenty of love and attention. Whether your pup loves to play or prefers quiet naps, we are happy to adjust to their personality and routine. We treat every dog like family and make sure their stay feels just like home. I currently work from home, so I’m home throughout the day to give your dog plenty of attention, care, and supervision. My wife and I are both home on the weekends, so your pup will always be surrounded by loving humans. We’re flexible with routines and happy to follow your dog’s specific schedule, feeding times, or medication needs. Your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a fully fenced backyard with a spacious grassy area where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. For relaxation and shade, we also have a large covered patio - perfect for cooling off or just lounging comfortably outdoors.

“My two beagles were well taken care of during their stay with Phuong. She is very easygoing, flexible, and communicative, despite my last minute booking and change of plans. Highly appreciated. Would re-book next time time something comes up. Thanks again!”

“Dear Rover Team, Hello! I am honored to write this letter of recommendation for my friend, jiajia. Over the years, I have witnessed his deep affection and careful attention to animals, and I am confident that he possesses all the qualities necessary to be an outstanding pet caregiver. First, jiajia has long cared for two Golden Retrievers and two cats. In managing the Golden Retrievers’ care, he mastered scientifically balanced nutrition and a regular exercise schedule to ensure their healthy physique and happy disposition. For the more reserved cats, he created a safe, comfortable environment and patiently helped them adapt to new experiences and build trust. Whether it was routine grooming, maintaining a clean living space, or administering timely deworming treatments, he organized every detail with meticulous care. Second, jiajia is exceptionally alert to the needs of his pets. Whenever they exhibited signs of emotional distress or physical discomfort, he was always the first to notice and would gently soothe them. Additionally, he is passionate about ongoing education—having completed professional pet-grooming training—and consistently applies his new knowledge in practice. Most importantly, jiajia possesses a truly kind and gentle heart. His compassion and sense of responsibility have brought warmth and hope to many animals in need. Based on his extensive hands-on experience, refined caregiving skills, and genuine kindness, I wholeheartedly recommend jiajia for any pet-care role at Rover. I am certain he will bring peace of mind and joy to both your clients and their beloved pets. Thank you for considering this recommendation, and I wish Rover continued success and growth. July 14, 2025”

Andy & JungChan Y.
“My name is Joyce, and I’ve known Andy since High School. Ever since then, I’ve known him as a true dog lover. I still remember how lovingly he cared for his family’s Shih Tzu—he always treated her like a part of the family. Over the years, there have been many times when Andy has helped watch over my own dogs, and I’ve always felt completely at ease leaving them in his care. He’s patient, responsible, and genuinely loves animals. If you’re thinking about having Andy care for your pets, rest assured—they’ll be in excellent hands. I trust him completely, and I know your pets will be loved and well taken care of, just like his own.”
