Whether it’s a shy rescue who needs gentle encouragement or a senior cat who needs extra comfort and medication, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. I have loved and cared for animals since the day I was born. I have 5 dogs, a mini horse, and two rabbits. My goal is always to provide a stress-free, trustworthy experience for both pets and their people. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time during the week to take care of your babies when needed. My schedule is very flexible right now. I prefer not to work on the weekends, but if it is needed, I will make it work. In your home, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I take time to learn their habits—feeding schedules, favorite hiding spots, play routines, and any medical needs—so I can provide care that feels familiar and comforting. I make sure litter boxes are clean, water is always fresh, and your pet gets plenty of attention and affection at their own pace. For shy or senior pets, I move slowly and calmly, always respecting their space and personality.

About: I’ve taken care of family members dog and friends dogs since I was about 15. I have cared for many senior dogs and little puppies. I know how to do doggie CPR and Heimlich but I am not certified and I plan to become certified. I will care for your dog with the most genuine love and care. Alyssa is THE BEST! We & our dogs were so comfortable with Alyssa. She was professional, relatable, & communicated clearly. She was also able to take our pups on walks successfully, which isn’t always fun or easy, esp for one person. ALSO, she washed her dishes AND her sheets! My husband said, “Do you think she…vacuumed?” Our home actually looked cleaner than before we left.😂 We highly recommend Alyssa & will be very happy to book her again!
Lillian is fantastic! She was so easy to work with in advance of her stay with our dogs. We are new to the area, so I was nervous to leave them over the holidays without a back-up plan. Lillian clearly communicated as needed & sent pictures of our funny babies. She was so patient & kind with both our more anxious old lady and our very curious puppy with attachment issues. We got home & could hardly tell she’d been here. Dishes were washed, towels collected, trash taken out, mail brought in…best of all, our dogs were happy & it was obvious they’d been cared for well. I can't say enough good things about how pleased I was with the job Avery did watching my dog at my house. She took excellent care of my older dog.
